They were courteous and did all they could do to get the job done in one visit. Even saying that they underestimated what it would take to get it all done and I appreciated that candor in place of overpromising. The price was fair and I recommend this company for removal. What I learned is that I should have broken the work up instead of expecting everything to be done well in one visit. Moving quickly, four bushes were removed that shouldn't have been, the grass is still overgrown (but better) and clean up was still needed. There was just no time and they had already worked a full day. Daquan said they would make up for it by giving me a free cut in the future so we'll see. Overall, good for removal and hard yard work. I'm so glad that part is over and now we replant and landscape.

For those of you who also had a bad experience with this company, make sure to file a complaint with the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs: https://njconsumeraffairs.state.nj.us/file-a-complaint/ E-Z Tree Care's proposal for my property included: (i) the removal of a tree in our back yard, (ii) removal of brush; (iii) flush cut stump; (iv) removal of all wood; and (v) grinding of stump and all visible surface roots from 3 to 5 inches below grade. On the first day, the crew did all but grinding out the stump. Joe demanded the immediate full payment and promised to come back the next day. They never came back. As a threshold matter, E-Z Tree Care's website indicates that it is licensed and insured. E-Z Tree care is not licensed and the owner won't provide a copy of his insurance policy. Also E-Z Tree Care advertises a guarantee on its website that states the company is "[t]he Most Thorough Tree Care EVER... GUARANTEED or it's FREE!". I was wholly unsatisfied with EZ Tree Care's and demanded a full refund. The owner (Joe) was extremely argumentative and began screaming that the work completed was "good enough." Joe and E-Z Tree Care, thereafter, ignored my demands for a refund and never came back to finish the job. In the end, I had to hire a real professional to come out to complete the job (to the tune of $350). Be forewarned.
