We are remodeling and Winterizing our basement. Jim, of Reeves Heating and Indoor Comfort, was highly recommended to us by our plumbing contractors, MD Service Plumbing. We needed an evaporator system and a new heating vent installed. Jim was professional, honest, and helpful. And to top it off, he was reasonably priced. His work was better than our expectations, and Jim went the extra mile to help us get ready for winter. He spend his time to show us areas that needed insulating and caulking. Jim suggested several inexpensive methods that would help us Winterize. We could not be more satisfied with Jim Reeves and would highly recommend his service! read more

I've been helping my sister w/some home repairs in preparation to sell her house. She has a twinned furnace that was never wired correctly, but it worked (I guess the inspector missed it when she bought the house in 2017). Jim Reeves fixed the issue back in November. Of all days, the furnace stopped working 1/7/2026, 2 days before a big storm came in w/feet of snow...and the gas fireplace turned its self off, too! Jim was going to take the snow day but when he learned she had no heat source, he chugged through the snow on unplowed roads and quickly figured out the issue! This guy won't just tell you that you need a new furnace just because he wants to make money. Honest HVAC guys are hard to come by. This will be my guy if I ever need anything! He knows more than just HVAC, which makes him well worth the service fee cost! Thanks Jim! read more

This company is a rare find. Jim has given nothing but quality and honesty. I had a previous furnace company that sold me on a not so quality product. Jim was patient with me and kept fixing my furnace until I was finally ready to replace no pressure just provided what I needed at the time. He also doesn't want to gauge people which is what we no longer can find as easy. Will always use them. read more

I met the owner, Jim Reeves, when I moved to Colorado in early 2005. Both Jim, and his son, "TJ" who now works with him, are the kindest most hardworking, knowledgeable professionals that I have ever met. Throughout the last 20-years they have repaired, replaced and updated both my heating and air conditioning systems. But more importantly, they have earned my complete trust and respect. You can't possibly go wrong with this team!!! read more

We have been using Reeves Heating and Indoor Comfort for many years. Our furnace stopped working last week and when I called Jim, he fit us into his schedule for that same day. He was able to diagnose our problem, find the part we needed, then pick up that part and install it all in the same day. We are very pleased to get that type of excellent service, and we highly recommend Reeves Heating for furnace and air conditioning installation and maintenance services! read more

I have used Jim for heating and cooling needs for over 25 years both personally and professionally (referring Jim to my Real Estate Clients) Service and Professionalism is Excellent and rates are awesome! read more

They were HIGHLY recommended by our plumber.....wanted estimate on new furnace: they were pleasant and helpful but never send a bid on a new furnace. read more

I recently had Jim Reeves install central air conditioning and I couldn't be happier with the result. He responded quickly to my initial inquiry with a visit and a quote which was substantially lower than the others I received. He was on time for every appointment and the work was completed as promised. Both Jim and TJ were friendly, knowledgeable, professional, answered all my questions (even the dumb ones) and left the work areas neat and clean. I would recommend Reeves Heating without reservation. read more

BEWARE OF THIS DISREPUTABLE SERVICE PROVIDER!! The tenants in one of my rentals told me the AC wasn't working. I called my long time HVAC service provider to take a look, but he was out of town and referred me to Reeves Heating & Indoor Comfort. Jim Reeves came out and looked at the until and told me the compressor was bad and I needed a brand new system and, while I was at it, I should replace the furnace as well as it was almost 20 years old, for a total of $7,225. Since the cost was way more than I was planning I decided to get multiple quotes. After about 10 days I was able to get another technician to take a look. He took the cover off the AC unit and immediately saw a burned wire - see photo below. After about 10 minutes of trouble shooting, he found that the start-up capacitor was bad. Once that $25 part was replaced the unit worked great. He also inspected the furnace and said, while it was on the older side, it was working fine and did not need replacing. If Mr. Reeves had done his job my tenants would have been back up and running the same day. Instead, they had to endure the hottest two weeks of the summer in a non-air conditioned house. It's clear that Mr. Reeves didn't even remove the service cover on the unit. He just saw an opportunity to sell an AC and Furnace. If I could have posted this review with zero stars, I would have. read more

