What was most frustrating was that when I expressed my concerns, I felt like they were dismissed rather than addressed. Throughout the appointment, Jen seemed distracted, and I never felt that she was truly listening to what I wanted. As the appointment went on, I also felt that she became frustrated when I spoke up about the results. I left feeling disappointed, frustrated, and unheard. I don't know whether she was having a bad day, was distracted by other things, or if this is her usual approach with clients, but the experience felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. The haircut was quick like I needed, but that didn't stop Ling from talking with me and having great conversation. I felt very welcomed, relaxed, and left feeling great about my hair. I would absolutely recommend this salon and I will definitely be back. One thing I will mention is that this establishment is cash or check only. I think they would be even better if they accepted card or if they had a Venmo/paypal account for customers that don't have cash on them readily.
