my first cat cafe and a perfect intro! cafe is really good quality! drinks and treats and swag. loved getting my 30 mins of cat hang and play. our slot was 7:30pm so a lot of the cats were sleepy but still loved supporting the cafe anyways! staff was amazingly nice as well! check their calendar! i would love to visit one of their events!

Went to Calgary for my vacation (originally from Hawaii) and as someone who has 8 cats at home who are being watched by my parents right I love the atmosphere and it was so clean. Everyone at the cafe was lovely as well. I booked a 30 minute appointment and had a matcha latte. It's good to hear that the cats they have now were all adopted except 2 and that they're gonna get more rescues in two weeks. The service was great, would recommend if you're visiting.

Stopped by to visit the Regal Cat Cafe while in the Kensington area. Lots of nice things to see and purchase with cat themes . We paid $10 for time spent playing with the cats available for adoption. The fee helps take care of the animals looking for a home . Place was clean and had a nice cafe to enjoy a snack & coffee. Nice place to enjoy if testing to see if a new kitty has a place in your home or if it will just have fun to play with cats if you can't own one ...

who doesn't love a cat cafe???? it is completely food safe (that's always my first concern when i hear cat cafe haha) as the cat area and the food area are separate. the almond milk cappuccino i got was soooo good! the service is good, the people that work there seem to LOVE their jobs - i would too if i worked with the cutest cats ever!!! they have all the cats up for adoption, so not only is it a good experience but you can feel good about where your money is going towards and you can adopt a furry friend! the cafe is also a nice place to sit and relax, with good tunes and 5 tables where you can watch the cats. highly recommend visiting Regal.

We paid $10 admission for the child to scare away the cats. I get the concept, and the Meow Foundation. Its a good cause, so I won't trash them and give them a bad review. But 45 minutes to try to pet the cats that stayed away from the child most of the night? 3 stars...not my cup of tea or my type of cafe.

Love finding a clean Cat Cafe on our travels. Regal was clean and cats looked comfortable. Didn't try any of the food or beverages. Hope all the beautiful kitties get adopted. Thank you

The Regal Cat Café is a fantastic place to go. I got so caught up with the cats I forgot to take pictures of the café side. We made a reservation for a date and showed up on time. We bought a few items from the store and then washed our hands to go play with the cats. There is a form to sign and rules to follow such as do not pick up the cats. We had sooo much fun playing and kitty cuddling. There is a $10.00 fee to pay for playing with the cats. The fee goes to running the store and help cats.

I would recommend booking online to reserve your spot in the car area before you show up. Hopping little cafe with some cute cats to keep company . Very clean and the macaroons and cappuccino were great! Great place in a great area to stroll and check out the businesses surrounding them as well.

Beautifully designed space, great coffee and tea, plus sweet treats made locally! Everything about this place is in support of locally owned businesses and merchants. Such a happy environment where you get to enjoy some fuzz therapy! It is also in the heart of Kensington which is a great hip place to explore in the city. Highly recommend checking it out! One tip!! Definitely look into the website and read over how the process works. It is reservation based with only a few walk in slots so best reserve! Also keep in mind the $10 fee to see the cats is crucial for keeping this cafe running by providing the amazing space it has in Kensington and also to care for the cats for they do have needs!! Part of that also goes to the Meow Foundation which is partnered with the cafe to provide the cats. They are the rockstars tending to the fur babies in the first place so it's wonderful to know you're supporting them as well.

Absolutely loved it here! The food was absolutely adorable and cat themed, the employees were so kind and friendly and they went out of their way to get to know me/make me comfortable! The cats were all super friendly and cuddly and most importantly they were comfortable and not stressed out! This cafe is such an awesome place as it helps cats find homes and is an awesome experience:) strongly suggest going'

The Regal Cat Café is such an amazing place. They collaborate with the meow foundation to find good homes for loving cats. The coffee is top notch and the staff is amazing! I adopted my kitty from the café and can't say enough good things about this place. Thank you for creating such a special place.

I've painted at other pottery places before, but this is my first time at Color Me Mine. I was impressed by the great selection of pottery pieces available and there was so much to choose from that the kids were picking a piece, changing their mind, and then changing it again! They even had licensed character pottery pieces like Snoopy, Peanuts, Hello Kitty, and Monsters Inc! We finally settled on a fairy riding a unicorn piece (Can it get any more girly than that?) and my daughter had so much fun picking out paint colours. The staff working at the Color Me Mine Kensington location was a huge help explaining how to get the most vibrant colour from the paint, how long the whole process takes, and she was came around to change the water frequently. She even showed my daughter the kiln and explained how the whole process worked to fire the pottery. We had a great afternoon and I can't wait to see the finished result!

When we back to paint them my grand daughter put a great deal of effort into painting hers and was very proud of it. We went back to pick them up to be told that hers had broken and caused 10 other pieces to be damaged. My grand daughter was devasted and made to feel guilty that her pottery had damaged others and then had nothing to show for her hard work. Never going back there!!

But our hunger got the best of us, so we ended up stopping in town for lunch across the street from Element Cafe. Our next mission was to get caffeine and a little something sweet to finish off lunch. Element Cafe achieved both of these goals. I ordered an Americano and it did the trick. But I really enjoyed the Birthday Cake cookie. The cookies caught my eye because they looked a lot like the mountains we were about to see in Banff: they had many ridges and depth to them. The guy working in here even offered to heat them up for us before I could ask, so he really understood the keys to our heart. My only piece of feedback would be: when you heat the cookies up, don't be shy! Push that dough to the limit and let your cookies be enjoyed the way God intended: like they just came out of the oven. With that being said, the guy was the picture of a nice Canadian. Don't let his slightly under heating on this day shape how you view him as a fellow human. He was great, as were his cookies and his coffees.

I have…read moregotten a matcha here in the past that was okay, but their fall drinks currently look so good. This time around I tried something they offer by reservation called afternoon tea for $40. We each got to pick a tea for our tea pot and had about 8 options. The tea itself wasn't anything special. We tried the chai and the alforno blend which both didn't taste very strong. The afternoon tea deal also came with a snack tower, the bottom consisting of savory sandwich bites, and the top two levels with pastries and sweets. The things that stood out to me were the lemon meringue, fruit tart, and the carrot cake (the cream cheese frosting was really tasty). Overall, this was a super cute and fun thing to try. I'd definitely recommend it if you want to try little bites of various things they carry.

Lemon tart - tart was good, nice crunch to it, lemon was tangy and sweet - just the right combinations of flavours. So why just three stars - well the drink was a let down for me, matcha was not coming through - ended up tasting more like a cup of sweetened oat milk. I'd come back to explore there other pastries, or try there brunch - but that would need to wait until I visit Calgary again.