I was referred to Jim Reeves for a new furnace by an electrician I respect very much. Jim showed up on the day we agreed to and took out an over twenty year old furnace and put in a new furnace of the same caliber, as I requested. He also replaced return air vent covers that had fallen off the wall. I am very impressed by Jim's work. He did everything I asked and all the while had to deal with my Boston Terrier, as well as rescue cats. He was reasonably priced and very professional. I will use this company in the future, if needed. read more

My AC and furnace were quite old and starting to have issues. I decided it was time to have them replaced. Jim was very quick to provide a quote and recommended units that would be efficient for my home yet powerful enough to do the job. I thought the pricing was fair. They showed up on time, completed the work quickly, provided suggestions for me to improve efficient with changing vent placements and were respectful of my property. After two months now, I couldn't be happier. No issues with anything. It's been perfect and after July's AC bill arrived, I was extremely surprised at how much cheaper my bill was! I highly recommend Reeves! read more

Jim answered my call when I needed him most and was able to help me try to figure out what was wrong with my furnace, and when we found the problem he was able to come out the very next day and fix it. Service was amazing and had my house with heat before 24 hours of the time I called him. Very grateful for him and his service. Highly recommend! read more

Absolutely satisfied with the work Jim did. Had the blower motor go out on my HVAC set up. Jim came over within hours of my call and explained, in a no-pressure setting, my options regarding replacing the part vs replacing the unit. Was able to replace the unit quickly and was eager to work with me to optimize my heating/cooling system based on my preferences. As a military member who's always moving, it's hard to find tradesmen you can feel comfortable with. Jim's interest in simply doing the best job for his customer lets me know that I have a solid HVAC guy that I can always count on and could recommend to anyone needing help. read more

I called Jim Reeves for a HVAC appointment my AC not turning on. Replacing the capacitor didn't fix the problem. He did phone diagnostics with me and viola, he identified the culprit of a slightly open furnace door. So grateful that I didn't get hit with a large repair bill. I'm extra grateful for a very honest businessman with INTEGRITY. I will recommend Jim to all my family and friends from here on. Thank you Jim Reeves HVAC 1 (719) 593-2831!! My furnace wasn't working for 5 days! I was dreading calling someone because I am a single mom and worry about being taken advantage of by companies. Jim came to my home and repaired it the same day I called. I wasn't able to be home but felt comfortable letting him into my home remotely (he was referred by a family member that trusts him). He went inside, repaired it, and left me a bill on my table for when I came home. I was expecting an outrageous bill but was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable he charged me. It has been a few weeks now and everything is working great!! I didn't get to meet him personally but would highly recommend his company. They will definitely be the ones I call for any needs I have down the road! read more

I recently bought a house that needed a major upgrade in all new 1) Water Heater, 2) House Heater, 3) Air Conditioning in Colorado Springs. I'm new to home ownership and got several recommendations but after talking with Jim Reeves I truly felt that he was the right person to help me. He listened to my goals for what I wanted to accomplish and gave me advice (but wasn't trying to sell me on anything specific - just advice based on what I wanted to do). In talking with the other vendors, they seemed intent on selling me the highest priced of everything, even though I was clear that wasn't my goal. Jim was very balanced and gave me good advice, was able to jump on it quickly, and it was all done very easily and very professionally. I don't give many reviews...but I'll give people like Jim Reeves a reference anyday (: read more

We had our HVAC system inspected by another company and were informed we had a gas leak both upstairs and downstairs. Additionally, this company said our air conditioning units were leaking and about to break. Price estimates to fix these problems ranged in the thousands of dollars. Our neighbors recommended we call Jim at Reeves. Best recommendation ever!! We told Jim we had a recent inspection, but did not want to disclose the results; rather, we wanted him to conduct his own inspection. Jim and his son were very professional and conducted a thorough inspection. He educated us on what to look for and recommended different thermostats and filters-all of which we could install ourselves with no pressure from him. He proved to us how the other company deceived us into trying to buy new heating units rather than simply fix the problem, which was a very small leak in the attic (easily fixed by Jim). The cost was minimal and a mere fraction of the other company. I recommend Jim to everyone in my neighborhood and those outside. Very honest, extremely professional, and will not deceive you into thinking a problem exists when it does not. Highly recommend!!! read more
