I'm still 50/50 about brown looking after my whites.
This dentist is right by front door and I didn't realise for about a year that it accepts NHS patients. From the outside, it looks very much like a private dentist, with very little to give away what it does (unless you count the teeth stickers on the window). There's certainly no big blue NHS sign to help guide you.
I've only been to this dentist once and I was very impressed by the dentist himself. He was friendly, straightforward and seemed to know exactly what he was talking about. I also got the feeling that he wanted to sort my toothache out in the best way rather than the most expensive way (he told me that the £500 worth of work my previoius dentist had recommended I have would be ineffectual).
What I found a little odd was that he was most insistent that I give my mobile number to the receptionist again after the appointment and make sure it was taken down correctly. I was then told I'd be rung with the results of an X-ray I had a few days later. No-one has ever rung. They also close for lunch, which is a nice and relaxed way of doing things. Perhaps I'll report back when (as I know will happen) I find myself in terrible pain and need to go back. read more
