Stopped on a roadtrip for Pizza. The restaurant was very busy yet we were greeted right away. Service was exceptional, pizza came out quickly, and beverages were refilled promptly. Pizza was very good. Ingredients were fresh and place is cute. Friday nights include music upstairs and we were able to enjoy a talented singer while we enjoyed pizza in the downstairs restaurant. Redpoint has a full menu with pasta, sandwiches, etc. If you are looking for a great spot to relax and grab good, solid food, this is it. read more

A-MA-ZING. That's what this place is. We pass by this non-assuming restaurant at last 4 times a week and never gave it much thought. Then a neighbor invited us to dinner and took us here, and now we can't stop going here! There are SO many things on their menu that we can't wait to try. So far, we have had the following: Let me start with dessert, the Creme Brulé is to die for, we get it every single time if there's any still available. We buy it when we walk in the door, before dinner, because it might be gone before we're done eating. Yes sir, it's that good. Now on to what we've had so far. The Apple Pecan salad is a must try, just order the dressing on the side and go sparingly so it doesn't overpower the rest of the awesome ingredients like fuji apples, candied pecans and feta cheese (yum, yum, yummy). The first thing I ate there was the Marge-a-rita, made into a calzone, it was heaven. Made with all fresh ingredients and a homemade marinara served on the side. I'm not normally a red sauce / marinara person but I took the rest of it home, I certainly wasn't going to leave it there! My husband had the Deluxe pizza and said it was fantastic. And of course we had the Creme Brulé for dessert. That Friday, we took our friends out for dinner and brought them here. This time we ordered 4 Brulés before heading upstairs for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised that they had live music up there. A singer named Robert Lee played guitar and harmonica and sang everything from country to Pink Floyd to Fleetwood Mac. He had a beautiful voice and was very entertaining. We will definitely be looking to see him play again. This time I had the Apple Pecan salad, of course, and the Salsa Blanc pizza with sweet Italian sausage made into a calzone. This was an excellent pizza EXCEPT they forgot the sausage and there was at least 20 big cloves of roasted garlic packed into that calzone. WAY too much, if you ask me. One of our friends had the Grilled Deluxe Cheese Melt and he said it was amazing. I give this place 5 stars for delicious, fresh ingredients, the servers are extremely friendly and we got our food fairly quickly. The only down sides, in my opinion, is since it's a small venue it can get really loud, and the service on Friday night left us a little disappointed. Again, our order was a little messed up and our server (who I believe was the manager) should stick to managing. He was super nice but he had a lot of irons in the fire and waiting tables is not what he should be doing. Other than that, we WILL be going back because there are so many more items on their menu that I can't wait to try. read more

We were driving from Nashville down to Chattanooga, and my cousin was feeling pizza. I did a quick Yelp search and came across the Redpoint Inn. The reviews were great, so we gave it a shot. Super impressed from start to finish!!! House made salad dresssings, cold, crisp lettuce, amazing pizza & tasty sandwiches! We didn't order dessert, but the pies were house made too! Oh my gosh, what a treat! We were at Foster Falls on a climbing trip when someone there recommended that we try this place out for dinner. I love post-climbing pizza. They mentioned that the owner used to climb and wanted to open a pizza place near the climbing area. It's about a 15 minute drive from the climbing area to this place. We weren't sure about the parking situation -- seems like there is parking in front of the restaurant. It was reasonably quiet on a Friday evening. I think that they normally have live music on Fridays but it was unfortunately cancelled the day that we were there. They told us that we could sit anywhere downstairs or upstairs. The servers were all friendly and let us taste the beers, as we were quite indecisive on which beer we wanted to get. They have pastas, calzones, etc, but we came for the pizzas! Wow, they have some great combinations. We ended up getting one with meat AND veggies. Comes with plenty of toppings. Pizza crust is hearty i.e., it can handle all of the cheese and toppings, but still fluffy. I loved the flavor of the sauce too. The owner came out to talk to us too! He's really friendly. Explained to us that he's living his dream right now - to open a pizza spot. He left his corporate job, went to pizza school, then came back to open this spot, inspired by Miguel's Pizza at the Red River Gorge. He's the Miguel of Tennessee! After, we went upstairs. Don't sleep on the upstairs area! They have a fireplace and cozy couches, as well as a small gear shop and some climbing guidebooks. i'm so glad that we found this spot -- we hope to be back the next time we head to Foster Falls to climb! read more

