Well I am delighted to be the first to review Casey's Auto Repair. I inherited a 1962 Corvette from…read moremy parents when my Father passed away. I was in town staying at my Father's place and" googled" corvette repair shops. Murphy's popped up to my surprise. I was pretty surprised to find anyone that was familiar with corvettes up here in Prescott. I called and talked to Lewis, his employee and made an appointment to bring the car in for a service. upon arriving the following day I met Casey and immediately had a good feeling about the guy. I told him my concerns about the car and gave him a brief history of the work already done on the car. Casey seemed to know what he was doing so I left the car my Father bought my Mother brand new in 1962 with a stranger. When we went in the office he wrote down my name and phone number and I gave him the keys and that was that. I forgot he gave me a ride home. That doesn't happen where I come from. I called the next day and the car was ready to go. He came and picked me up and we went back to his shop. He explained everything he had done in great detail and then gave me the bill. I never ask his hourly labor rate as I just had a good feeling about him as I said earlier. I felt the bill was fair especially since I came away feeling like I had really met a knowledgable guy. I was shocked at how much better the car ran after the service. The next day I drove buy and stopped just to tell him everything was great. If you have a classic car that you want to get some some one to work on that is knowledgable and caring I recommend Casey highly. He struck me as an honest, no BS, knowledgable mechanical guy. He also was a bull rider for many years like my own Uncle and Grandfather were as well. I guess what I am trying to say is that he is quite a character. Go see for yourself.

After waiting several days and paying over $800, I was told it was fixed. I wasn't. I called and left a message but never heard back from them. Needless to say, I will not be using them again. I then took it in to Casey's and he promised to look at it that day. The next morning, Casey called and said it was ready to be picked up. His pricing was very reasonable. I've been driving around town ever since. Thanks Casey! my new go to auto mechanic.

After further review my AC issue was not what they initially thought and they made it right and fixed it at no extra cost. They also fixed the tailgate that was initially overlooked. I do appreciate the attention he gave to making it right. I'm grateful for Jason and his efforts to do right by the customer. Good job! You earned my respect.

For the record, it is a bus stop. It's ridiculous that I can't park for literally five minutes to make sure my kids get on the bus safely, especially when the shop doesn't even open until 8 AM. There certainly wasn't a line out the door waiting to get in, and judging by other Yelp reviews, there likely won't be. Instead of being rude to parents trying to keep their kids safe, maybe focus on customer service -- it seems like that's already an issue here. If you just can't handle that the bus stop is in front of your business at 6:55am, I suggest you call the school transportation system and complain instead of being a crab.
