My daughter is a gymnast and had an injury where she felt a pop in her leg. We took her to emergency and they told me and her that it was just a strain of the muscle and to let it rest. We let it go for about a week and it was getting worse. My daughter is competitive in the sport, and she wasn't able to move her leg and felt very tight. There was a lump and brusing too. We went to our family doctor after, and we were told that she had partial tear in a muscle in her leg. They suggested to go to physiotherapy and also chiropractic. We went to physiotherapy. Physiothreapy wasn't doing much, just laser and ultrasound and not even doing exercises with my daughter.. We would go twice a week to physiotherapy and weren't seeing any results. We weren't happy at the lack of treatment. So, then came in chiropractic and Dr. Reena. We decided to give it a try since my daughter is competitive and needed to make sure she could heal up for upcoming competitions. That being said, Dr. Reena was very professional and sensitive to my daughter. She was able to do an exam and diagnose the problem without being told what the doctors said. She was able to explain treatment to me and my daugther and made us feel really comfortable. Dr. Reena did chiropractic adjustments, a technique called graston and also worked with ultrasound and exercises for my daughter. Within 4 visits my daughter was feeling better and was able to move and get back to gymnastics. We also did kinesiotape.. it has now been 6 visits and my daughter is back to competition and feels great. Dr. Reena gave her exercises to help prevent further injuries and stay healthy. We are now both regular patients who go for wellness treatments to stay healthy. The bottom line is that Dr. Reena is very kind, friendly, professional, through and overall a great chiropractor. She will spend the time with you and is very caring. read more
