Fried chicken sando ($17) was tasty with lots of bacon and a nice buttered bun plus excellent fries. Our server, Sage (5/5), was one of the best we've had in the area especially given only 3 servers covering the lunch crowd and they were hostess and busboy as well. This place was so good we went twice on our trip to Soearfish! I had the Ribeye and the Asian zoodles (zucchini noodles). The food was amazing and the service was top notch! The restaurant and restrooms were clean and everyone had a great time. The kids menu was great and both the kids really enjoyed it. Also the cocktails were great, the local beer selection was great and we finished the evening with a lemon tres leches cake that was spot on! We were a party of 3 and ordered theThai chicken zoodle dish, Mac and Cheese with pulled pork/mozarella cheese and chile lime chicken tacos. All entrees were very good. The zoodles had a bit of a "kick" which I really enjoyed. I tasted all 3 dishes and hands down favorite was the Mac and cheese. Excellent flavors in that dish. Took the lemon leche cake with compote to go and it was ok. Probably wouldn't order that again but it was a nice dessert. Led by Rylee, our server, we had a very pleasant experience here. Tasted one of the many local brews they carry on tap and, without n appetizer we dived into dinner. The Mac n Cheese was amazing.y light and flavorful. Not the usual paste and goo. The bacon was plentiful, the cheese savory and the meal was baked in dish and served piping hot and crusty! The burger was made medium well, on the well side which was good, and very flavorful. The mayo was the right touch, and the veggies were crunchy and a great addition. Both were very good. We came here on Father's Day. Restaurant was not crowded at lunch when we arrived and were seated right away. Best thing we had was the cheese curds appetizer. The main entries were mediocre. Prices were fairly high . I had the shrimp and pasta which was very small in size equivalent to a child's portion with only 4 small shrimp. Cost was $27.00. My wife's order was not even placed with the kitchen until after our table had mentioned she had not received it yet. By then, most of us were done with our meal. She ordered the fish and chips which had no flavour at all. Overall service was slow. I do not recommend this establishment. read more

Went in for lunch with the whole family, all in all there were 8 of us. The restaurant was not crowded or busy at all. Three of us ordered bison burgers, nothing extravagant. They were ordered as medium to well done but came out of the kitchen grossly undercooked and bloody, they had been seared on the outside but raw on the inside. The other order was just a hamburger ordered well done but came just as raw. The waiter emphasized multiple times that the bison burgers were cooked to the proper temperature. He was extremely apologetic, took all 4 orders back and they newly prepared all 4 burgers cooked properly. The manager discounted the final tab as we paid. Not the worst experience ever but upsetting enough to make me wary of going back. The trade off is that it's a great location with wonderful ambience! read more

Unfortunately this visit began with frustration. We stood at the door waiting to be seated, which is fine. We were completely ignored to the point that we debated just leaving--one server in particular passed us closely several times, glaring instead of even smiling. We certainly hoped she was not going to serve us when at last we were seated. Kendall was great! I ordered the Santa Fe salad that featured Cajun chicken, and it was excellent. The ingredients were so fresh as you can see. The cilantro lover in me was pretty disappointed, though, that somehow it was forgotten. We have been dining there about once a month. We are usually fortunate enough to get the middle aged woman as a server. Otherwise just forget real service. Friday February 6 was the worst ever. Our server spent most of her time chatting with a couple at the bar and ignored us. No checking to see how we are doing. No water refills. We waited too long to get a check because of the bar chat group. And, for the first time in months, the food was substandard. Server brought regular fries instead of the sweet potato fries I had ordered but she didn't offer to correct the mistake. The regular fries were no good anyway. My buffalo burger was too dry to eat. My wife's chicken was pedestrian at best. My wife did say that the pumpkin spice soup was OK so there's that. Farmhouse next time. read more

Stopped in for an early dinner while in town - after a day of UTVing and hiking, we were hungry and tired. The menu looked good on Yelp and the reviews were positive so we gave it a try ! The Mahi Mahi tacos were so refreshing, I was worried about having the "fishy" taste but the Mahi Mahi was seasoned perfect and with a lime squeeze topped off with coleslaw, it was a meal that made you full but not overly full. The second time I went back, I decided on an internal reset and got the Superfood salad, I'm pretty sure my organs were thanking me. And of course I had to reward myself with some cheese curds. This place has the potential to be good if their cooks put more effort into making the food. My daughter and I both ordered the "not your grandmas grilled cheese" sandwich with sweet potato fries. The fries were good, but they forgot to add the cilantro and the BACON to the sandwich! We told them they forgot and they took our sandwiches back and added 2 dry, old looking pieces of bacon to each sandwich. I have eaten here twice, they messed our orders up last time as well. Rushmore, but we drove a little north from Rapid City to Spearfish and we went to Redwater Kitchen, which allows you to take your beer from Spearfish Brewing over to Redwater for your meal. I ordered a Cuban and it was amazing! They were all COVID friendly and the side salad I got with it was beautiful. Wonderful pulled pork and lovely pressed toasted bread! I used to work here. I was a prep cook. I've read the reviews. Yes, the fries are frozen fries (regular or sweets). The dressings, sauces, aiolis, guacamole and bruschetta are made fresh DAILY in house with fresh ingredients. Adam makes wonderful prime rib every Saturday. Chicken, fish, shrimp are fresh. Steaks are hand carved. Burgers made and pressed by hand, weighed on a scale. The "ketchup" some say is made there...it's Heinz, genius's. The Korean bbq sauce is actually a homemade Korean bbq sauce. And none of the servers or hosts are rude. They would NEVER tell you to go away or make you wait to be seated if the place is basically empty. The food is AMAZING! I still go there with my boys from time to time. And NOT overpriced! Go across the street to the Stadium and see how the prices compare. I highly recommend this restaurant. And if you're lucky, Sharon will be your server! She's AMAZING! read more

I chose the Nashville hot fish sandwich and was extremely disappointed. It didn't have a good crust and the flavor was more blackened than nash hot! However, the actual fish was cooked perfectly!
