This theatre is affordable, easy, and clean! Had an excellent time watching Alien:Romulus with a friend and cannot recommend this theatre enough especially after having recent horrible experiences at the big theatre chains. If you are in the area, check this theatre out!

My daughter wanted to see a movie and this was the closest theatre to our hotel. We could actually see it from our hotel room. On their website they had Hop and Rio-3D. We decided on Hop since there was an extra $2.50fee for 3d movies. We got there 20min before the feature started and had ample time to find a good parking spot and visit the concession stand. It was a Saturday evening and they weren't busy which was odd. Box office experience was ok nothing special. We ventured into the lobby. It was big and bare. Most theatres I've been to have alot of posters and standees of upcoming movies and ongoing promotions to hold keep you busy as you wait for your movie to start seating. At the concession stand it was the same as box office but with one exception, she said hello and asked how we were doing. I inquired about the kids pack and she explained what came it. And we also got an extra drink popcorn and candy. The attendant took our order filled it but did not suggest anything else. The popcorn butter tasted burnt to I asked for fresher popcorn without butter. The drinks tasted good. On our way to the auditorium. There were a few employees on the hall way hugging each other and tickle fighting. They did not acknowledge us. I stood there for a few minutes and watched as 3 couples pass by and the employees were still jostling around. For safety there was a police officer by the ticket taker stand. The movie started on time. Clean picture and comfy seats. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. At the end of the movie an attendant came in to clean and he wished us a good night and thanked us for coming. Overall the experience was ok. I would return to this theatre if there was a movie I wanted to see.

This isn't my go to theatre. The inside is very outdated and it always has a very musty smell. However, it very convenient if I am at the outlets and can have a shopping and movie day. Also, prices are reasonable for tickets and for the concession stand. The staff is always very friendly and the bathrooms are always clean.

Honest to god, the absolute worst theater I've ever had the displeasure of visiting in all my…read moremoviegoing life. Complete disaster top to bottom every single time I go. Over the years, I've had literally countless plainly unacceptable and appalling experiences here since AMC bought this place out. I once bought tickets MONTHS in advance only to show up the day of, wait in a full theater for 45 MINUTES, and have an employee come in and tell us that they never actually received the movie in the first place. There was never another opportunity to see this same movie again so the replacement passes were useless. One of the most infuriating customer service experiences of my life. I've experienced movies starting 45 minutes late (and consequently being forced to watch the end of a Taika Waititi movie about soccer.), bomb threats where we were expected to wait around in the parking lot for an undisclosed amount of time (Yes, while the place was literally under threat of being bombed.) if we wanted refunds, 2D movies starting in 3D (Endgame, opening night.) where a customer had to go ask an employee to start the whole movie over again, movie screens being completely green, and every other manner of nonsense you can imagine. When this place was a Carmike, the employees were all stoned teenagers, the poorly lit arcade was often full of child predators, and more than once I saw gum on toilet seats. All of this pales in comparison to the bullshit I've experienced in the years since the buyout. On top of that, the theater is disgusting and horribly rundown. Every inch of it is filthy, poorly maintained, or just straight up unusable. If you're trying to see a movie in Greenville, good luck. Since Regal was bought out, there are 0 viable options. The Golden Ticket is a shitshow too.

The…read moremovie was amazing, the acting was great, and as someone who loved the original, it was so much fun getting to experience this one at Alamo. One of my favorite things about this theater is that it's more than just somewhere to watch a movie. You can order food and drinks right from your seat, but I also love all the nostalgia throughout the theater. Between the arcade games, old movies, music and little throwback details, there's always something to look at or talk about. They also have a sit-in area where you can grab something to eat, hang out and actually connect with other people before or after your movie. It gives the whole place more of a social atmosphere instead of everyone just watching a movie and immediately leaving. Such a fun experience, and The Devil Wears Prada 2 was the perfect movie for it. Alamo continues to be one of my favorite theaters!

