Honestly, very hard to describe the flavor outside of lightly sweet. Sorta cake like with a filling in the center. Not bad, just nondescript and somewhat bland. This is a great store with lots of pickled things, meats, cheeses, pelmeni, ice cream treats, jams, pastries, caviar, etc. I'll definitely be back to try another pastry, get a loaf of bread, pick up more candy, and try some of the meat & cheeses!
