It definitely looks better on the inside than the outside. It's a very small but, comfortable theater. The seats were pretty comfortable to not be recliner seating. The concession prices are a little high but, I guess it's to be expected. The bathrooms were clean which is nice. The sound during the previews wasn't great but, for the movie (Wicked) the sound was really good. read more

Very very slow to serve customers. Nearly every person was late getting into their movie. Either stagger start times or hire more people!!

BAD experience. Yesterday I bought 3 tickets for the movie "Melania" first showing today. Parking lot was the busiest I have seen in my town. We go in and they are telling everyone as we get to the counter the movie company didn't send a component for them to be able to play the movie. It would be at least Sunay before it would show. The movies are digital; I called BS and when he asked about a refund, you bet. You don't get to keep my money for nothing. I just find it interesting it is on the "Anti Ice, Anti-Business Day. Are they trying to make the movie flop? I find it all disheartening when we just wanted to see a piece of history. We will just go to Augusta to see it. read more

The quality of the movies is low, Its like watching 1080p, instead of 4k. The tint color on the projectors is messed up, all the movies have a blue tint and nothing is being done to fix the issue. I still like Regal Cinemas but I will no longer go to the Aiken location, I'll just use more gas and go to Regal Cinemas in Augusta to watch movies. read more

I called up there more than six times to ask a question, but no one came to the phone or called back. It got to the point to where the phone call would hang up on my face as if they were declining my call . This is one of the main reasons why I always travel to Augusta to watch movies for better service in better movie environment and experience. Movie theater is getting into bad condition. The walls are starting decay, there's holes and cracks all over, the bathrooms aren't clean and have mold in them, and the concessions are pour. You only have popcorn, candy, and fountain soda to chose from. There is alcohol beverages for 21+, no pretzels, no corn dogs, no ice cream. They are missing a lot of snacks most theaters have and the building is in very bad condition. read more

I'm not sure what these bad reviews are talking about. I think the theater must have gotten an upgrade recently, because my experience is that it is well-managed, the concession line is quick, the selections and quality are typical (I don't think you'll find much variation in popcorn or Coke between theater chains), and the theaters themselves have wide, comfortable leather seats. The seats don't recline, but you're not paying 'reclining theater' prices. I love this place, no complaints from me. read more

It's a small theater but a short drive for folks who live in Aiken. Concessions have improved but could be better. I don't like they only take Regal gift cards and not Fandango. If you can wait a few weeks after a popular movie is released, then check Aiken out. The current employees are very nice but they perform door checks too many times during the movie (four times!) and that becomes disruptive. Hence the three stars. They have updated the seating but you still might get someone in front of you that blocks your view. If you want to choose your seat, get there early because half the seats are too close to the screen. I do like the convenience and it's clean. Support local businesses. read more

It always smells like Bengay and "sneeze" in the theater... and I always step on popcorn. Now that I've gotten that out the way, it's the only movie theater in Aiken. Although the facilities could be better, I will continue to be a patron because it is minutes from my home. I usually arrive early and there is never a line. I guess that's a good thing, but concerning at the same time. I hope they never close up shop; I would hate to have to drive to Augusta every time I wanted to see a movie. read more

This theater is in desperate need of an upgrade. The seats are old, the rooms have an unpleasant odor, and on one occasion the surround sound speakers crackled and sounded horrible! To make matters worse, they charge a ridiculous ticket fee for matinee (over $9!!). Drive the 30 minutes to Regal Augusta for a much nicer experience. read more

Older theater but was recently given a little bit of a face-lift, making it bearable for times you don't want to venture to Augusta. Screens are on the smaller side, and is not really set up to handle the giant crowds that come with new releases, so the lines can get pretty long with only 2 ticket windows and 2 vending stations. If you are a student they don't offer a discount, which makes the larger newer options only 20 minutes away that do even more appealing. read more

Local spot to see a movie without large crowds. The theater is a little rundown and older looking; however, the theater has a friendly staff. Concession is extremely overpriced and the popcorn is stale. Nice large leather seats. read more

You think 4 people should man the concession stand while 1 inept grunt runs the ticket booth, wrapping the line around the corner of the building, forcing those who got in line 20mins BEFORE the listed showtime to change their movie choice to a later showing? Really? You think you dont owe an apology to anyone and should respond to a query or complaint with condescension and apathy? "its saturday, opening weekend for harry potter AND captain america, why are we all missing the previews?". Ok....this is a small theater with a decent sound system, but it had REALLY exorbitant concession prices!!

Seems like the other reviewer on here had a really bad day... I've been coming to this theater for many years and I've never had any problems out of the staff. I know during one showing of Hellboy 2 that I went to the projector all but busy into flames near the end of the movie. Management apologized and issued all of us 2 passes, one to come back and see the movie again and one to use as we pleased. I'll admit that the theater is s but old but I know that they've just upgraded all of their projectors to digital, giving a much better picture quality. It's a little theater that does it's best to get by. I will secondly take waiting in line for and extra few minutes over driving 30 minutes to Augusta any day. read more

In the summertime we bought tickets and after entering our theater, we realized the air conditioning wasn't working and it was over 90 degrees outside. Nobody told us when we were purchasing our tickets. We had to leave. Now it's February and I had to put gloves on in the theater and still froze. It was awful. I asked a young guy in the lobby if something could be done. The first time he checked the thermostat and it was on 68 and he said it was preprogrammed and should switch to 72 soon. After awhile of still being cold, I look at the thermostat and it was still 68 so I went back to the lobby and asked if he was the manager, he said he was and I asked him again about the heat. He returned to the theater with me and just took the thermostat off of the wall and left. No apology or adjusting the temperature. It was awful. I complained again on the way out and another young man went and got a lady from the office so I am not sure the first young guy was actually a manager. She said "You have to remember it is an old building". I hate that we will have to start traveling to Augusta, Ga. to watch a movie but we were so uncomfortable at the theater in Aiken and they could invest in proper heating, even if it is an old building, if they want to continue to have a good business. Never had a problem with the Cinema.. Maybe the other person that was there should move on and go back where you came from. I have been here for 37 years and NEVER had this problem. If you don't like it... stop going. It is obvious you have been there more than once, if you didn't like going to that PARTICULAR Cinema, why did you go back? Horrible! The sound was only coming through a single speaker in the center behind the screen. I have a $100 little home theater sound system and it sounds better. I told the usher, he told the manager. The manager walked through, made a pretense of checking the security door and left. Nothing was done. The last time I went here, it was the same. I will drive to Augusta from here on out. I suggest you do the same. read more
