They honestly did their best to minimize collateral damage by laying down heavy mats to travel on being respectful of my lawn. It was amazing to watch them in action. Access to my worksite was nearly impossible but with the crane they were able to reach to the back of my property and beyond to take down trees. By beyond , I mean they reached over into my neighbors yard and got the his tree that my tree knocked down. The crew spent hours cleaning up the debris from the trees. I' m glad I was able to find. The limb split about 2/3 of the way up our 100 foot plus hickory tree and fell across another 100 foot plus hickory tree making it a very dangerous removal over the house. We called Guzman's for a free estimate based on their excellent reviews and received a call back within minutes. The owner, Silvestre, came out that same day to give us a quote. The quote was extremely reasonable and probably too low considering how complicated this limb removal turned out to be. He assured us that his guys could drop a limb on a dime and he wasn't kidding! The whole crew came out the next morning exactly as promised and immediately got to work. We were in awe watching these guys work their magic on these massive trees. The man cutting the hardwood trees made it look so effortless as he climbed the trees and flew from tree to tree like Spiderman. They had very little clearance between the trees, two houses, and our fence, yet not one branch hit anything. We opted to get both trees completely removed due to safety issues. Their clean-up was so good that you can't even tell that there were trees there. We truly can't recommend this company and their crew enough. This is a family-run business that's licensed and insured, takes great pride in their work, are prompt with good communication, and do an excellent job cleaning up afterwards. Give them a call. I explained that I'm waiting on two more estimates and would call him this weekend. Friday during the dinner hour, Mr. Rodriguez called to say that his crew would arrive the next day to start work. I politely reminded Luis that I was waiting on estimates and would contact him by Saturday. He thanked me, and the call ended. In less than a minute, Luis calls back, yelling that I had an agreement with him and that I couldn't do this to him as he called in a crew to work the next day. Absolutely excellent service from the start to the finish! We haven't addressed our trees in almost…read morefive years. It was time! The canopies were very low, lots of broken and dead limbs, and we had a few trees that were so overgrown that they were against the house and roof. The initial walkthrough was with Chase Hartman, a Certified Arborist. We looked at every tree on my property and discussed what could be done to it to raise the canopy, thin it out, check for damage and disease, and make sure it's healthy and will continue to flourish. At the end of the walk, they were going to limb up and thin out six huge trees in my front yard, take down a pine and oak that had grown together and were way too close to my home, take down six dead Leyland Cyprus and two huge pine trees that if they fell, would crush my home. A week later, the crew arrived with two trucks, a bobcat loader, a chipper, and eight very experienced crew. They sized up the access to the property, spoke with my neighbors to ask to use their driveways to get to my backyard, and went to work. It was incredible to watch professionals practice their craft! They systematically worked on the two large pines in the backyard by climbing the tree and cutting limbs as they went up. Piling up the limbs to be pulled away by the bobcat to the chipped. Within two hours, both large pines were gone, and work started on the cypress, which they made quick work of. They arrived at eight AM and left at one-thirty PM. Professional from start to finish. They protected my yard, my neighbors' yards, and systematically, cleanly dropped ten trees and cleaned/limbed up six trees. From the first walkthrough to the final stump grinding a week after the tree work, excellent communications, great service, extremely professional and friendly. Beyond that, they cleaned up after themselves and had our property looking immaculate afterwards. The crew cleaned up after the work was completed so that there was no dust or wood chips on our roof (and our neighbor's roof since they had to access the neighbor's property to fully take down the tree). Anyone visiting us the next day would've never known that we just had a giant tree cut down. There was some oil spillage on our paved alley/driveway from a chainsaw that broke while cutting down the tree, and Northside provided us with a free power wash to take care of the problem. Northside does excellent work and I recommend them if you need a tree taken down.
