The prices are what you'd expect in the hamptons, but honestly after shopping in stores like Louis Vuitton and Chanel these prices seemed more reasonable, though dresses are going to run you at least a few hundred bucks. I was hoping for a sale rack but didn't find any. The store owner here was friendly and chatting away with what I'm assuming were some local regulars while my friend and I looked through the racks. Not a bad stop if you're in the area doing some shopping, especially if you like flowy dresses!

Not a shopping experience I was used to visiting here from San Francisco, CA. I've worked in customer service and the individuals who work a store are meant to reflect the store owners envisioned experience and overall customer service morals... if this is the case not worth supporting this vision with your dollars. There are many stores just like this on the street with a kinder warmer experience! No need to be walking on eggshells when you are in someone's store.

Main st is known for getting all of the tourists window shopping. Heck, I even bought a tee shirt at one of the stores on Main St as an impulse buy. Our friends bought a beautiful blanket with the Montauk emblem on it. When we went to Gosman's Doc and stepped inside Kai-Kai? I saw the "same" blanket but was marked down 50% off! 50% is a big savings! Lets do a test. You have twenty bucks in your pocket. Now give to me $10 bucks. Sucks right? Keep your money my Yelp friend! You're taking the time and reading my reviews, I should be able to pass my savings on to you. This store I also need to point out, has quality clothing. Its been my favorite store to shop at for over 25 years. We've purchased items for every member of my family with no complaints. Oh and that 50% blanket? I couldn't let it go! The attention to detail and the superior customer service and focus makes you WANT to support such an AMAZING brick and mortar store. Sure we could always shop on line but the personal assistance and wealth of knowledge about all J. Crew merchandise gives us confidence our purchases are PERFECT! Special thanks to Amanda who manages an incredible kids department. She is amazingly customer focused friendly personable and professional and very kind. She always is and has been SO helpful in directing us to the exact right clothing and accessories for our grandkids! Her expertise brings constant joy for us as we see our grandson and granddaughter enjoying their clothes. Finally we'd be remiss if we didn't mention Kerry, East Hamptons store location store manager and her entire staff.