We'd heard stuff about Alamo Draft House and always wanted to try it, and finally took the time to…read moredo so. We hit it up for two movies. Mandolorian and Grogu, then Toy Story 5. We went for the full experience, food, etc. Place is a bit out of the way for us, and in an odd location for such a nice experience. They have movie ambiance everywhere, even VCR Movie rental. The reason for three stars has nothing to do with the film experience, that's top notch. The problem is, the cost to quality ratio for the food just doesn't work. I unfortunately for my wallet have a big family, and we brought six people first time and five the next time. $400 night. Also between the two showings pizzas disappeared which was .. odd. They weren't amazing but they were better than 75% of the pizzas made, but again the price points is the challenge. Tack on the 18% delivery charge, and it's bank breaking. I get we gotta pay people but at that price, tacking on 18%, and at that 'meh' quality holy cow man. If we were talking fresh hand made stuff great, but between ordering, grill time, time for delivery, just not worth the $200 in food (or more) and we didn't really get anything outrageous like alcohol or tons of snacks, we're talking drink + popcorn + meal. I want these kind of experiences, but the cost makes this not sustainable for us. food and tickets for six people, second time I trimmed it back as I set expectations ahead of time but still was a multiple-hundred dollar afternoon. When all the TV/Movie press is 'why no one going to theaters' it's bills like this is why, even as a couple we could easily see $70-100 night. Something is broke, not sure it's Alamo's fault either this is a symptom of a larger problem. Feels like something 'in the middle' is tacking things into the pricing that breaks it all, bunch of middle men stealing $ without adding value.

I was in theater 4 this time and they have recently replaced all of the leather on all of the seats...brand new-ish! I asked the staff about it and they said all but one theater had its seats refurbished with the remaining one to be done soon. I did see several people having issues with the recline function on their seats so they didn't repair that on every seat so I think it's luck of the draw. The recline worked fine on our seats. Food comes with an automatic 19.5% gratuity and you pre-pay for it. There are no "server buttons" on the chairs like at other full service theaters to where you can request a refill. Once the movie starts you are on your own for all of that. All of the food is pretty much $25 no matter what you order...salmon, cheesesteak, hamburgers...all priced the same. Desserts are all priced around $12 (I am including gratuity in the prices). Appetizers $17. Drinks are $8.50 and you have to get your own refills!! Popcorn is a ridiculous $16 once tip is added to it!! Movie theater prices are insane. The food here is actually phenomenal. I got the cheesesteak this time which is a short rib cheesesteak with two pieces of slow cooked short rib, kind of like home cooked roast beef. It was amazing. I'd get it again. I paid like $1.50-2 for upgraded truffle fries which were pretty good. Last time I got the crispy chicken bowl and it was good but not a lot of food. We've had the salmon and it's just okay as well as the burgers. Dinner for two with an appetizer and dessert can easily run you over $100. Add in the ticket costs which were $40 and it's a pretty expensive date night. They do have gluten free buns available and the menu has GF indicators but they can't be trusted. We went to order the fried green tomatoes which are labeled as gluten-free only to find out that they aren't...that's no bueno. Food comes out whenever. Get there 30 minutes before your show and order quickly. If you get behind a crowd during say an opening movie night of SpiderMan then you're getting your food brought to you in the dark and you will eat it in the dark. Get there early. Look at the menu ahead of time. Order as soon as you sit down.

The lack of a call button or service app ending up making our experience even worse. We ordered one soda and one beer and AN HOUR into the movie everyone else in our row had been served full meals and I was forced to leave the movie to go find my server. I would have let it go but this place makes you PRE-PAY and PRE-TIP for what ends up being horrible service. At the service window I found my server and let him know it had been an hour and he said "we are trying to get drinks out" This was followed by snide comments from another server from within the stand. I'm sorry but if I don't have my order one hour into a two hour movie you have completely failed and shouldn't be marketing yourself as a food-based cinema experience. To make matters worse my seat was completely broken. No recline. I would have brought this up if I had seen my waiter at all in the first hour. Finally, for me the worst part of my experience is that they had glitching and stuttering on playback multiple times in the first and second reel. The one thing they should be flawless at is projecting a movie and they can't even do that correctly. I will NEVER be back to this theater. This is why theatrical attendance is down. This is why movies are dying. People can have a better experience at home. Congratulations on contributing to the death of the theater experience.
