The lady right off the bat treats me like a bother and trash. Ohhh okay that's fine busy day rather be home right? Got you. I asked when it would be ready got nothing. " we can text you." Okay sign me up. Got my number and that was it waited over 2 hours to get something any thing. So I went back in waited in line. Instead of being told anything she automatically yells " OH THIS IS THE ONE WERE HAVING TROUBLE WITH. " thanks for telling row 7 my order is an issue. Well my insurance was giving them grievances. That's okay I asked if there was anything I could do show up something else you know help. All the time mind you I have strep throat and little Timmy 3 feet down the store probably has it because I'm contagious . Well they treated me like shit cause I have a medical card. I assure you I work a 40 plus hour job. I'm not sucking off the system like they implied. I asked how much was it cash wise 44 for one bottle and the one I really needed for my 5 year old they don't have. Thank you for making me wait over 2 hours to be ran into the dirt. I wish I could of thrown a fit , no I cried quietly and left. So it gets better. I had the er call to call in some cheaper medicine. According to the nurse. She called the phone rang for a few minutes straight and then they picked up the phone and put it straight back down. The nurse was absolutely digusted by them as well. If I didn't hate walmart before and tried to avoid it I sure do now. I wish I could say this was the first time they treated me like this at the pharmacy but it's not.

I had explained to the lady pharmacy clerk that I shouldn't be billed no more than $4.00 for each of my prescription except for 1 prescription. So she resubmitted the prescriptions that weren't going through correctly again and she was able to get my prescriptions covered. If she had not tried to resubmit my prescriptions I would not have been able to pay for the prescriptions and would have to go without them. I am so very thankful that the employee was not a computer or automated system because I would have not been helped. I will keep using the Walmart Pharmacy and recommending them.

They were attempting to give you this false sense that this place is big and will have everything you can imagine. Well if that is what you are thinking all I can say is take a trip here and see if you can get everything on your shopping list. All the aisles are narrow and shorter than all other super centers you will come across. You will have to either wait to make it through an aisle or walk forever until you find one that you can go down. As for the merchandise, you will find the most popular items on the shelf, but not the one you want. I couldn't find a single item that I was looking for, but I found a lot of the Walmart branded items for those items. Only good side, self checkouts.

Coming across this locations, you would never know that it would be where it is. Right on the downtown walking mall, in a historic building, it almost surprises you when youre walking up and all of sudden- there's the CVS. At any rate, I walked in and was very impressed with the amount of items that are squeezed into this space- not just the usual drugstore items, but also foodstuffs, candies, chips, party supplies, business supplies, and the pharmacy in the rear of the building. The two issues I had were (1) the low level of customer service and (2) the pricing. The first issue is when I asked if they had a particular item - AFTER LOOKING MYSELF - the girl simply stared at me like I was a moron. Hey- sorry to bother you. I'll let you get back to pushing back your cuticles at the counter and daydreaming out the window. The second issue pertains to the prices which, even though they are a corporation - seemed really high for me in terms of other places I have been to. I don't know if rent is really high in the area, or they have to pay a hefty amount for the items - but it just felt like I was paying out of my nose for everyday items.

This place is a bad joke, like most businesses in the area…read more They refused to help me fill my prescription because the even more unprofessional and disorganized CVS pharmacy across the street wrote on my Rx that the prescribing doctor's DEA number had changed and needed to be updated, therefore they wouldn't fill it. Just as a tip, DEA numbers don't change. They stay with the doctor for the duration of their career. When I asked if they could simply look in their computer and try to see if there was an issue in their system as well, they refused to help me and even refused to let me speak to a manager. I was treated like a drug-seeking addict! It is NOT the pharmacists job to judge you based on what medications you are prescribed. I was forced to go to Walmart to get it filled, which I try to avoid at all costs, but there aren't a lot of options in Oakland, MD. The people at Walmart helped me without treating me like a criminal, and could clearly see that CVS had totally screwed me up. They said stuff like this happens all the time with them. Bottom line: Walgreens could have made well over $300 on filling my prescription, and each month subsequently if they didn't have their heads so far up their own butts! I will NEVER patronize them or the CVS across the street again!
