My company had pizza and salad delivered to the office. I enjoyed the sausage pizza the most. The sausage had a subtle kick to it but not overwhelming. The salad was nothing special just lettuce, tomato, parmesan cheese and olives. I opted for the Italian dressing which tasted like bottled dressing. We swung by Red Savoy Pizza to it out! They had friendly service with takeout or sit down options. They serve beer and you can order pizza. We ordered a large pepperoni and an order of cheese bread. It was fabulous. There pizza is really good. As a side note due to COVid you have to buy your water. They don't have glasses of water if you dine in. We won the pull tab pizza for a year. However, it has been nothing but problems getting a free pizza, we are told first we had to down load app to use. Then we can only order at store and then it's only for one large cheese pizza but thats not what tab says so disappointed it turned me off from red savoy. Took the Yelp advice after driving 700 miles today. Was in no mood to drive and find dinner - so pizza it is. Ordered a large pizza (just before 5) for the special and it arrived 15 minutes earlier than the 40 min estimate. Ordered thin crust, very good. Some people who love lots of cheese would rave about it, but I found it a bit heavy and just ate the edges. Crust and sauce were great. The Sausage had a little bite and you can tell it was homemade. It was really cold outside when I checked into my hotel, so I didn't want to go put again. After checking Yelp, the reviews were good, and it was only a few miles away, so I gave it a shot. I'm glad I did. I got the supreme, minus green olives, as I find them too salty. Great old school thin crust, with great sausage and other toppings. I'd guess it's pretty crisp when ordered to eat there, but the middle gets kind of soft in the middle when delivered. I don't know what makes it 'Sota style, as I've had this kind of pizza before in other states, but I loved it nonetheless. Kind of spendy for delivery, as it was over $21 for a 10", without the tip, but I do have a snack for later. The 10" is enough for two though. Will definitely order again when I'm in town and in the mood for pizza. read more

Stopped in the Edina location tonight with mother and niece. The hostess was super friendly. They don't have a lot of tables, but we opted to sit at the counter. We found it very comfortable and were able to ask the hostess a bunch of questions about the place. I never realized they were in this convenient location right off Hwy 100 & 77th Street for 8 years! We ordered a large pepperoni, and a small sausage, hamburger with sauer kraut. They were thin crispy crusts with lots of toppings and cheese. We thought they were great! Even though this is a franchise, and isn't attached to a smoky bar like the original in St. Paul, it still features the classic, super-cheesy pizza and tangy sauce. You can order in and eat in the small tidy restaurant located just east of Hwy 100 on 77th street or call ahead for carry out. We've already carried out a couple of times since they opened and had them deliver another time or two. They also sell frozen pies in a case just inside the door, but I just don't think the home oven does them justice. So happy to have quality pizza on this side of the river for a change.
