Regal Cinemas located in Franklin Square, Gastonia, NC, is a theater that has truly left an impression on me.
Today, we returned to watch "Venom" for the second time in as many days, and I must say, our experience at this theater has consistently been enjoyable from the moment we step inside.
Upon entering, we are always warmly welcomed, with plenty of friendly banter and laughter. If the staff recognizes you, they engage in cheerful conversation, making you feel like a valued returning guest.
Hayley, Emily, and Caroline were stationed at the entrance, radiating positivity and asking about our movie choice while engaging in light-hearted conversation as we made our way to the concession stand.
Even as Michael was leaving for the night, he took a moment to wish us an enjoyable movie experience, which was a nice touch that showed he cared about our visit, even off the clock.
The concession team is equally cheerful, always suggesting upgrades for drinks and helping you utilize your points for the best deals. They offer a variety of items, from souvenir cups to various snacks. I do wish they would bring back the pretzels, though!
Chrisie and Geranda manage the theater with remarkable professionalism, ensuring that every guest has a fantastic experience from the moment they arrive. Both managers are friendly, frequently checking in on patrons and sharing joyful conversations before movie time. This creates a wonderfully stress-free atmosphere, with staff guiding you every step of the way.
The cleanliness of the venue is striking; it's a relief to walk into a restroom that doesn't have unpleasant odors and to find the theaters spotless. There's never any litter lying around, and the staff consistently keeps everything tidy.
My son sometimes struggles to see over certain seats, and without hesitation, Hayley provided him with a booster seat to elevate his view. She acknowledged that he might feel a bit older for it but offered it as a solution without any hesitation, highlighting their commitment to excellent customer service.
I must also mention the theater's decorations, which are always impressive. They go all out for upcoming releases, with a festive touch that transforms the environment. From balloons and lights to movie-themed decor, the atmosphere is vibrant and inviting. At times, you might even spot transformer trucks outside or staff members dressed up for themed events, such as during "Beetlejuice" or "Venom." The management team knows how to create an unforgettable experience for guests.
However, one thing I wish Regal would acknowledge is the outstanding level of service and the quality of this theater. It would be wonderful if they could allocate some budget to repair the iconic movie light that's been out since we walked in. It would be nostalgic to see that light shining again, reviving fond childhood memories. I truly believe that Regal should recognize that this theater stands head and shoulders above the rest in the state, and I've visited them all. read more
