The guide immediately asked his clients to reel up. Our fish got tangled up in one of the lines and he immediately cut that line so that we were able to get the fish in. We have finished at buoy 10 for many years and run into similar situations several time and the guide was unwilling to pull their lines from the water to help out a fellow fisherman, resulting in a lost fish. I feel that this is the one of the classiest things I have seen on the water. We have friends coming from Toronto next year and I will try to get them on his boat. He impressed me as a quality guide

Curtis didn't bat an eye and rather than canceling the trip he approached it with can do attitude "Lets GO"! We had 3 adults and 3 "kids" 10, 14, and 14. Curtis was professional, courteous, and friendly. It was a great trip. We limited out and enjoyed the day regardless of the conditions. As someone who has worked in the boat industry, I can attest to the quality, maintenance, performance, and attention to detail Curtis has put into his boat. Our Captain, Nick Hernandez was fantastic. He took us out past Buoy 10. We caught our limits of salmon, plus a bunch of mackeral (They went back in the ocean!) on the way we retrieved the 3 crab pots that Nick set on the way out. Omg!! There were 86 crabs. We kept 42 of them!!!! We got back to shore by noon. The wonderful crew at the marina cleaned and fileted the salmon and expertly vacuum sealed them at a nominal extra fee. ...and, their crew steamed all 42 crabs in this huge pot that gets lowered into the boiling water at NO CHARGE!!! We couldn't believe it. We took our haul back to where we are staying and had a huge seafood fest!!! It was a great day from start to finish! Thank you for a fabulous experience!!!!!

He gave us the option to reschedule or give it a shot knowing the bite could come back any time. We chose to reschedule for a few days out. On fishing day, there were only 4 of us anglers, Captin Jarrid, and our deck hand Ayden. Jarrid & Ayden set the trolling lins out and we hit the tuna real quick. A couple guys landed, but the bite died down. They set the trolling lines out again, switched jigs a couple times and we hit the tuna school again. It was non stop action till we finally ran out of bait. We got tons of fish. Awesome group of guys on board. Jarrid & Ayden worked real hard and this trip was more than worth it. Everyone in my family (wife and 3 adult kids) had a blast. Our server, Liliana, was quite accommodating and did a great job taking care of our food, drinks and deserts. The Manager, Cory, was welcoming as well. He brought us to our seats and also sang a song for someone who was celebrating birthday/anniversary along with our live piano player. Captain Cody did a great job navigating the boat up and down the river. The ride was smooth and enjoying. What a great experience! The food was delicious and generous portions. I had the marinated beef, while we tried the chicken and blackened steelhead. All delicious! The complimentary bread was the show stopper. It was a focaccia bread that had some thickness to the dough yet delicious and quite addicting. We had a chance to walk up to the top deck to get some fresh air. The forward part of the boat is covered which what we needed since it was sprinkling outside. The deck was wet but one of the crew members was quick to sweep the water away from the deck to avoid any accidents. We are looking forward to the cruise again but for dinner and probably not until end of spring or summer when the weather gets better. Parking garage is 1 block away. We went on a Saturday and the parking was flat rate $6 which was reasonable.

The live piano playing and singing added such a fun, lively atmosphere and it was easily one of my favorite parts of the cruise. You can go upstairs for the beautiful views of different bridges along the way with information about them being told by the crew. The time just flew by and we were able to experience Portland during the fall season in November. Overall, a must visit if you are visinting portland for the first time or been here for a while.
