The seats are terrible, it feels like springs are digging into you and the seats are also extremely small. You can hear the other movies through walls which is extremely annoying.Last thing that happened they had no popcorn which to me is criminal. The customer service here is bad. Worst theater we have ever been to and this was also the first time going back to a regal theaters in many years. 1st time coming to this theater and definitely our last. I wanted to leave since the movie started and it just kept getting worse how I felt and how much the experience sucked. We will stick with amc. They sold one display of the Harry Potter buckets to another person before us and wouldn't sell the other displayed bucket and cup set. We even tried asking a manager. So we had to drive to 3 other regals and they all sold all their buckets and their displayed sets so we don't understand why they made an excuse why they couldn't sell it. Customer service wasn't the best or nicest here. Next issue we had was the only 2 people in the group eating the popcorn weren't sitting near each other and we wanted to separate the large popcorn we bought. Our son went and asked for an empty popcorn container and they refused to give him one and told him he would have to buy another popcorn. AMC has never said no to this when we needed to separate the large for our kids. It made it tough for them to share during the movie. The seats are terrible here. They're like the ones from the 90s. They have a dip in the seat making all of us uncomfortable the entire movie and our backs hurt after. The sound was so loud my teenage son and I both left with headaches. It was hurting our ears especially during the cheering scenes and the chess part. Then after the movie ended there was no dimmed lights that came on so you could safely see and leave the movie. It stayed completely dark during the credits. The picture also wasn't great. Unfortunately we came here due to there being more seating availability and drove an hour away to have the whole experience ruined. I've had bad experiences before but this was by far the worst movie experience ever and we are big huge movie fanatics and watching them is our hobby and joy. Such a shame given that there is so many more Harry Potter movies to watch. The money they could have made. Oh well we won't be back to regal theaters or this movie theater. read more

1/7/23: Today was my first ever visit here. So, I didn't know what to expect. We went to see "M3ghan" & we bought our tickets ahead of time. Walking up to the theatre, there was a sign directing people to buy movie tickets at the concession stand. We went to the concession stand for snacks & there were only 3 lines open. There was spilled popcorn all over the floor where we stand to order. People were slipping and sliding all over the place. The line I was in had an employee who was handling money and then going to get popcorn & etc. and not wearing gloves. No hand washing. No nothing. He even brought someone their popcorn with his thumb inside the popcorn bucket. Yuck!!! When it was our turn to order, we had to repeat it several times & we only ordered a small popcorn & medium Pepsi. On top of that, he said they didn't take cash in that line & then pointed to a small sign above the concession stand. We definitely didn't pay attention to that when we were trying to maneuver threw the spilled popcorn all over the floor & trying not to slip. Luckily, we had an available card to pay the $16. Finally, we get into the theatre & found our assigned seats. It was a good movie, but there was a rowdy group who wouldn't shut up the entire movie. They were loud and obnoxious. By far the worst regal theatre I've ever been to. I love regal cinema (member) but I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone going to this place. I went to see Gladiator 2. The cashier told me they were out of pizza, hot dogs, hot dog buns, cheese for nachos and medium size popcorn bags. To add to this debacle the popcorn tasted like an elementary school fund raiser bag of popcorn. Definitely 0 out of 5 experience! If it was an option for .5 of a star. This was probably the NASTIEST movie theater I've ever been in. I get it, we are all short hand with workers right now and everyone's hiring everywhere. But it's like no one works here at all! When we walked in we were greeted by the ticket person who immediately told us they had no food or beverages other than water and popcorn. I was planning to sneak in my Yeti with water but asked the guy, "well in this case can I get my yeti from the car" lol. As we walked in to grab our seat, the insane amount of popcorn on the floor, trash cans that were overflowing was beyond what my pictures could show. It was nuts and absolutely disgusting!!! From what my eye could see there was a total of 4 employees working at 10:30pm. Regal has to do better at getting their employees to work while working . This theater used to be fine. It is falling apart. VERY understaffed. Bathrooms and lobby are filthy. Takes an hour to get food and drinks. Multiplexes are dying because of places exactly like this. The experience sucks. Menus didn't work. Signage for the theater didn't work. Theater smelled bad. Just every reason you'd give to stay home and watch a movie instead of spending $120 for a family of four to be annoyed at the state of this place. read more

