I went to this spa a while back and got a wax with hard wax, facial, and massage. Each portion of my visit had a different employee. During the wax the lady was extremely kind and held the conversation very well! The facial was a little disappointing for my first one, not as much cleansing of blackheads as I'd hoped and the staff looked very tired and as though she did not want to be there. The massage was amazing and the man who did it was perfectly professional with a great amount of conversation and silence to keep you enjoying the experience while still relaxing. Overall, a very great experience at refresh day spa. My only other comment is that the wax I had requested hard wax for sensitive areas and it is not as common so it took a bit longer than I'm used to, so just prepare for a bit of a longer visit if choosing hard wax over soft. I can't say enough about this lovely spa. I've been going here for more than 10 years, and the place and the staff are the BEST! They are always welcoming and fun and the service is above reproach. I have been having pedicures with Aimee for 10 years, and she is so professional and creative. My toes are literally the topic of conversation everywhere! She does the most beautiful designs and she's so kind and gentle. Refresh is my favourite...I have tried a few different places when I've been given a gift card, but I always, always come back here...it's beautiful and spotlessly clean. I got to many spas because guys need to take care of themselves too. Refresh is one of my favorites. Always a friendly smile when I walk in. The girls know my name and I rarely wait. I usually go to Heather but I have had Kelly and Danielle too. The service is always great. My girlfriend has been going to Refresh for many years now and it continues to improve. She loves Michelle for her nails! We have gone together for couples pedicures and manicures before vacation too. I just visited this spa for the first time and was so happy with the service! The parking lot is newly paved which I loved. There was tons of parking in the plaza! The spa itself was very clean and I was immediately greeted by the spa with smiles. They offered me a drink and took my coat! Such good customer service! I go for pedicures regularly at Refresh. The staff are all very kind an accommodating, especially when I don't book an appointment in advance, they can always fit me in. I really like that they have a private pedicure room for men. The spa is very clean and they even take the pedicure chairs apart to clean them in between pedicures. Prices are very good too.
