He was able to diagnose & fix the problem quickly. The burners in our 28 year-old Trane furnace had randomly started turning off before the set temp was reached, but the furnace would continue to blow unheated air through the system. Turns out, the flame sensor just needed to be cleaned. Rather than sell me a new part (or a new furnace!), he cleaned the part & checked all the other components. Problem resolved!! The company also gives military & discounts. When we DO need a new furnace, we'll be calling on this business again.

The only reason they couldn't fix it on the first visit was because I have an older heating system. Parts aren't readily available. They even offered to bring me space heaters until the parts came in. I called another company but they threw parts at it and couldn't figure it out. I should have called Calibrating Air first. I had a company have to replace my old A/C because a siding company damaged it and because its old (25years) they couldn't find repair parts. So, they replaced my A/C. I called them first because I thought it would be a warranty repair. Nope! Calibrating Air will forever be my first call from here on out. They should be yours too! You won't regret it.

These guy's are awesome! I will definitely hire them from now on and I highly recommend…read more First of all they only charge $49 to come out and assess whereas all other HVAC companies I've contacted and/or hired in the past charge $150-$200 which is obviously gonna suck if it turns out to be a simple fix/operator error like in my case. They were even able to come out the same day. I was an idiot and put the batteries in my thermostat the wrong way, I couldn't see the markings so I tried both directions to no avail, I guess they have the magic touch because they fixed the batteries and got it working right away. The crazy thing is they waved the fee despite coming out and fixing my issue and even more unusual they went into my basement, did an assessment, checked my vents and replaced my filter for free while it was 99 degrees outside. I even insisted they let me pay which they refused. I'm going to need a full replacement soon, I'll be hiring this company for sure. They answered all of my questions with patience and ease. They're super friendly, professional and knowledgeable and were awesome with my dogs (since it was too hot to leave them outside) which I'm sure all dog owners would very greatly appreciate. They also mentioned their most recent visit was with an elderly lady whose A/C unit went out and how they're going above and beyond to help her. I've had several issues with hvac in the past and have had to call several technicians out for quotes and troubleshooting so I can attest that my experiences with this company was not the norm where HVAC companies are concerned but everything a company should strive to be.

After speaking with him he asked to take a look at the unit/furnace and determined that we didn't have to replace the unit right away. We were able to save THOUSANDS of dollars. His communication style and knowledge of HVAC systems was clearly demonstrated in my interactions with him.
