I saw Project Hail Mary in IMAX this week. It was the 11:30 showtime on Thursday. Bought my ticket at the kiosk, which was pretty easy, but it would be a frustrating experience if it was a busy time with a line. It takes some time to make it thru all the screens. The IMAX ticket was $25. I also bought a "regular" slurpy at concessions for $9. When I walked into the theater at 11:20, it was empty. Eventually, about a dozen people watched the film with me. The trailers (8 of them) started at 11:40...so 10 minutes late at a very slow day/time for Regal. There were no commercials aside from the Regal loyalty program. Picture and sound were good, but the seats leave a lot to be desired. There's plenty of legroom (I'm 6'2"), but there's zero lumbar support and the recline (only the back rocks) is just short of being comfortable. If it rocked back another 3", the angle would be much better and the lack of lumbar would not be as noticeable...and there would still be plenty of room for someone to walk behind you and it wouldn't effect legroom at all. I used to go here quite frequently, not so much anymore. Every time I've been here, the cinema is always clean. Bathrooms also clean. Every theater I have been in is a good size with plenty of seating options. If I had one bad thing to say, it would be the concessions. The concession staff is friendly as well. I've never had an issue with them. I don't care for their popcorn. It's got an aftertaste. Maybe it's the butter they use, honestly I'm not sure. We came for a free AARP movie screening in the middle of the week. This shopping center is always confusing to us but we got here with directions on our phone maps. I have to say the parking lot was extremely dark, very odd for Cary. Movie screening was fine. This theatre is not near us and would not be our first choice unless it was another exclusive screening. read more

This has to be my favorite Regal location in the entire Raleigh area. The aesthetics inside are beautiful -- from the stylish interior design to the clean and spacious feel throughout the theater. I especially love the layout of the lobby area; it's modern, well-organized, and makes a great first impression when you walk in. read more

The person (large guy w long hair and glasses) scanning tickets was super unfriendly and when I mentioned that his name tag was upside down he said "yeah I know. I did it on purpose." No smile. No hello. Just a very cold "go left to theater 1" which didn't even have the name of the movie on it so I wasn't sure. I came here from LA and thought we had bad customer service but ppl at stores here are so rude. If you don't like your job, go get another one but don't take it out on ppl who are paying money for a service and are being friendly. Regal, you're already struggling in this economy so maybe look at who you're hiring bc I will definitely not be coming back here again. I guess southern hospitality doesn't exist at regal. Came here for a movie with friends and I have to say as bougie as Cary is I was disappointed at how trashy this place was. The seats were all torn up, there was trash still in the theater when the movie started and apparently they allow vaping here or just dont care. Eek! Oof! Omg! This IMAX experience is the worst one I've ever had. The seats are not recliners and barely rock as i don't have the strength to even push my headrest back. They're also very, very old because nearly every bit of leather is rubbed off. You also share the arms with everyone which is a distinction from other classier or better renovated theaters. And there are no trays so why do they serve food? There are no dividers between the rows either. To top it all off, evening tickets are $20 for this abysmal theater seating. Oh, and the popcorn is not popped fresh! Tell me you're just in it for the money without telling me you're just in it for the money. Regal, PLEASE come get your franchise. read more

This isn't the worst but is not the best movie theater for the area. It's in dire need of a renovation. From the moment you pull into the parking lot. The lot is huge but should be repaved. Especially for the neighborhood. I don't frequent this area because it is densely populated with shopping centers and heavy traffic from the 40. I left New York for a reason. A friend shared a link for two free movie passes for an advanced screening of " The Blackening " courtesy of Lion's Gate. Upon arrival we attempted to scan our pass with the guy checking tickets. He shared the " special promo guys" had left and headed into the theater already. We entered Theater 17 that was labeled " Spider Man". I found the staff who were kind enough to share where the reserved seats were. The seats have seen better days as they are old, worn recliners in need of reupholstering. My daughter's seat would not recline back down. There was a woman who startled us all during the show to kill a " bug" with her shoe. I'm unsure how she saw the bug in the dark. Overall the screen and sound was standard. Regal has not had me as a paying customer since 2018. This is why. They don't invest in paying customers. Cary won't see me again unless it's at Paragon Parkside. read more

