Today I tried using the Equality Act 2010 again and reasonable ajustments. And the receptionist kept talking over me deliberitly not wanting to let me use it for my health to help. So then they kept hanging the phone up, which never helped my condition so I kept phoning back. And even without answering cutting me off. I paid a lot of money to join this practice which they asked for and now they are not even answering the phone they blocked me. I'm my opnion they clearly have issues with people such as me with disabilitys. And use a protected act and you get worse treatment. I recorded the call today but also asked for their recordings under a subject access request under GDPR legislation which is free they have to give you it. Things got so bad today they made a threat against me for phoning up when they kept hanging up. So I contacted the Police for and was given a log number for any futher incidences. One manager stated to me about my treatment from the dentist. If you want to complain about treatment complain to him. I allready advised them the dentist scares me do to certain actions. So asked for ajustment for me not to deal with him directly and they ignored this as well. They tried to say he is inderpendent from them. But the fact is they have a duty of care. And they have what is legally known as a NON DELEGABLE DUTY" The amounts of money from what they state has gone right up over £1000 for me. Not the prices on their web page. You see the real side of these when you start to complain they are not so friendly then. And I am classed as disabilied.

Every time I'd passed there, I'd always wanted to go in and ask about the dental services they provide. Because I've seen signs being advertised across the Great Barr area, and I really needed a good dental surgery. I don't like dentists and I don't think many people do. So, when it came to the time when I knew I had to go, I had to make sure the surgery would be a great one. I'd heard so many good things about this surgery, so that's what convinced me to go with them. Once I registered with them, I received an exceptional service. Especially from the dentist that dealt with my dental treatment. It's great to know we have such brilliant dentists like this around which you can register with even if you don't live in that area. As it was an urgent treatment, I'm glad I went to a reputable surgery.

I would not recommend this place for apprenticeships for dental nursing. To obtain a written contract was drawn out, thankfully my college provider supported me every step of the way. I personally wouldn't recommend any family or friends to this dental surgery, staff aren't treated fairly. ( This review is my *honest* reflection) Ironically, since writing my review with prompt effect and being informed that my review had been read I had been contacted and given my payslips. That's because the quality of dentistry at Victoria Road is brilliant. How much of it I actually needed is another question, but I mistakenly paid for all the recommended treatment thinking I was only paying for one very expensive filling. But when one of my front teeth broke (long story) the filling he rebuilt it with is so realistic even I can't tell, and it's my (sort of false) tooth! It used to be NHS but turned private and I had nowhere else to go which is how I ended up seeing how the other half get their teeth looked after. On reflection, and now being back on the NHS, it seems it really is a case of getting what you pay for. Just don't expect much left over to buy any sweets. Maybe that's the trick...?

Having decided not to bother going back to James Hull after they cancelled my hygienist appointment (see review), I thought I'd give these guys a try. I kept passing it on my way to visit a friend. My husband and daughter really like it. The dentist was very kind to my daughter and she got a sticker at the end of her visit, which is what it's all about, quite frankly when you're little. My husband isn't terrified of the dentist like I am and really rates the service. He's had to go a few times and really likes the dentist he sees. It's quite old fashioned I guess and is obviously a converted house or bungalow, but it reminds me of the dentist I used as a cihild (which is a good thing!) For me, the jury's still out, but then I'm a really hard customer to please. I will go back though, eventually, so I guess that's as good a sign as any for me. Also, they accept NHS.

They are full of advice; in fact I realised that the reason I've had fillings in recent years, when I really don't eat an awful lot of sweets (except for cinema treats) is because I'm not brushing correctly. It turns out, just brushing thoroughly for 2 whole minutes twice daily and flossing does the trick. It's the first check I remember when I had not treatment, not even a little tiny filling. Mr Rooprai, who I see always remembers conversations (a bit like a hairdresser) does and we talk about me travels during the 2 minutes I have before he starts checking my teeth. He's also full of humour and they always have the radio on which relaxes me just a bit. Highly recommended if you can get in as a NHS patient.
