This season they will have produced six shows just for the Raleigh area. So far this season has been amazing with West Side Story; Having Our Say and Kinky Boots. The final three shows are Memphis; Edges and The Sound of Music and I can't wait to see those. I think it is really great that local talent can showcase their abilities in the Triangle area. Some of the cast does comes from New York City but others cast members are from the Triangle area. The orchestra is local as well and the crews needed to put the shows together. It takes a lot of people to put together these shows and NC Theatre is great for the local economy. But most importantly great for those of us who love watching the performances.

But beyond the perks, I've genuinely been blown away by the talent, the sets, the lighting, and the overall production quality. The cast members are phenomenal, and the passion they bring to the stage is palpable. It truly feels like you're witnessing professional-grade theatre in an intimate community space. The experience is super comfortable too; concessions are available at great prices, the bathrooms are always clean, and the venue is accessible for those with vision or hearing needs, which really shows their commitment to being inclusive. Parking in the Permit lot was fairly easy, however it is a One Way, and you must bring your patience when exiting after the show. Try to find nearby street parking to avoid a traffic jam. I was lucky to score an Orchestra seat front row in A6. The best seat in the house! Plenty of leg room, comfortable and the best view of the stage. I've never sat behind the Orchestra booth, so this was a treat ! This was my first visit to Little Raleigh Theatre and I am very impressed. This production was impeccable. Tia James did a phenomenal job directing. The cast was perfectly tailored to each character and I appreciated that. What a talented cast ! The music was beautiful and the set design blew me away !!! The acting was stellar ! This was in my honest opinion, better than the 2024 Warner Brothers film. By far! I am planning to return again soon. We laughed. We cried. We danced. We sang ! Much thanks to the staff who run a tight ship. Very organized and excellent customer service. I look forward to attending more performances in the near future. I recently discovered that they also offer acting/ vocal / dance classes for adults at any level. I am excited to enroll this fall and I'm happy to hear that they are bringing classes to convenient city park community centers. A dream come true for me to tap back into my talents and childhood interests.

There is a nice big, clean parking deck off to the side of the theater and its full of parking spaces. We experienced FREE parking on this past Sunday. Looks like everyone at the play was able to park in that deck for free. The building serves as a theater for plays and its also a museum with lots of cool artifacts and trinkets. The theater was sorta cold but it was super clean. The ladies working the box office were super nice. The ushers who helped us find our seats at Titmus were super nice as well. NCSU fine arts department is some kind of awesome!

From the programs, sets, costumes and performance, I was really impressed with the entire production. Very professional and polished for a student group. The theatre itself is comfortable with good views everywhere. I would have liked a bit more oomph from the sound system but the audio mix did improve later on in the show. And a small wine and beer bar was pouring out adult bevvies for $4 to $5 a glass. So slow round of applause, NC State University Theatre, great performance and look forward to my next visit...

We came here to see multiple plays such as Dracula, Santa land Diaries, and Hair. You can book your tickets online. They do offer military and student discounts. You just have to show proof that it applies to you upon arrival. They tend to sell out of most of their shows. They have an adorable concession stand that serves refreshments inside the lobby. There are quite a few great restaurants nearby, so this makes for a great date night!

Entrance is from NC State University campus into shared space with Pullen Arts Center at Pullen City Park. The art center is undergoing major renovations as is the TiP parking lot. My wife and I rented this venue for $1500. The contract stipulates they will deliver the venue in…read morebroom clean condition. When we arrived it was filthy. We had to sweep and mop all the floors (you could write your name in the dust on the floors) there were dirty dishes and moldy fruit in the sink, thick, thick cobwebs, crumbs glitter and other filth on the chair (which had to be wiped down individually). We spent hours cleaning before we could even set up. We removed risers and chairs which we were to replace, however, because we left the building significantly cleaner than we found it we did not replicate the risers and chairs. The next business day I sent an email to the artistic director who argued with me that the building was in the condition it was when we picked up the keys. I did not inspect the building as I would never expect a reputable business to leave a venue that has been rented for $1500 in such filthy condition. He replied they would Just have to move the risers then. We have them a $500 check for damages. There were no damages to the building, but I found the checked cashed two days later. Sadly the phots don't do the filth justice.

My partner and I attended the 1812/ Tchaikovsky violin concerto concert on Friday, February 20. Upon entry, I had my ticket stored in my Google Wallet, which, according to the website, should have been fine. The individual scanning tickets said I would have to navigate through Ticketmaster, and given I had no wifi, this delayed our entrance and was somewhat embarrassing. Once the concert was finished, leaving was very difficult. All of the patrons are ushered up 2 escalators. An individual fell, and, understandably, the escalators were shut down. I attempted to use the rear exit, just a few feet away, but an usher told me she was "not permitted to let people use these exits under any circumstances". I explained these are emergency exits and an emergency had just occurred, but she replied that we would "have to find another exit". Given the level of the NC Symphony and other performers at the venue along with the price I paid for front row admission, I would expect MUCH better from the staff. I get better service at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park for a fraction of the price. I sincerely hope these issues are remedied. I will say the sound quality, view and comfort of the seating were all outstanding, but the staff left much to be desired.

There were 100+ local artists showing over 500 pieces of art. They had free pancakes. There was alcohol for purchase at Lincoln theater bar. The staff here were pleasant, attentive and welcoming. The Lincoln theater was not the best venue for this event but they did the best with would they had. The space seems most ideal for the concerts and for standing but was very difficult maneuvering around freely. Needed more physical space to consume and fully appreciate the art. I enjoyed engaging with all of the artist. One of my favorites that was an extreme stand out was Ankit Nagar. Many of Ankit's pieces were so calming and the colors spoke to me. I do recommend the Art Show. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. I enjoy Art. I purchase prints whenever I feel moved but I have yet to be able to obtain original Art. That's a goal of mine.
