PLEASE BE CAREFUL Wendy Sebastian is a THIEF! I authorized ONE purchase for a "Single Colon Hydrotherapy Session" in the amount of $59 for which I signed the liability and cancellation policy agreement. And I did not cancel this service and it went just fine. No other purchases were authorized with Refresh Your Soul. While we did discuss other services for the future and I was interested in the "Colon Hydrotherapy" service I did not schedule any appointments for this service even though Wendy Sebastian charged my card $285 for three sessions anyways. When she initially tried to run my card it declined and I called my bank to stop any further transactions, though she claims I called my bank "to push it through". When I tried to dispute the charge I was informed that Wendy said I authorized the charge, that I asked my bank to push the transaction through after it was declined, she lied to my bank. She claimed I wanted the service and then cancelled and due to her cancellation policy I was still required to pay for the services. However, there were (and are) no appointments scheduled to be cancelled and no purchases for any other services to be cancelled at the time I left her establishment. Wendy admitted via my voicemail, that she "did spend some time with our tech support and your card did go through. Unfortunately, we don't give refunds for our purchases. I was under the impression this is something you wanted to do, and we were moving forward with that. I'm sorry that I didn't get the phone call. Why don't you give me a call back if you would like to discuss this further." So Wendy herself pushed an unauthorized transaction through with her "tech support" after hours and while neither I or my card was present. I did talk to her and I did try to resolve this matter with her as advised by may bank (CHASE). To me it was simple, my card was declined, no payment was authorized, no services scheduled and/or rendered and I left with no pending appointments or receipt of payment. Still, Wendy was determined and she informed me that if I tried to dispute this with my bank that she would win because she has before. Which means she is in the habit of forcing transactions and then arguing that the customer signed her cancellation policy stipulating no refunds. Very clever, because it worked. Wendy successfully robbed me of $285 and my bank told me that I had to take it up with her, the thief. In what world is a victim of theft able to reason with the thief and get their money back? I have STILL never received these services she charged me for and she still has my $285. Why would I ever want to go back to her establishment? Since she cannot be reasoned with and neither can my bank, I have since filed a police report. I hope you all reading avoid doing business with this thief. read more

Owner is super rude, embarrassed my boyfriend while in office and in front of other clients. Very unprofessional, upset over the fact that I bought my boyfriend 2 separate vouchers and stated she makes no money offering her services on Groupon...she made a huge deal about it was argumentative with my boyfriend in lobby in front of other clients....she was told from the beginning by me over the phone when I booked his appointment that it was his 2nd Groupon voucher that I had purchased for him she even found him in her system and stated " oh yes, he's been here before" then when he was there she claimed she never knew and was super rude and showed little to very poor professionalism and no customer service. I have been seeing Wendy for almost 3 years now, and just started my 30day cleanse with her and so excited to see the results! My digestive issues are under control, and through maintenance with Wendy and all her great advice I've felt better than I have in years. She is very open and honest and easy to talk with about digestive issues, nutrition and overall health. She's been my number # support system for my gut health!! I tried restricted diets, probiotics and digestive enzymes but was not getting the relief I needed. The procedure itself was great. Her customer service... not so much. My appointment was set to start at 11:30. I did not get back into the room until almost 11:45. She then informed me that my appointment was going to be half consultation half procedure. The consultation consisted of her asking me why I was there and what thought laxatives are for. Her overall customer service and bedside manner was extremely poor. She was very informal with me used phrases like "you've got to stop eating that sh*t" After the short time actually having my colon irrigated she finished up and told me to put my clothes on. I looked down at my watch and saw that the time was 12:16. Clearly, this appointment was not an hour. Before leaving she made sure mention to me that I was "very sick". I was a little shocked because I regularly exercise and visit the doctor and have never heard this. Especially from a person with no schooling and just certificate to perform colon irrigation. There are plenty of other reviews regarding Wendy's customer service. So, I'm going to focus on Wendy's "policies", a term she frequently uses. Be careful before entering into a contract with Wendy. As it is currently written, her contract states your financial obligations only. It does not state what services she will provide in return for your payments. Any obligations on her part are verbal only. She feels that she is justified in not honoring her verbal agreements while still binding you to the written contract's 30-day cancellation policy. Specifically, in my case, I entered into a contract with her based on a verbal agreement that I would receive a product discount. The product discount was the only reason I signed the contract, and she knew this per multiple conversations. Honestly, I didn't notice it was missing from the contract. She later decided she could no longer afford to give the product discount, "forgot" to tell me, and when I realized I was no longer receiving the product discount, she said I still had to give 30 days notice to cancel per the contract. It is very frustrating that a business owner cannot or chooses not to see how one-sided this is. It cost me $223.92 but I won't be going back. If I can't trust you to make fair financial decisions, I'm certainly not going to trust you with my health. read more

