After knee surgery Friday, my friend brought me here to have ingrown nails corrected. In addition to pedicure I requested a gel manicure w/ removal of my previous dip powder manicure. David was literally trying to force me to get the dip. He Wouldn't allow me to pick my own colors w/out another struggle. He told me the gel would break in 2 days, so I changed it to a regular manicure. In addition while doing my pedicure I was repeatedly asking him to fix my ingrown nail. He literally did not. The color in my toes does NOT look anything like #25 in the book. He did a slop job painting my toes. He poked me on my wounded knee & said "you're the boss." My husband was furious that my friend made me sit through that! These people were literally telling me what more expensive services I was going to get, nevermind what I wanted. I was upset. Went for a pedicure in August and was satisfied with the service, however, when I paid with my credit card, the woman running it said it didn't go through and told me to insert it again. I ended up getting charged twice! I went to them and showed them that I was charged twice but they said I needed to contact my bank. I disputed it with my credit card company and they contacted Regal Nails for the receipt but they told them it wasn't clear and didn't send it. I didn't keep my receipt but it's clearly a double charge as it's the same amount on the same day. My credit card company said they will contact them again but I doubt they will get anywhere. So beware if you use a credit card at this place! read more

I am fuming mad right now. I went to David for a manicure. I had a 4:30 appointmen, didn't get seen until 4:45, and was "finished" at 5:00. He hacked off my cuticles with no attention to detail. Four fingers are still bleeding. He rushed to "buff" the ridges of my nails but did NO shaping. That's it. I am stunned. Seriously? I went to him (45 minutes from home) because he was supposed to be really good with natural nails. I have never been so disappointed in any other nail service in my whole life. I will NEVER go to him again and I hope whoever's reading this doesn't go either!! read more

I realize that when you get asked where the best nail salon in NWA is and you reply with " inside Walmart on Pleasant Grove Rd" it sounds weird. I've been going to Lisa at Regal Nails for over ten years and I'm always pleased with her attention to staying on top of her craft and her business in general. This is a wonderful salon. I have been going to see them and getting pedicures for almost 10 years now. They are conveniently located inside of Walmart. And if you live where I do, EVERYTHING is at Walmart. Although I generally just get a pedicure when I go, they are a full service nail salon. They also offer facial waxing and recently just added facials. What makes the salon so special, in my opinion, are the owners, Don and Lisa Lieu. They are warm, inviting and bend over backward to accommodate their customers. The salon is open 7 days a week and they are there every single day. read more

The poor woman who did my nails must have just gotten out of nail tech school. She was so slow, and the acrylic was filled and filed so unevenly, I had to have someone else at the salon redo my nails. I ran out of time, having been there for 2 1/2 hours for a regular pedi and shellac fill, and left with my nails filled, but unpainted. AND I was charged full price. The only reason for the second star is the gentleman who fixed them. He was amazing! If you go, make sure you avoid the blonde girl, and you should be alright. $20 express pedicure advertised. When you sit down and ask for it they try to hard sell you on what they WON'T do. My guy friend...they didn't even put lotion on his legs or feet because "no massage" for $20. They refused to use the heels buffer on the bottom of feet. The ONLY reason they get the second star is because the man painted my nails beautifully. Covered the whole nail. But the stress of saying $20 repeatedly and the lack of a full pedicure left me feeling jipped out of my funds. It was a foot washing, nail clip, nail paint. I usually don't post reviews but after what happened to me today I wanted to share. I made an appointment for an acrylic nail refill, regular polish. I was asked to sit down (maybe at the mangers' table...assuming he is the manager because he was not wearing a uniform like the others). When he looked at my nails he asked, seemingly frustrated, "did you cut these down?" I said yes, i like to wear them very very short I just need a refill please. After about 5 minutes or so talking to the worker who was sitting beside him and repeatedly looking at my nails and pointing to them, he said in what seemed like a sharp tone to me with an unhappy look on his face, "switch places with her." He literally asked me to trade places with another customer who was being worked on by the worker sitting next to him. He didn't explain why... just told us to switch places. This was extremely embarrassing to me because other customers were in there too. Let me interject here that the service I got cost $15 (with no cut down necessary). My guess is what I was having done didn't meet the "expectations of profit." The lady who ended up doing my nails was very polite and extremely professional. She checked in with me and asked if how she was doing my nails was satisfactory. And she had a pleasant smile on her face the whole time. Guess what? I left that lady a $20 tip for a $15 service. Why? Because she showed "superior customer service". She didn't care about how much my service cost, she just wanted to make sure I was taken care of. Now "after" that man noticed I left a $20 tip for this lady, he then says "I wanted her to do your nails because I didn't want to cut you with the nail file." ‍ Really...The point here is always... always treat customers with respect (no matter if they request a $15 service or $75 service. And if you make drastic switches explain when it is going on why the sudden change. If you do this you will gain loyal customers. read more
