I'll admit, Advanced Holistic Health doesn't look like much from outside, but the interior was very nice. Not pretentious or super-upscale. This is the every-person's massage place. There's even a vinyl record player in the waiting room to ensure a jazzy waiting experience. They have several dedicated massage rooms and a large yoga area as well. The massage room was a nice size, not claustrophobic like some salons tend to be. The room temperature was a little cooler than I'd like, but the massage bed did have a heating pad that helped, and of course I was covered most of the time. Ashley performed my massage. She did a great job and understood exactly what I wanted and focused on those areas the most. She was totally understanding when I said I wasn't a talker! I'm all about falling asleep on the table. A Swedish massage is lot of rubbing, versus deep-kneading, but it was really calming. She identified some problem areas in my shoulder and gave advice on how to avoid them in the future. They offer monthly subscriptions for only $39/month for a Swedish massage. I'm thinking about signing up! I enjoyed my massage and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Building: The Ashiatsu Room is located down a hallway at the back of the "strip center" type mall. It's a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. You do not have to worry about being disturbed, or disrupted by your surroundings. Therapist: Tina is very good and caring. She takes time, if this is your first time, to explain how everything is going to work. She is very good at listening to where your problem areas are. Massage: This is great for deep tissue, and I recommend the 90 minutes. This is not the basic Asian lady walking back and forth over your back and hurting you (and possibly damaging you). Tina is very mindful of the pressure, and uses bars to hold herself up to gauge the correct pressure. She also works from many different angles including sitting, while continuing to use her feet. She does occasionally use her hands as well, but his is 90% feet. If you haven't had this type of massage, I highly recommend it... and make sure you use someone who is well trained and educated like Tina. 5 STARS

You can't go wrong with a massage from Sherry at Tranquility Therapeutics! If you call and use the…read morecode "Flash-40" you can get 3-60 minute massages for $120! That's how I got hooked, now I go every other week. Ambiance: Sherry operates out of her home, so it's very welcoming, and you're not sitting in a waiting room with a bunch of strangers wondering if that's Sherry when they walk out. She will greet you at her door, and lead you to the massage room which always smells heavenly, is dimly lit, and has the tranquil sounds of spa music permeating it. She also offers hot towels at the end of your visit, which is my fave! Services: There are variety of services she offers: Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Prenatal Massage, and Therapeutic Cupping, in 60 or 90 min sessions. Breakdown of your visit: Sherry will sit down with you prior to your first massage, discuss your issues whether it be pain, circulation, or relaxation, and you will determine together what therapy to start. Sherry has the hands of a Titan if you like a deep massage, as well as the touch of butterfly if that is what you prefer. She takes your direction and adjusts to your comfortability. I never have felt uncomfortable saying 'that's too hard' or 'lady, put some more weight in to it'. During your massage, if you want to chat, Sherry will chat, and if you want silence she'll only speak when to tell you to turn over. She takes the interaction cues from you. Sometimes I'm snoring 5 minutes in, and others we're chatting about fun places to visit. Summary: Sherry's operation is a great deal! Her approach is personal, comforting, and relaxing. You will find yourself coming back. https://www.facebook.com/falyn123/ Covid Measures: In the wake of the global pandemic, Sherry is following the State and Federal guidelines to providing a safe experience for both her and her clients. She will take your temperature before entering her home, provide hand sanitizer for you, and both you and she will wear masks.

I chose this place because of its good reviews, but my session did not live up to expectations given the cost of the treatment. This feedback is in hopes of the business to improve and for clients to also get other perspectivces. I chose the Thai massage service because of my specific pains and experience with this type of massage that focuses on my specific needs and muscle aches. I felt that those were not addressed and in hindsight, I should have been even more verbal with the masseur, Kristopher. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and assumed what he was doing was assessing my body prior to the actual therapy. First off, Kristopher was professional and kind. However, I felt his skills are too nascent and he doesn't understand the full client's needs. Below are some instances that immediately ticked me off: 1. When leaving he said he would knock prior to entering. Although I was ready, I did not hear him knock before he entered. 2. I specified on my intake form about the pain points in my neck and shoulders. He spent way too much time on my toes and only what felt like the last 10 minutes on my chief complaint. 3. He needs to be aware of his client's body. One instance, he laid my hands down with the fingers still awkwardly bent, but did not adjust me before moving onto another body section. Meaning, as a client, I lay as relaxed and motionless as possible. I expect the masseur to position me in a position of therapy. Another instance was that he sat on the palm of my hand while working on another body section; he should be aware of the client's body to not unnecessarily move or touch the body. 4. I arrived before 2pm but had to use the restroom. I then filled out paper work, connected with Kristopher. This must meant that my actual therapy did not begin until 1210p. I paid for a full 2 hours, but the massage ended at 2pm. I understand the need for business efficiency, but from a client's perspective, I felt ripped-off. 5. He did not intuitively find my areas of pain; glancing over large knot and spending too much time on unnecessary areas. He performed a percussion style where her pounded my thigh with his fists, but I'll be honest - it was not therapeutic at all. It was quite painful, but since I like pain, I decided to let him do it to both sides, before I realized it was not therapeutic. 6. Kristopher made recommendations post therapy. While this was kind, his recommendations are what I have already been doing. Maybe it's the bad experience overall, but I interpreted this as him failing to ask the right questions or failing to listen. I appreciated the cleanliness of the facility and ease of booking. Thank you for allowing me to share my feedback.