Refresh Your Soul - Changed my life more than I could have imagined. When I started coming to Refresh Your Soul about three months ago I was 25 lbs heavier than I wanted to be, constipated despite being proscribed to take Miralax everyday, also taking Align and Nexium, and not feeling myself. I had been feeling this way for years! I had been to a Gastroenterologist and she recommended that I take those medications forever. I knew this was not what I wanted to do but at the time I had no other option. I continued to feel bloated, consitpated and in stomach discomfort pretty much all the time. It took several months of my good friend convincing me to go to Refresh Your Soul. I was skeptical, of what a colonic was. I was thinking is was going to be an embarrassing strange experience, I could not have been more wrong. To say the least I was very comfortable my first time. I slowly started changing my diet from relatively healthy to a whole new me. Before, I was eating gluten (bread, cereal, pasta) several times per week and eating Greek yogurt almost every day (because I thought that was what I was supposed to do). After learning more about my body and what gluten and dairy were doing to it I slowly started to cut it out of my diet. Being from South Carolina I was seriously wondering how you can live life with out bread and milk but let me tell you it is very much possible. I never eat bread now, if I want something similar I eat gluten free chips which are really good! As for the dairy free I now stick to Almond and Coconut milk, yum! The biggest part of my diet change has been my morning shake Wendy recommended. I cannot go a day without my shake, it gets me going, it fills me up, it starts my day, it curbs any bad cravings and it gives me everything I need for the day. I bought two sessions at Refresh Your Soul. I attended the first session and during the appointment, wendy took a personal phone call which was unprofessionally especially while using procedure instrument. I was so embarrass and felt my privacy was violated. In addition, the practice at this office is the client leaves out the back door which I was prepared to do. However, I was asked to leave out the front door and had to pass two individuals waiting in the waiting area. Again I felt embarrassed and felt wendy was unprofessional and knackered customer service skills. However, I didn't say anything because I knew I already scheduled my second appointment. I attended the second appointment because I already paid for it. As I parked my vehicle, I believe a saw wendy leave out the back door of her office but I didn't think nothing of it. I entered the office through the front door and waited for wendy to show up but she did not. I called her office phone while sitting in the office. I mentioned I was in the office and waited for 10 minutes and was leaving now. Five minutes after leaving, at 345pm, I received a call from wendy but I was driving at the time. Wendy called again, 10 minutes later but at that point, I did not feel comfortable rescheduling an appointment and missing work for a no show. I had never even heard of colon hydrotherapy and was a bit nervous before my first session but Wendy is super sweet and makes you feel comfortable and explains in intricate detail the benefits of the procedure and what she is doing step by step. It's crazy how much toxic build-up we have in our bodies that contribute to our poor health and poor diet choices. I now do once a month maintenance hydrotherapy because I have so much more energy, improved complexion, less cravings, and I've lost some weight. * Since I've written this review the owner has responded. Just for the record this review is NOT about her policies but about her attitude, lack of respect and overall unprofessionalism. I'm not a one star kind of girl but this was by far the WORST experience I have ever had with any business. I have never felt so disrespected, belittled or discriminated against. I don't know if she's racist or just an awful person to select people. I've had digestive issues since I was a teenager and they got increasingly worst as I've gotten older. I eat a clean diet vegetarian, dairy free, mostly gluten-free diet. Yet I still have some lingering issues. Wendy was referred to me about a year ago by a fellow yogi. Months later I saw she had a groupon so I thought it would be a great time to try it out. I booked my appointment online, downloaded the new patient forms and printed out my groupon. I even did the 3 days of carrot juice before my procedure. I was ready! The day of my appointment I was super excited to hopefully put an end to my digestive issues. I arrived 10 minutes early so I sat in my car for 5 minutes to finish up an email. I walked in the door and the first thing out of Wendy's mouth was "I was just GETTING READY to cancel your appointment!" Wait what?!?! She rambled on about how she sent me an email and I disrespected her by not getting back to her. I was so shocked! I checked my email...nothing was there. I then check my Spam Firewall (a place where emails with no subject or appear to be spam go, it's completely separate form my email) and her emails were there one w/o a subject and one w/ a vague subject. I apologized to her and asked if she tried calling me, which as a business owner is the next logical step. She said "Well didn't you book online? Why would I call you?" WOW! Unbelievable. As an owner of 2 businesses myself, I make an effort to get in contact with my customers by any means necessary. She also stated that she was too busy to call customers. She then decided to further insult me by asking "Well didn't you think that you would need to receive some kind of paperwork?" Ummm yea, I downloaded it from your website and filled it out. I came fully prepared for my appointment. I kept my cool but I was livid. I told her that she was very unprofessional and rude and I wasn't comfortable being in her presence and left. She called me shortly after I left and hung up. She called back about 45 minutes later and left a message to somewhat apologize and try to "make things right". She was so wrong, that there was nothing she could do to make the situation right. She's awful. Now I'm stuck with a groupon that I'll never use. I understand policies and that they are put in place for a reason. I would have gladly rescheduled considering her emails we're stuck in my spam (because they had vague or no subject line) but she addressed me in such a condescending and disrespectful way that there was no turing back.
