No one had professionally cleaned them in several years, so I went for it. I was working upstairs in my office and received a few pictures from Anthony, the technician. I couldn't believe my eyes. My tile floors and rugs looked new again. Check out the pictures, and you will see the difference too. Anthony explained to me Zerorez does not use soaps or detergents. I called Mike and he was immediately responsive. He came out to the house at 9:00 that evening, when someone would be home to let him in, and serviced the unit. He did exactly what he said he would do, did not charge us a premium for the call, and discussed all services and charges before he did them. It is very rare to run across someone this hard working, fair and honest. I was so impressed with him and his work ethic I immediately hired him to service our systems annually. After servicing our unit, and leaving after 10:00 pm, he still had another call to make. He said he was busy because of the hot weather but he needed to make sure his clients were taken care of....I just can't say enough about that kind of attitude! Exceptional!!

I had a very disappointing experience with J&W Heating and Air…read more I originally called J&W because I was having moisture and condensation issues in my attic and wanted them to determine what was causing the problem. Their own invoice states that the supply plenum was falling apart and causing condensation to drip onto the ceiling. They recommended replacing/rebuilding the supply plenum, and I paid them $1,047 to do that work. My concern is not that there was moisture in the attic. That was the reason I called them in the first place. My concern is that the repair was not done properly. Over time, the moisture continued to cause damage, and the return became so compromised that it was close to falling through the ceiling. At that point, I called Amelia's Best, the company that installed my new HVAC unit. Amelia's Best repaired the immediate damage because the return was in such poor condition that it needed to be addressed right away. J&W then came back out because they were supposed to correct the underlying problem that had caused the damage in the first place. After J&W completed that work, I had Amelia's Best inspect it. Amelia's Best found that the underlying issue still had not been properly corrected and sent me a video showing the condition of the work. I then showed that video to J&W so they could see exactly what Amelia's Best had found. I ultimately added foam insulation to the attic, so moisture is no longer the same issue. However, that does not change the fact that the repair J&W was paid to perform had not been properly completed. Had I not added the foam, the same problem most likely would have happened again. What is especially frustrating is that J&W's invoice states that the $1,047 plenum work carried a one-year labor warranty on company-supplied materials and service. I raised my concerns and asked J&W to refund what I paid for the plenum repair so I could have the work redone correctly, and I also asked them to reimburse me for the damage caused when the repair failed. I provided J&W with photographs, videos, invoices, and documentation supporting my concerns, including the video from Amelia's Best showing that the work was still not properly corrected. Despite that, I do not feel J&W stood behind the work or properly honored the warranty. Subsequently, I also tried to submit a review directly through J&W's website, but the website would not allow me to post it when they saw it was not a positive review. I cannot say why it would not go through, but I wanted to share my experience where consumers would be able to see it. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend J&W Heating and Air to someone looking for a company that stands behind its workmanship and resolves problems when a repair fails.
