The owner also owns the barbershop around the corner in the same plaza and came quickly to meet me to do the tour once I arrived. He responds quickly to texts and calls. Here are my notes: venue comes with - 60 folding chairs - 2 round tables - 5 (4 ft) rectangle tables - 4 (6 ft) rectangle tables - 4 high top bar tables - 24 bar stools - 3 buffets for food service, one large cooler, a cold drink fridge, one very small food warmer (small black box next to the white cooler in my video). - Separate gender bathrooms - WiFi and Bluetooth Sound system with good volume that can be loud. Can show a slideshow on TV. (Everything was out in the video except for some of the stools. You can set up how you want.) The time you reserve includes set up and break down (chairs and tables need to be broken down and placed against the wall). Unless you pay an additional fee for him to set up and break down for you. Trash needs to be taken to dumpster at the end of your rental. Parking is what is available in the plaza. There is a small lot right next to the venue that was empty when I toured. He will unlock door and walk through at the beginning of your time and come back for walk through at end of time. $200 refundable deposit is required to book and signed contract (cash, cashier check, M.O. or Zelle). Full payment is due 2 weeks before your event (can do PayPal invoice). These are my notes and ratings based on the tour, not based on me using the space. When I toured, they just had an event recently, so it had not been cleaned or broken down yet. Which I am grateful for because that let me see the potential of how many the space will hold with all the tables and chairs out.

If I had rented this place I would have literally gone room by room taking photos of how ill-kept this estate is for the price they charge. First of all, the person who rented the house prior to our stay spent the entire time partying with drugs and alcohol. It was literally documented on his webpage. The house reeked of marijuana. Reeked. The caretakers m tried to neutralize it, but it didn't work. Nasty. Second, the pool was browner than the Gulf of Mexico and the the caretakers shocked the pool to such an extent that black shirts and shorts and suits were literally bleached-which turned them brown. Third, the air conditioning sucked. I stayed in the master bedroom and the temperature in that room didn't go below 80 degrees. In July. In Texas. The living room got so hot that we could literally see the walls sweating. Legit water stains from that. The entire house was hot. The entire house needs a paint job and major cosmetic upkeep. There are places where you can tell water entered the house and ruined the baseboards and floor. At some point someone painted over the glass front door with red paint......I'm still trying to figure that out. The kitchen was nice and big, but the house didn't provide much. When the renter complained the caretakers went and bought things like pots and pans, but it's obvious they have no procedures that keep check of items in the house and whether they were stolen or not. While we were there the caretakers did come and clean the sheets and change bedsheets, etc. They were very nice, but I think they're just the hired help. Whoever is actually in charge of the estate needs to come and spend some major money to fix it up. The webpage says the estate can sleep more than 100. Um. No. Not unless those 100'are legit lining the floors with their bodies, and I mean lying flat on their backs on the hard floors and unable to turn over. Do not think you can have more than 100 sleep in this house. If there were a fire you would all die. The saving grace was that there was a coffee maker, and, wonder of wonders, coffee in the house. That's the one star. The coffee maker and coffee.

I rate it a 4 and not lower because its a black owned and we should have negotiated a better deal for outselves I hate that they didn't treat us vip and all the "blues" artist didn't show ?? If they did we didn't see them. Still managed to have a good time because familar covers was preformed and @donyale_renee received her proclamation and gave a full out performance with a band and backup singers Plus we met all performaners that was there so it was still a good night

The staff was very friendly, and check-in was a breeze. When I first arrived, there was a bit of a line at the front desk, so I went straight to my room and tried the digital key. Surprisingly, it worked right away--which rarely happens--so I was able to get settled without any issues. I noticed signs throughout the hotel mentioning that housekeeping had December 25th off to spend time with their families, which I thought was very considerate. I had no issues related to that during my stay. The room was well equipped with a microwave, mini fridge, and a coffee maker similar to a Keurig. The TV is a smart TV and includes Netflix, which was great. Breakfast is not included, which is typical for a Hilton Garden Inn, but there is an option to order breakfast in the morning. I went down to the lobby to do some work and saw a few other guests, but it was never crowded. The property also has an outdoor pool and a fitness center. One thing that caught me by surprise at checkout was an added "Shadow Creek" fee, which is tied to the neighborhood or area of the hotel. This fee--about $4--was not included in the original booking confirmation email, so just be aware of that if you're booking a stay in Pearland. Overall, I had a great stay. The staff was friendly, the hotel was quiet, and I would definitely recommend this location.

Check-in was seamless as I checked in through the Hilton Honors app. When I arrived, there were several guests waiting at the front desk, so I went straight to my room and used the digital key, which worked perfectly. Nice touch: the TV welcomed me by name, and the AC was already running, so the room was cool and comfortable when I walked in. This was very much needed since it was 79'F on Christmas day!! The room itself was pretty much what you'd expect from a Hilton Garden Inn: a comfortable king-size bed and standard amenities. I had limited interaction with staff during my stay since I bypassed the front desk for a physical key card. Not complimentary upgrade! One small FYI--when I booked the reservation, the total rate was different from the check out statement. There was a local fee listed as "Shadow Creek." I asked the front desk about it and was told it's a local area charge since the hotel is located in Shadow Creek. It was about $4, not a big deal, but something to be aware of. They let their housekeeper staff off on the 25th and it was a nice touch. Employees are your most important asset and kudos to management! It was a comfortable, and hassle-free stay.
