The Lorick plantation home was moved from its nearby origin and lovingly restored to its original grandeur. What is always very interesting to a lot of people who have never been to plantation home is that they really weren't very large and they aren't always opulent. This is a great example of a midlands plantations for a successful family. You don't need to dedicate a lot of time for this place but if you are within reach I would definitely recommend stopping by.