Our family friend took us here for a quick bite. There were so many options, but the Buffalo chicken pansoli sounded amazing. I ordered this with some coffee (I was very tired). We had a good time and the staff was very kind. The environment was nice but didn't have a whole lot of life too it, it still had character though. I think of this review with a full stomach as I ate the whole thing once it arrived. Could not stop myself from taking too big of bites. read more

We are looking to move to Jasper, TN and was checking out this quaint town. We saw the Redpoint Inn and read their reviews. So glad we dined here...the hand tossed pizza was excellent and the best service. We sat on the main floor and decided to check out the upstairs which was nice and cozy. They also have a nice selection of coffee drinks. When we move this will be a frequent go to for us. I'm hopeful they will carry some teas ,green and herbal. read more

Variable at best! Over last year, I've had good pizza, great salads and typically mediocre service at best. A gem in Jasper, TN. This two story restaurant doubles as a store for rock climbers featuring different types of gear. The food was very good and the service was great. The owner paid us a warm welcome and explained that his wife comes and bakes her goods at night and they don't make it past lunch the next day! I recommend the meatballs as an appetizer, and the Delux pizza and Meatball sub as Entrées. The cinnamon roll was amazing, and could pose a threat to the Pillsbury Dough boy himself! read more

Redpoint catered my husband's recent birthday party and I can't recommend them more highly. The communications leading up to the party were easy and thorough, the crew arrived and set up everything perfectly, but most importantly: The food was AMAZING. Fresh, homemade salad dressings, beautiful pastas and meatballs, grilled shrimp on ice--the whole spread was just fantastic. Several guests asked for Redpoint's contact info, and I think everyone had seconds. We recommend the feta dip, Greek salad (so good!), the turkey apple and Brie sandwich, the deluxe grilled cheese (o.m.g.), and do not sleep on the cinnamon rolls. Absolutely worth it. This place is Awesome!!! I ordered a pizza while driving and just told them I wanted something like a "supreme". They chose pepperoni, sausage, onions, mushrooms, and black olives for it. When I got home and saw it I was thinking to myself 'eh, this might suck' only because I don't like black olives or mushrooms all that much, but boy was I wrong!!! I have eaten 4 slices and that NEVER happens. I also got the cheesecake and HOLY MOTHER OF WHOMEVER... it's a 10/10... like I can't even explain. The texture of the cream cheese part is absolutely perfect and instead of graham cracker crust, it's like a sponge cake? It. Is. To. Die. For!!!! I've also had the Creme Brûlée and it is equally as delicious!! My husband and I plan to make the drive down again tomorrow because I ate all the cheesecake before he was able to try it. The service at this establishment was terrible. From getting our drinks, to the ordering process, to incorrect orders, burnt food, hair in food, and on. It was all terrible. I got my first drink refill after 1 hour of being there and asking 3 times. Other drinks were brought out 1 by 1 and I continued to ask with no refill in site. Other people at my table get refills before me. There was a hair in the fried mushrooms that we didn't complain about because it was early in the disaster. Chicken on my salad was cold (which they removed, said it was supposed to be that way) and an entire large pizza was burnt. They took it off the ticket and we just got a small to go that we paid for. The small that was brought out was smaller than a personal pan. One waitress that was managing our table and her own was ok and tried to be helpful, the actual waitress we had was horrible. She's the one that took 30 minutes to take our order and then an hour to initiate refills. All while looking very unkempt with her mouth hanging wide open and her tongue hanging out. The chicken wings we got and some of the other food was good. Maybe this was just a bad time to come but we won't be back. I never make reviews on a place but this one warranted it. Let me add that a Caesar Salad was sat down at our table that wasn't ours. The waitress walked off. When I came back I told her it wasn't ours. She took it from me and then took it to the table it belonged to. I could have done anything to that salad before it was took to the correct person. read more

A very unassuming treasure. Food was outstanding; Clayton's service great but not smothering; beer and wine selection not huge but very solid. We had the stuffed mushroom appetizer, a calzone and a small pizza. All we're done very well, and presented quickly.
