Coming across this locations, you would never know that it would be where it is. Right on the downtown walking mall, in a historic building, it almost surprises you when youre walking up and all of sudden- there's the CVS. At any rate, I walked in and was very impressed with the amount of items that are squeezed into this space- not just the usual drugstore items, but also foodstuffs, candies, chips, party supplies, business supplies, and the pharmacy in the rear of the building. The two issues I had were (1) the low level of customer service and (2) the pricing. The first issue is when I asked if they had a particular item - AFTER LOOKING MYSELF - the girl simply stared at me like I was a moron. Hey- sorry to bother you. I'll let you get back to pushing back your cuticles at the counter and daydreaming out the window. The second issue pertains to the prices which, even though they are a corporation - seemed really high for me in terms of other places I have been to. I don't know if rent is really high in the area, or they have to pay a hefty amount for the items - but it just felt like I was paying out of my nose for everyday items.

Very poorly run, very disorganized. Extremely rude staff. I tried to show a pharmacy tech my phone…read moreto prove that I did have an order (they were claiming it didn't exist) and she refused to look at it. When i asked her to look at it, the head pharmacist Adam Breneman snapped "if you keep shoving that phone e in her face you will be removed from the store." He escalated it from 0 to 60 in like two seconds, and when I tried to defend myself he doubled down and told me to sit down or I would be asked to leave. I was treated like a criminal, for trying to pick up Flonase. The whole staff made jabs about my income "it's over the counter if you could afford it," was said. They made me sit for an hour, didn't fill the script, and then called me afterwards and told me to find a new pharmacy. The single worst experience I've ever had just trying to pick up something simple. I have yet to get my script filled. I wish I could say this was the only instance of their incompetence and rudeness, but it looks like it's the culture that Adam has set for the entire staff. Avoid if at all possible, they have low ratings everywhere for a reason.

You can NOT get most prescriptions filled in less than 2 days which is unheard of. Constant…read morepartial refills, constant changing of manufactures of the medications and not all are equal, and constantly running back up there because for some reason they do not fill all your medications at once, and staff that will argue with you because they can not add correctly. They are not even that busy! No matter how much you communicate about a specific prescription and follow their directions you will still not get the correct one. Staff are nice, but there are some major issues with this pharmacy. Not the store itself, but the pharmacy. Even after a couple years of mistakes YEARS that is right I finally talked to the pharmacy manager and she was not the best at managerial interactions with the people that have been having the issues. She just made excuses. Acted like the she really did not care if we went to another pharmacy. Out of pure frustration I called Walgreens Corporate and they did contact the pharmacy, however issues still exist. One after the other. At this point I am leaving and looking for another pharmacy. Almost 3 years of pharmacy hell. I just will not longer give any corporation my money because they do not care!

Found out from my doctor 2 weeks later that they hadn't filled a prescription because, in their words, they "didn't know if I could afford it." So I went 2 weeks without medication I needed and got insulted on top of it. Great business practices and ethics.
