One of the ladies working overheard me and rushed to the back to find the cutest, vintage embroidered jacket for me. If only it had fit me and was not $245. They told us that all the prices could be negotiated, even the clothes that were already discounted. The ladies working here really made this place special. If you are looking for something, they will help you find it. They also told us that they are putting new items on the floor every day. There was also a large assortment of designer pieces, such as Chanel and Louis Vuitton. This store is definitely more catered toward people that can afford to live/vacation in the Hamptons, not a college student who happened to wander in. But if that's you, this place is a must-go.

So he could swim in the bay or pool though chilly out! Not a surfer... a lawyer who loves to keep the swimming season going longer. Hahha. Matt, Eric and Chris were super helpful associates. Checking sizes, products via phone, checking stock in their affiliate stores and holding an item while driving over. It's especially important to get a wetsuit right size wise or water seeps in and its too cold for that. He loved the suit. Once he came over thinking the rear zipper broken... he couldn't reach the zipper tag or get out of it! I checked and it was inside out!! hahaha... Never put a wetsuit on inside out especially if you live alone.. could be trapped in your wetsuit. hahahaha three weeks later there was also a small tear ... and the manufacturer offered to repair via mail.. but so did Flying Point saving time and trips to the post office. Flying Point was great at getting the repair in and done efficiently. When I went to pick it up, just had to give my friends name and they went to the holding room and brought it right out. Its a good example of why a good local shop is really needed... when sizes vary significantly on items and brands. Shopping is so much more than price and mail service... Online retailers could never offer anything close to this great customer service and small town enjoyable experience.

We get to the register and carried out our purchase (No greeting until this point).. He's never felt immediate regret from purchasing clothing from a store until this experience. Giving the benefit of the doubt that hopefully this wasn't racial but please treat paying customers better..

I first saw them in a 2 shops in Cold Spring Harbor back in or around 99-2002. People are either fans of the colors and images or they are not.. but most can't help but like the fun prints on a tie. George Bush and John Kerry have worn them and they made a tie with an O for Barack Obama. The best time to buy them is in Spring, to kick of your favorite recipients new wardrobe additions in spring/summer. They make great gifts.... I admit I don't wear them.. LOL!! but I love those pink boxers with whales or ties with mermaids! how can you pass them up. As a mother they are always in the easter basket! What happens to them.. I have no idea. Keep in mind that this review is for the physical store itself and not the brand. I have been to a number of different VV locations throughout the country and the Southampton location is, well, OK. The selection is fair and the store is a decent size but the service has never "wowed" me. Sure, the staff has been nice but nothing to write home about. I was in a few times this summer and sadly there was no air conditioner. It wasn't anything I couldn't deal with but it did cut my visit short which ultimately means lost revenue for the store. Mostly I felt for the staff who was stuck in that space with no AC and very little ventilation all day. I'll be back to the Southampton VV's as it is one of the closer locations to my home. I look forward to their new location at Americana Manhasset in the near future.

If you hit it right, you can get designer dresses marked down from hundreds of dollars for just $90 or so if you're shopping toward the end of the season. On my most recent trip here I walked out with $4 jean shorts, a $12 top, two pairs of casual shorts that came in a set for $6, and a two piece outfit for $29. Finding these items, especially on clearance, is a bit of a dig. It's decently well organized, but the clearance section is definitely a bit of the wild, wild west. Lots of things in this store are the very last one, so if you see something you love but need a different size you're probably out of luck. Definitely worth a stop in if you're in the area.

In the Lake Ronkonkoma area; the places that I'd find New Balances in the past such as Kohl's, Dick's Sporting Goods, and the New Balance store by Smith Haven Mall were m.i.a on a good selection of them that were reasonably priced. So on my second full day on Long Island, my dad and I headed out on the Long Island Expressway to its easternmost end at Tanger Outlets to check out the New Balance Store in the eastern quadrant of the outdoor mall.      When I visited on May 16, 2024 at 12:30 pm, there were plenty of parking spaces leading to a short walk in my worn out New Balances to the business. When I walked in I passed the tables and racks of New Balance apparel on the way to the back where I explored the aisles of New Balance sneakers. I found the aisles to be nicely organized and clean. The left half of the aisles merchandised women sneakers where the right were men's. The aisles were further broken down by sneaker type and style. For example, I saw an aisle for training, another for walking, and so on. With this commendable selection were an impressive variety of sizes. Unlike some stores specializing in footwear, there were several sizes of each sneaker on the salesfloor.     The sales associates were helpful and patient. On account of how difficult it was for me to find a size that was comfortable to wear with my Superfeet insoles, it was necessary to go through boxes of sneakers to find the right one. In hindsight I should of taken a photo to show all of the boxes. The Associates gave zero issue as I tried on several pairs. One of the Associates went as far as to measure my feet, although the measurement was incorrect.    Thanks to the abundance of different sizes, I finally found a size 9E that fit comfortably. Complimenting the impressive selection of sneakers were the prices. In my mind, this store is the best deal for New Balance sneakers. After all this is a factory outlet store. On top of the low prices they offered some additional great deals that included 25% off some of the sneakers.    Based on my leading check-in here on May 16, 2024 at 12:30 pm, I can myself returning here when I visit my dad on Long Island. My Dad had even said that he plans to go to the Tanger Outlets more often than Kohl's.