I use to frequent this establishment years ago and decided to go see a movie yesterday since I haven't in a very long time. I was appalled at the seating! The chairs are falling apart, arm rest not intact, and the pleather is peeling so much that I thought the chairs were 2-tone. I mentioned it to the wait staff and he nonchalantly said "leave a review on yelp like everyone else". This was once a premier location for date nights, but the amounts you demand for food and drinks don't match the interior. Sorry, I won't be back until they ungraded their seating. read more

First and last time coming here. I had to have been paying strictly for the movie because the seats in this place look TERRIBLE. I definitely wasn't paying for the ambience and the decor. Five stars because Amy saved the day. My daughter at last minute wanted a different movie and we pre paid with a fandango gift card. Folks, if you care about the person you are getting a gift card don't do it. Our card was a regift from a relative that does not like me. Stop with your Am...n cards. Even prepaid visa. Only give if you pay no fee and it can be used for a tank of gas. These things are just miserable to use. All of them. Back to Amy. She really saved the day for us. Ten stars to her. Five stars to the rest of the staff as well. But do not get the food here. The $6 hot dogs not great. No chili no pinions like other places. The buns were old and hard. The pizza below average for movie pizza. The bar. You can't just order X. It is off a menu and they were out of half the ingredients. The blue vodka thing was below average. We saw a standard 2D movie. It was full price. We drove across town to go to a different movie and check out their imax and upgrade screens. The 2D movie is not worth it. The one 0.5 miles from our house has recliners and much better food. I did check out their imax screen. It is much better than a normal screen ( different movie playing ) but does not in any way compare to the real imax down town. Total cost of going to movies today was about $110. Again, 5 star people. But I wish we had gone to AMC near our house or the drive in that is located in Henderson. I'm not angry like in some of my 1 star reviews. But the 5 stars was earned for the quality of the people working here. Actual 2D movie experience is 3 stars maybe 3.25. The food is a solid 1 star minus. read more

Extremely dissatisfied with the theater today, Christmas eve early afternoon. theater (#2) temp was around 60 degrees, lights were kept on from start of previews until approx 15-20 min into actual movie. (Another patron had to go out twice for lights to be out and heat turned on). Lights finally on but still no heat. Bathroom stalls (most) were completely out of toilet paper and there was no hand drying towels in the dispenser. At entrance there was no ticket person Inside to scan tickets/QR code and had to have it scanned at concession stand, and had to wait in line behind other people buying snacks for 10 min. I've been to this theater in the past and never such a poor experience! maybe short staffed due to Christmas, but this was awful. I would have requested refund if I could. read more

The team at Regal Crossroad Cary North Carolina knew that the AC is not working since past 2-3 days for hall 13 but they still did not disclosed this information to customers entering the hall to watch movie. When viewers complained about this the team below misbehaved and said bluntly go and write a review and just left without being sorry or being unapologetic. Sad to see the state of this theatre. The theater is getting dated, the seat upholstery is worn thin, and many of the recliners don't work. I haven't seen any problem with the projection technology, but for the same price, there are better places to see a movie. read more

