I've been helping my sister w/some home repairs in preparation to sell her house. She has a twinned furnace that was never wired correctly, but it worked (I guess the inspector missed it when she bought the house in 2017). Jim Reeves fixed the issue back in November. Of all days, the furnace stopped working 1/7/2026, 2 days before a big storm came in w/feet of snow...and the gas fireplace turned its self off, too! Jim was going to take the snow day but when he learned she had no heat source, he chugged through the snow on unplowed roads and quickly figured out the issue! This guy won't just tell you that you need a new furnace just because he wants to make money. Honest HVAC guys are hard to come by. This will be my guy if I ever need anything! BEWARE OF THIS DISREPUTABLE SERVICE PROVIDER!! The tenants in one of my rentals told me the AC wasn't working. I called my long time HVAC service provider to take a look, but he was out of town and referred me to Reeves Heating & Indoor Comfort. Jim Reeves came out and looked at the until and told me the compressor was bad and I needed a brand new system and, while I was at it, I should replace the furnace as well as it was almost 20 years old, for a total of $7,225. Since the cost was way more than I was planning I decided to get multiple quotes. After about 10 days I was able to get another technician to take a look. He took the cover off the AC unit and immediately saw a burned wire - see photo below. After about 10 minutes of trouble shooting, he found that the start-up capacitor was bad. Once that $25 part was replaced the unit worked great. He also inspected the furnace and said, while it was on the older side, it was working fine and did not need replacing. If Mr. Reeves had done his job my tenants would have been back up and running the same day. Instead, they had to endure the hottest two weeks of the summer in a non-air conditioned house. It's clear that Mr. Reeves didn't even remove the service cover on the unit. He just saw an opportunity to sell an AC and Furnace. If I could have posted this review with zero stars, I would have. read more

Jim showed up on the day we agreed to and took out an over twenty year old furnace and put in a new furnace of the same caliber, as I requested. He also replaced return air vent covers that had fallen off the wall. I am very impressed by Jim's work. He did everything I asked and all the while had to deal with my Boston Terrier, as well as rescue cats. He was reasonably priced and very professional. My furnace wasn't working for 5 days! I was dreading calling someone because I am a single mom and worry about being taken advantage of by companies. Jim came to my home and repaired it the same day I called. I wasn't able to be home but felt comfortable letting him into my home remotely (he was referred by a family member that trusts him). He went inside, repaired it, and left me a bill on my table for when I came home. I was expecting an outrageous bill but was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable he charged me. I recently bought a house that needed a major upgrade in all new 1) Water Heater, 2) House Heater, 3) Air Conditioning in Colorado Springs. We had our HVAC system inspected by another company and were informed we had a gas leak both upstairs and downstairs. Additionally, this company said our air conditioning units were leaking and about to break. Price estimates to fix these problems ranged in the thousands of dollars. Our neighbors recommended we call Jim at Reeves. Best recommendation ever!! We told Jim we had a recent inspection, but did not want to disclose the results; rather, we wanted him to conduct his own inspection. Jim and his son were very professional and conducted a thorough inspection. He educated us on what to look for and recommended different thermostats and filters-all of which we could install ourselves with no pressure from him. He proved to us how the other company deceived us into trying to buy new heating units rather than simply fix the problem, which was a very small leak in the attic (easily fixed by Jim). The cost was minimal and a mere fraction of the other company. I recommend Jim to everyone in my neighborhood and those outside.
