Gentry Custom Woodworking did an excellent job designing, manufacturing and installing our new…read morekitchen cabinet. It has seven sliding shelves on each side. They glide out and are easy to load. High-quality materials and work. I saw them at the Tacoma Home Show and had been talking with them over a two-year period. When I was ready to move ahead on the project, Aaron came out to see the site and submitted the proposal. Before starting work, he returned to verify measurements and the layout. When the cabinet was ready, he and Kevin came out and did the installation. They also took the cabinet that was there and moved it downstairs and repaired two of the doors, so it is now useable. I had forgotten that I was supposed to order the hardware to match what we already had. Aaron took photos and placed the order and returned and installed the hardware when it arrived. We appreciate the attention to detail and the willingness to go the extra mile. Great Job and Great Customer Service!!!

Five Star Cabinet Refacing…read more I was referred to Rick at Five Star, from the minute he showed up at my home to discuss my kitchen, I just had a feeling he was who I wanted to do the work. I still had two other company's scheduled to discuss the work, one of them never showed after a few reschedules and the other was hard sell wanting to do a complete make over when I only wanted my Cabinets refaced. But they weren't the reason I chose to go with Five Star, Rick was. From our first meeting he was a genuine gentleman, listened to what I was wanting, gave me a few suggestions, which I am very thankful for and chose to do, but never any pressure sales. He took all the measurements, details and got every thing ordered, that is once I finally made up my mind, which he was very patient with my ever changing decisions. When I met Kelly he too from the beginning was a gentleman, very patient with my never ending questions. He was very meticulous in his work, he took the extra steps to make sure things were done the proper way. He explained what he was doing as he went along, including me in the process of each step. At the end of each day Kelly had the work area all cleaned up and I was able to use my kitchen if I needed. After the prepping and facing was done both Rick and Kelly worked together on installing the cabinet doors and drawers, they knew just what the other one needed working smoothly together. I am very thankful for the referral to Five Star Cabinet Refacing, and grateful to Rick and Kelly for doing an amazing job bringing it all together for my new kitchen which I love how it turned out. I highly recommend Five Star Cabinet Refacing, Rick and Kelly do amazing quality work with integrity. Thanks Rick and Kelly!

Avoid Rockwell Interior Design, which is also operating as Chic Cabinetry…read more(Rockwellcabinetsdesign.com) in Gig Harbor, WA. We chose Rockwell/Chic at the recommendation of our contractor, as this was their preferred cabinet provider. This proved to be a mistake, as Liane Rockwell was more interested in satisfying her sense of design than meeting our needs within the space available. Our contractor needed to intervene to get the design changes we needed. Then the design mistakes showed up with the cabinets. Drawers would not fit under bathroom sinks and had to be remade, the kitchen appliance garage was missing the internal box and shelves, and the storage cabinet for our laundry room was delivered without anything to support the internal shelves and it was 2 inches shorter than needed, preventing the installation of the adjacent cabinets flush to the ceiling as desired. The Liane's response was, "Those things happen", and she refused to correct the situation. Leaving our contractor to deal with the cabinet manufacturer.
