Since I've used the Equality Act 2010 against this practice my treatment has got worse. Their staff do not know how to treat people with disabilitys like myself. Today I tried using the Equality Act 2010 again and reasonable ajustments. And the receptionist kept talking over me deliberitly not wanting to let me use it for my health to help. So then they kept hanging the phone up, which never helped my condition so I kept phoning back. And even without answering cutting me off. I paid a lot of money to join this practice which they asked for and now they are not even answering the phone they blocked me. I'm my opnion they clearly have issues with people such as me with disabilitys. And use a protected act and you get worse treatment. I recorded the call today but also asked for their recordings under a subject access request under GDPR legislation which is free they have to give you it. Things got so bad today they made a threat against me for phoning up when they kept hanging up. So I contacted the Police for and was given a log number for any futher incidences. One manager stated to me about my treatment from the dentist. If you want to complain about treatment complain to him. I allready advised them the dentist scares me do to certain actions. So asked for ajustment for me not to deal with him directly and they ignored this as well. They tried to say he is inderpendent from them. But the fact is they have a duty of care. And they have what is legally known as a NON DELEGABLE DUTY" The amounts of money from what they state has gone right up over £1000 for me. Not the prices on their web page. You see the real side of these when you start to complain they are not so friendly then. And I am classed as disabilied. read more

I see this dental practice nearly everyday because I travel in that direction most days to Birmingham town centre. Every time I'd passed there, I'd always wanted to go in and ask about the dental services they provide. Because I've seen signs being advertised across the Great Barr area, and I really needed a good dental surgery. I don't like dentists and I don't think many people do. So, when it came to the time when I knew I had to go, I had to make sure the surgery would be a great one. I'd heard so many good things about this surgery, so that's what convinced me to go with them. Once I registered with them, I received an exceptional service. Especially from the dentist that dealt with my dental treatment. It's great to know we have such brilliant dentists like this around which you can register with even if you don't live in that area. Recently attended for emergency treatment one weekend and as a result I have decided to join this private practice. There is parking at the front or you can park at Scott Arms shopping Centre, the range of services here is really good and they are transparent about their prices. The grounds are beautiful at the back which helps to take your mind off any drilling about to take place lol. :-) A consultation is a consultation, unhurried, informative and friendly, after your treatment you sit on the sofa in the room whilst the dentist updates your records then takes time to discuss everything you need to know about your treatment and self care dental plan. There s nothing pleasant about going to dentist, but if you need it, it's always a good starting being somewhere with some good reputation and I think we are quite lucky to have this place around. I heard once dentist treatment in this country is pretty expensive as well so after leaving Brazil I was a bit undecided about where to find a good one here. This is my husband's choice as well and one of the things he highlight about this place is the fact his dentist is an Aston Villa fan. It's enough for him, but for me it's more about the excellent service they provide. I am sure I can't find some quality one nearby where I live and thank god I didn't need urgent dentist visits yet, just routine appointments so far, but I certainly recommend Scott Arms Dental Service for anyone. Had severe toothache and called up these guys. Got an appointment straight away and got my wisdom tooth removed. The dentist was really friendly and did a great job with removing my tooth. I've been scared of the dentist since I was little, it went a lot better than I expected. Glad they got to see me late at night, there was no chance that I'd wait around till the morning to see a different dentist. If you've ever had wisdom tooth pain, I'm sure you'd understand. The five star rating isn't just for the dishy dentists! Aswell as lovely dentists, this is an ultra modern dentist. It has a spacious, clean and fresh waiting room for you to await your fate! The staff have perfect white pearlies - a promotion for their whitening service no doubt. They even offer botox here now which was suprising at first but seems to have been a hit with the patients. There are plenty of dentists here so you never have to wait long to see your dentist which is always good as nobody likes to queue! The practice takes both NHS and private patients but NHS ones less frequently now. read more

Worst dentist ever. I had 4 teeth filling here. i still feel painful after this and after 3months, my fillings just broken!!!!!

Had to go for a emergency appointment with a sever toothache on Easter Sunday. The team were friendly and the service was first class. I had a exray and told I had 2 options 1 had it extracted or 2 had a root filling. I opted for the 2nd option. I told them I didn't have a dentist of my own and was intreasted in using them. They told me I would have to make a 2nd apointment for the job to be finished but when I mentioned it to the girl behind reception she was just intreasted in booking a examination appointment. After reading about what I have had done it's sounds to me as I should be going back within a couple weeks as temporary fillings don't last long. This is my only on negative I have. Otherwise yes recommend them to anyone who needs a emergency appointment. read more
