Trusted professionals all the way!…read more We had a leak in our downstairs bathroom which was clearly caused by the master shower directly upstairs. We initially called in another plumber, and he and his boss felt very strongly that a hairline crack in the pan of our master shower was causing the issue. They came back with an estimate of $7,000 to redo the entire master shower (and vanity). What? We called Bommer Plumbing for a second opinion and boy, are we glad we did. Jim arrived right on time and he worked with my husband and me to troubleshoot the leak. He spent close to 90 minutes at our place. Long story short, the culprit of the leak was worn caulk along the top of of the master shower basin, NOT a hairline crack. We all cheered when the source was found! We saved thousands of dollars with this (accurate) diagnosis. And he even pointed out a potential issue with the electric source for our downstairs bathroom fan. Jim was knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and hilarious. We were cracking jokes like old buds. He was awesome! And office staff is super friendly. They keep you apprised of your plumber's whereabouts on the day of your appointment. They even send a picture of your plumber so you know what they look like ahead of time. This was a great touch and much appreciated, as you can never be too careful these days. I cannot recommend this company enough. Of course, we close on the house and it happens again, but since it was after closing they could make their dollar off of us and spare their partner, so now they actually do due diligence to find the cause this time which they knew all along. Our sewer line was old and rotted, and this would affect every sink/toilet/shower in our house if not fixed. They assured us insurance will cover this and gave us a $6000 estimate. Insurance denied the claim because this was caught during inspection and they did nothing at that time despite knowing something big was wrong. As a first time home buyer I feel taken advantage of. They do not have their clients best interest in mind and only looking to make a buck of of you. Jason came off as trusting and relatable but we can see now that was a facade.

Valentine's Day did not go as planned for us this year. With it being a holiday weekend, most plumbers either weren't available or wanted nearly $300 just to show up without even guaranteeing any work. After calling around, we were referred to Ironside Plumbing & Heating, and I'm incredibly grateful we were. The technician arrived promptly, was professional from the moment he walked in, and immediately assessed the problem. He explained everything clearly, got right to work, and was able to snake the sewer line to clear the blockage. Considering the urgency and the holiday weekend, the price -- around $400 -- was more than fair, especially compared to what others were quoting. What stood out most was his professionalism, courtesy, and genuine expertise. He turned a stressful, disgusting, and time‑sensitive situation into something manageable, and we couldn't be more appreciative. We are extremely pleased with the service we received and would highly recommend Ironside Plumbing & Heating to anyone in need of reliable, honest, and skilled plumbing work.
