This is a classic Drive-In experience. Wonderful picture clarity and great sound. One price = two movies!! You can't beat that. It is truly a hidden gem only a little more than 30 minutes from Augusta, GA. It was amazing. I will say on downfall is that it is NOT a new/modern looking place. It's old and even the concession area looks old. However, have all the food choices you would like. The food line gets long although they try to have other windows open for food. Concessions are only on Main field and their are walking paths back to the main gate. Also, cars are everywhere so get there early to get a good spot. Great experience will definitely be back!!

Nice place! Good way to change up date night and attend an outdoor movie. Tickets are 9 bucks a person which isn't bad considering you can watch two features. Concessions are slightly cheaper than that of an actual theater. The only downside is having to arrive 2 plus hours before to get in line and find a good spot on field .

Get there 30 min to an hour early before the gates open if you want a great spot. There are 3 fields where a movie is being played and usually has a double feature movie. I usually go for the pizza at the concessions stand but make sure you your food as soon as you get there to avoid the long lines before the movie starts.

It took me way back in time! The quality is not great -- it's about the experience. The playground equipment was even there.

My favorite job of all time was working at the Santa Monica Laemmle movie theater from age 19-21…read more Everything about that place, from the ambiance, the manager, the staff, the customers, the films, and the spirit made it what it was. Marshall, the manager at Riverwatch Cinemas is running his own gem. Riverwatch is a community hub where people of all kinds can find company, healthy escape, fun, life, and good old-fashioned nights out at the movies. Marshall is always on the floor, zipping around and making sure both his customers and his team are happy and running well. A little while back, during the thick of my Ph.D. dissertation deadline, I showed up at Riverwatch a couple of hours before meeting my husband for a movie. All of the decent coffee shops were already closed, but I needed somewhere to work before the movie. Marshall not only allowed me to come in early and work in the nice dining/bar area, but he also checked on me regularly, shared his love and passion for his work with me, and made a wonderful impression on me. I now understand why Riverwatch is the place to be! Movies are constantly sold out, the setting is lively and appealing, and Marshall should be credited for this. Whenever we are down and just need to cheer up or want something fun to do when loved ones visit, we get so excited to go to the movies at Riverwatch. Thank you, Marshall, for keeping this precious part of our culture thriving! Attached: photo of my husband's work's trip to the Wicked movie premiere at RWC.
