Ordered a pizza for delivery. Vegetable hold them mushrooms, thick crust (not pan). 14"/$30 with tip. Ordering process was easy. Time of delivery was quick, especially for a Saturday night. I read some reviews Bland is the best word to describe the pizza. Bland veggies, bland crust, bland sauce. If you are familiar with Pizza places, you may understand this reference: Savoy sauce is intense/strong; Pizza Man is medium, Punch is mild. This is bland. My 1st Yelp Review but I plan on reviewing any place I eat as I feel it's important. After all, I don't eat out a lot, money is tight for everyone. I ordered an hour and a half ago and just called to see if they actually received my online order. After sitting on hold a few minutes before even getting a hello, they said my pizza was just put in the oven. It will be well over 2 hours before I get it. Update: It is now close to 2.5 hours and I called again. The store says the pizza left a while ago but they have no control over when the driver delivers the pizza. The store is 6 minutes from our home. Almost 3 hours since I ordered, the pizza was delivered. Luke warm. It actually tastes pretty good. Big bubble on a quarter of the pizza with minimal toppings. Bottom is burnt. Good taste, but probably won't ever order from them again. Not worth the price and 3 hour wait, even if it is just down the road. Will order from Carbones a little further down the road if I want to spend that much on a pizza again. It won't take as long to receive. read more

I really enjoyed coming here. I like how they are only open in the evenings, which makes me want to crave their pizza more. Of course when I was their I have say that I really enjoyed the small Hawaiian pizza, which was ready in only 15-20 minutes. Their pizza is really good to the bite, especially their crust. Best pizza around! I always get there large thin crust house special pizza and that satisfies my pizza cravings! It's a great dish to help prevent a nasty hangover too! I was hoping this pizza was going to be better than it was. I live very close and this was my first time trying Rocco's Pizza. The service was excellent and the employees were very friend. My only complaint was the pizza wasn't bad and it wasn't good. I've had Freschetta pizza at home that had more flavor. I ordered a thin crust pepperoni pizza and it was "ok" nothing special and fairly bland in taste. The thin crust was rather thick. I'd suggest ordering extra thin, if that's your taste. Honestly, wouldn't go back again. The price was a little bit high already. I'd suggest ordering pizza from Pizza T in Lino Lakes or Carbone's Pizza down the road. The pizza is much better and ingredients better at their competitors. read more

Pizza was good but the sauce was bland. Pizza fries where amazing. Probably the only thing I'd reorder are the fries. Sad because I've had the maple wood locations food and it is miles ahead of this place. Delivery driver was also a weirdo. Argued with my dog and actually barked back at him. 3 stars from me. This is basically Lotzza Motzza (a locally made frozen pizza for those who didn't know) for triple the price. That doesn't automatically make it a bad or low quality pizza, it's just that it taste the same, looks the same, and reminds me of a frozen pizza as opposed to being comparable to other local pizza chains. Definitely better than say Little Caesar's, but not by the margin the price would indicate. I would avoid their boneless wings. $9 for what is very much like what you'd find in the frozen food section at a grocery store- small fried breast pieces slathered in BBQ sauce, which was unimpressive in both quality and quantity- maybe 6oz in all. Other annoyances include their coupons and over all aforementioned lack of value. I'd categorize them as a convenience rather than a craving. You can take a frozen pizza, add extra cheese, and you have the same basic formula. Amazing on how doubling up on cheese can change ones perception. Oh, and that tip jar on the counter- kinda tacky. I tip for deliveries, not for something I pick up myself. read more

My family and I returned after over 2yrs of swearing to never go back--spent over $30 on burnt pizza and pizza fries--and it was SO bad we stopped ordering from this location. However recently my kids requested it, asking "why haven't we had that in so long?" After explaining what happened my 9yo daughter begged me to give them another chance. I relented and am SO glad I did. That was the BEST pizza and fries we've ever gotten from any Rocco's (my husband actually worked at the Little Canada location for a year) and the cooks and line workers were ALL women, which was refreshing! The only guys were the 2 delivery drivers. The food was cooked to perfection and the cashier girl was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this location (but not all Rocco's locations) to anyone who wants quality product but is willing to pay a little more for it. But with coupons (which they ALWAYS have) it's comparable to any other pizza chain. read more

Last pie I had was more bland than ever before. You should never have to add salt to a pizza, but that's exactly what it needed to bring it to life. They seem to be heading further down the "kid-friendly" or "Minnesota nice" path, but if that's what their customers like then more power to 'em. read more

Here's my concern. In judging the book by its cover - the windows, entry doors, mirror door to food prep area -really dirty with greasy finger prints and dirt. The ceiling tile lights are full of dead bugs. The pizza artist was not using plastic/vinyl gloves - I called him out on this - stated " we wash our hands regularly. So look, I am not a germ freak, but cleanliness speaks volumes about how a business cares about its quality. Period. The pizza presentation looked good - appealing. I agree with Jared K's comment - sauce is a bit bland - no taste bud pop - add sugar or some vinegar to bring tomato flavor out. Teach your team about GMP/FDA cleaning procedure's -yikes! read more

Great pizza with old style cooking. I found this place on Orgadeal and asked for a discount for a first time visit. No response but I went anyways and liked this place although, I like most pizza places. Price was a littler higher than i would have liked but it was good food. Ordering a pizza on Rocco's website is a joke! First, it doesn't work with a IPad. Second, I placed my order and followed all directions (why do I have to provide my address if I'm picking it up and paying on-line with a credit card?), including waiting until the green symbol appeared indicating that my order had been processed. I drove the 10 minutes to the Shoreview location to get my pizza only to be told that my order and just then appeared on their system, and it would be another 10 minutes until my pizza would be ready. Silly me, thinking that by ordering on-line and specifying a pickup time that my pizza would actually be ready when I arrived. While killing time waiting for my pizza, I read their menu which sets that one gets a 20% discount by ordering online. I did the math for my order and (surprise, surprise) I didn't get a 20% discount. When I got my pizza, I asked for a receipt and was told they couldn't print one for online credit card orders. Rocco - get your act together! Your crappy online process has ensured that this customer will never order from you again - online or in person. read more

Absolutely the WORST pizza. Sausage had no flavor, house special was anything but, cheese "bread" was served with cold dipping sauce. Will never order from there again. Dont know how they could have nore than one restaurant. read more
