The prices are what you'd expect in the hamptons, but honestly after shopping in stores like Louis Vuitton and Chanel these prices seemed more reasonable, though dresses are going to run you at least a few hundred bucks. I was hoping for a sale rack but didn't find any. The store owner here was friendly and chatting away with what I'm assuming were some local regulars while my friend and I looked through the racks. Not a bad stop if you're in the area doing some shopping, especially if you like flowy dresses!

They reversed the charge and charged me again for the correct amount. However, partially because the store made a mistake in reversing the charge, and partially because of a bank error, I spent THREE DAYS getting my refund - ugh! To top it off, the east hampton store didn't have the cover in stock, so they said it would be sent in from NYC in no more than 2 days. I called three days later only to find out that the employee never gave my name to the NYC store, so the item was taken off hold and was never sent to east hampton. When I asked how they intended to rectify the situation, being that it was the third or fourth problem I was having with ONE TRANSACTION, their big offer was to not charge me for overnight shipping, so that it would arrive 2 days late instead of 4 days late. They have not met my expectations, so despite the beautiful product, I will have a very hard time recommending them to other people.

Came here to window shop with a friend and we had a blast looking at the wide selection of Chanel options, from shoes to sunglasses and pretty much any type of bag you could want. Value wise it's shocking to look at some of these price tags, but hey, it's the Hamptons. It's worth coming for the photo op, for the free glass of champagne and to just say that you've been here. The sales associates were very helpful, they are made up of a rotating selection of associates from all over the country. As it was after Labor Day we practically had the whole store to ourselves. They had several colors available and I also tried some exclusive scents that I might go back later to purchase. The building that houses this boutique is a massive gray New England mansion set back from the street. It looks imposing but is very accessible and this was a very enjoyable shopping experience. They also gave us reusable bottles of Path water while waiting for the purchase to be wrapped up.

You'd have to order online or search every display table at our local retail outlets, and then check to be sure those are really Long Island locals, attractive to birds, nourishing for pollinators and hardy enough to grow in our mostly sandy or loamy soil. Native plants don't need fertilizers or even much water after they've settled into the right place, so you're not wasting money or resources. Wittendales has clearly labelled "LI Local" pots with blue and yellow stickers (think Swedish flag colors), along with posters, signs, and a binder with plant care tips. If you need help coordinating plants that play well together , I'm told their displays of color coordinated "companion plantings " will change as the growing season progresses. Also, they have reasonable prices!

Called on Sunday, Aug. 1st to see when the gift card was mailed. I volunteered to drive out to pick it up. They claimed it was already mailed out which was a lie. Finally received the gift card on August 5th! It was postmarked Aug. 3rd. That is terrible customer service. Will not recommend you again.

I wanted to buy a limited-edition publication and I did a web search for sellers. Harper's Books was one of the very few booksellers with a copy, and their price was also the most reasonable (admittedly that was probably because the few other sellers had signed copies). I e-mailed the bookstore and received a response within literally about a minute. There were several e-mails back-and-forth re: certain details - and Chris (the co-director) was exceptionally responsive, accommodating & pleasant. The photos alone make the store look lovely and the service was superb!

Finding these items, especially on clearance, is a bit of a dig. It's decently well organized, but the clearance section is definitely a bit of the wild, wild west. Lots of things in this store are the very last one, so if you see something you love but need a different size you're probably out of luck. Definitely worth a stop in if you're in the area.
