After 40+ years of haircuts this is the first time I've really been impressed! Refine Men's Salon will now be my go to place for all things hair! I found them on Yelp and based on the reviews I figured it was worth a try. I gave them a call to see if they were busy and set up an appointment. I recommend doing this because it's a real men's salon. NOT A SUPERCUTS TYPE OF PLACE! If you're looking for a cheap un-even buzz cut - this is not your place. Refine is a place to get your hair done right. I arrived a few minutes early and they offer free beverages while I waited. The entire place is clean and well maintained. I was in the chair by my appointment time. Ciarra was my stylist and she really listened to what I was looking for. With most places; you usually get the vibe that they just want to know type of cut and don't really care about the rest. Not with Ciarra! She actually listened to me. About half way through the cut, she joked that this will make you look 10 years younger. At least I thought it was a joke. However once I was all done, I actually looked younger! Ciarra is a true magician! Without really challenging my style she was able to bring youth back to my hair. I don't even live in Dallas but I will be back regularly! This place is great. read more

This place is a life saver! I was visiting relatives in town and needed haircuts for my two boys. I found this place on Yelp and they fit us in immediately for cuts. I was able to book an appointment over the phone and there was no wait time once we arrived (this is key when you've got restless kiddos). The amenities were great. I relaxed with a drink while the stylists took care of my boys. The place was clean and lovely and their cuts came out great. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Plano. Refine is the same great men's salon minus the franchise fees for that establishment referred to as 'dieciocho | ocho'. You'll never go back to a regular barbershop after experiencing the spa treatment there. Services include facials, waxing, coloring, manicures, shave, haircut (including clean-ups). Outstanding place!! Was very impressed as soon as I walked in the door. Receptionist was really nice. I was offered a cold drink. There are robes to put on so no hair gets all over your clothes. I was introduced to Cassie, she did a outstanding job. It is far more than your standard hair cut, it is an experience. Shampoo, hot towels, head and shoulder massage...etc, she took her time and made sure everything was perfect. I had ans excellent experience, highly recommended !!!! read more

I made my husband an appointment for his birthday to get pampered. My husband is not a high maintenance person and thank heavens his stylist Cassie knows what he's doing. He looks amazing! Cassie even showed him how to style his hair and made sure to note his preferences so next time he wouldn't have to try to explain it. They have craft beer, hot towels, AND straight razor shaves. I just happened to walk in to this place in urgent need for a trim. Being that I had an important business meeting the following morning I was a bit nervous trying out a new barber. Ciarra has been cutting my hair for over two years now and I love being her client. Haircuts are fantastic and she gives great tips on all things hair and skin (facial hair, eyebrows, scalp, etc.). This place is absolutely phenomenal I was greeted with a complimentary beer when I walked through the doors and once it was time for my cut I was given a nice robe to ensure that I got no hair on me.