This theater has seriously gone downhill in recent times. First, let me address the bad customer service. We went to the concession stand, and ordered fries, sodas, and popcorn. I was told that I had to wait for the fries to come out at the end of the concession stand. No problem, so far. However, about 5-10 minutes after I went to the end of the concession stand, a manager told me that I had been rung up with the wrong item, and needed to make an exchange, or refund me. I then asked about how long it would take to have the fries ready, and was told 5-10 minutes. So, this would add up to approximately 20 minutes total of waiting for my order, not taking into account the amount of time to do the exchange. At no time, did he offer an apology, or any other form of reconciliation. My kids were starving, so, I had to go with doing the exchange and waiting. When we went up to the register to do the exchange, I asked if it were possible for the fries to be started while we processed the exchange, which the manager replied that since he was going to cook them, he had to make the exchange first, again, no apologies. As the process began, other customers began forming a line behind us, I assumed that the manager would alert them that he was not open. Several minutes passed, and my girlfriend finally felt bad for the people behind us, and told them that she wasn't sure if he was open. It was ONLY then, that the manager notified the customers that he was not open. Understandably, many of those people were upset, as they now had to get in the back of another line. I finally got the fries, and thanked the manager, again, no apologies, no sense of customer service at all. Now, I will address the safety issue. During the movie, an employee walked in, and tried to instruct the audience to exit because of a fire emergency. That may have been effective IF the employee hadn't been trying to make the announcement with the movie playing full volume. We couldn't hear anything, or even tell that was an employee. The only reason we found out what the issue was, is because my girlfriend went to talk to him in the side aisle. The movie, meanwhile, kept playing. This really infuriated me because that strategy alone, puts lives at risk! If the fire had been severe, how are patrons supposed to understand the communication through the audio?! Then, instead of instructing us to use the emergency exit doors in the theater, we were instructed to exit out the main doors into the lobby area, and exit through normal exit doors. Again, if this had been a severe fire, many lives would have been at risk. We made it out, and were eventually cleared to go back inside. I got my kids and girlfriend back to our seats, and I immediately tried to find someone to explain what the next course of action was going to be with the movie, since it kept playing (albeit with the audio muted), with about 20-30 minutes left. When I finally found someone after several minutes, I was told that all movies were going to be reset. So, I went back to my seat to wait. 30 minutes passed, and nothing. So, I went back out to get a status on the movie reset, and was told that someone was going to each theater to reset, and was starting with theater 1, and the subsequent ones, in numerical order. We were in theater 18. I asked if they knew the ETA, and was immediately told they didn't know, but, that the person had supposedly just finished with one side of the theater. I was told that I could also get in line for a refund, but, it was a really long line, so I figured since I would have to wait anyways, I would just go back to the theater. Eventually, a very nice kid who was cleaning the theaters came in and told us that his manager had just confirmed that they were not going to reset our movie. Further disappointed, we left. Thankfully, by then, the refund line was much shorter. So, we got in line, and when we got to the person in guest services who was processing the refunds, it was the same manager from the concession stand issue above. Again, NO APOLOGIES. He quickly refunded my ticket money, and we left. We were also told by several employees that apparently it was a skeleton crew today. I don't know who is making the staffing schedules, but, when I used to work in the movie theater industry, we never went with skeleton crews during the holidays. Those were always busy times! But, again, the worst part about the whole ordeal was the apathetic service, and the atrocious handling of an emergency situation. Regal is VERY FORTUNATE that this was not a worse fire situation because the handling of theater evacuations could have easily led to serious injuries, and/or deaths. I seriously don't know, as a result of that, if I can ever trust taking my kids there again, because WHAT IF next time is a severe situation?! And, for managers to not even acknowledge that, to only show apathy, to me, is seriously unacceptable. read more

Well here's mine: Parking: 4 Location: 4 Decor/ambiance: 4 Customer Service: 4 Regal Crossroads is good... not my absolute fav but its a step above others... may I say lol. I love the grand foyer when you walk inside. It has this really cool dome shaped roof with the Emmy figures inside of the dome. If you yell while inside of it you will hear a really cool echo of your voice. That is the coolest part of this theater if you ask me. Other than that, its always clean every time we come and they always have great food to snack on. read more

We saw Spider-Man last night. I took my daughter here to view it in IMAX. The theater was fine, but the seats were horrible. Not comfortable & were not recliners. The movie was 2.5hrs with previews. & the fact that the seats were uncomfortable & didn't recline really made for a terrible viewing experience. You need to shut the theaters down & upgrade. The popcorn here is amazing. Nice theatre for Cary, I miss reclining seats though. Good deals for the unlimited movie plan, you get free stuff for your birthday. It was clean and the staff was super nice. Wear a mask if you want because it was lots of people there. read more