We've walked out of several movies now due to minors without manners who need to learn how to act in a movie theatre (I'm talking groups of 10-20 coming in and acting a fool.) I accompany a senior citizen community today to the White Oak movie theater and it was great. The movie theater is situated inside of a shopping center so the parking lot is pretty amazing + huge. The staff at the front window was very help and gave us instructions on what we needed to do to get inside. The lady that was taking the tickets was nice too. The bathrooms were decent, to my surprise it wasn't dirty or nasty which was great and the paper towels were well stocked. We order popcorn, a large cherry coke and a water and because of my regal rewards I got a bit of a discount so I only paid a little over $17. The popcorn tasted really fresh. We ended up watching A Wrinkle in Time the theater that we were in was small and the screen was tiny but the movie wasn't packed at all so that really didn't matter. Tonight I went and the bathrooms were definitely not cared for and the woman manager had obviously checked out. I came out for another beer and they called for her. She asked for my ID which I don't have a problem with except she sold me my first one with no I D check. I am obviously over 21. I went back and got my ID and she pawned me off on someone else. I had also mentioned that the bathrooms needed attention and that she had 7 employees standing around. At the end of night I asked for her and she sent out another guy (very sweet but not who I wanted to talk to). I also used the restroom before we left and not one thing had changed. So I went here today to see Thor Love and Thunder. I was hungry when I showed up and against my better judgement I decided to get food here. Huge mistake. I come here mainly for the sake of convenience, as I live very close (walking distance) to the theater. That said, I ruled out getting popcorn, since it tastes unsalted and unbuttered and you charge for a season pack (huge rip off. (Have you ever tried seasoning a bucket of popcorn with a salt pack?) I decided to get the pizza. (I should have went the hot dog). For $8 I got what was essentially a Red Barron microwave pizza. What's worse, I was told it would take 5 minutes, I waited, for what ended up being 10 minutes that was still somehow cold in the center, and hardly had any cheese on it. Disgusting! The popcorn used to be good here, not sure what's happening but it's not working. Also, the lines in the concession center are too slow. Also, the fact that you pay an insane amount of money for the old school stadium seats is crazy to me when other theaters are cheaper with new reclining seats. Additionally, they understaff this place like nobody's business. Management just looks on as these young kids are busting their butts to do the best they can. I dropped off two 16 year olds (my son & his girlfriend) to watch the Barbie movie. My son called me & said they were told they could not go in unless they were 17 years old without an adult. I had errands to run & instead had to come back & buy a ticket & sit with my son & his girlfriend who are in high school. This rule is completely ridiculous. If Regal is worried about kids this age doing things they are not supposed to do in a movie, then hire security. For god sakes, kids can even go on a date in high school without Mom sitting by them. We came here for Father's Day. It seemed as if that's the holiday everyone goes there because it was packed. The staff was friendly and helpful. Only issue we ran into was wanting to buy a beer. The cashiers at the concession stand was too young to serve the beer. They also weren't aware of the sizes, prices, etc. We had to wait for a manager to come and answer all the questions. I guess adding adult beverages may be new to this theater. They probably added it to compete with other theaters that sell them. I am super disappointed in the regal at White Oak so weird. They have the audacity to have cloth chairs that only recline about an inch with no leg rest also there was a distinct and strong smell of sewer, both inside and in the hallway of the theater, My only expectation is to have the same accommodations, regardless of which movie I'm coming to see at the theater, which I have come to see several.If the price isn't different than the accommodations shouldn't be different I am very disappointed in this experience I do not recommend you coming to the regal at White Oak. The movie was good, but the rest bad. The don't have candy or soda in stock. My daughter's wanted a slushy but the guy told us the were out. We saw people walking into our theater with slushy's and when my husband called out the person serving us he ignored him. The theater is disgusting, my feet were sticking to the floor, the seats were sticky as well and covered in popcorn. The manager's look like teenagers and could care less what is going on. We go to watch movies here very often and it's always ok, however I'm concerned because the theater is always very dark when the movie is running. At first I thought I was just paranoid and this was normal, but now I don't think so. A friend mentioned it when we were there last week. The theater that we were in had no lighted exit signs. Concession lines are always extremely long and SLOWWWWW, also bathrooms are disgusting and not clean. When into three stalls before finding one that was either clean or actually had a lock to be able to close it. Pop corn was everywhere on the floor. Almost everything was out of stock including the drinks, candy, nachos. Terrible customer service. Drink machine messed up and gave me water instead of lemonade and they made me pay for another lemonade. I like that they added reserved seats, so we can get our favorite seats, all together, without having to go early. I would suggest skipping that line by buying tickets ahead of time online. But... prices are higher for tickets than they are for other theaters, even ones which have reclining leather seats. Popcorn can be hit or miss, mozzarella sticks and pizza are decent, and I like that they have slushees. But overall, the main reason to go here is the convenient location for Clayton/Garner. I wish they would update to reclining leather seats and lower the ticket prices a bit to match other theaters. Not our go-to theater, unless we are short on time, cause several theaters in Raleigh offer more comfortable seating, cheaper tickets, and better food. read more
