Journal Inquirer - Sad to see this consistent wet delivery!!

I greatly appreciate having a an actual paper to read (although it is to politically biased and…read moreshould do much better reporting facts not opinion).

This newspaper is /was an evening paper. Now it is a two day old news/ newspaper. It's delivered by…read morethe USPS, so if it's a holiday for them you get no paper. No credit, just no paper. The next edition you get will be three day old news. The paper has shrunk from what it used to be and the sports page is a joke. Two day old scores and usually no mention of Nascar races. There was a part where it told you the upcoming baseball or what season sports is on, time and day for the week. They shrunk this feature so small it is almost impossible to read. One issue last week had seven pages where they forgot to put ink in the printer because the pages were almost blank. I only get this paper because I have been a subscriber for over 50 years. Their reign is soon to end. Today I got a bill where the price has gone up eleven dollars. No warning ,no notice, nothing except a bill. Just pay up and shut up. The paper used to be pretty good when Alma Ellis ran it now since Hearst took over it's a joke. Lately the paper is 40 pages, dowm from the usual 44. Heck, they cant even fold the paper properly. It's never evenly folded down the middle. Today I called to ask about my bill and was put on hold for 7 minutes, then the line went to a busy signal and then went dead. I called again and the message said the office was closed. Do yourself a favor and save your money this paper is on its last leg and will be gone soon.

The paper's fine. I'm more partial to my home town's flyer, seeing that's the only information I…read morecan't easily find online. Still, no complaints there. Where my patronage and respect is lost is the customer service. I was contacted about an outstanding balance about half a year after subscribing initially, for a year's subscription, mind you. They claimed I had renewed my subscription a few months earlier. I calmly informed them when I had subscribed and that I was willing to submit proof if necessary, but I would not pay the balance. They told me it would be removed and didn't say another word. Over the past two months I've been calling them back regularly on this matter, and although every single person has assured me the issue has been resolved, it in fact has not been. More recently I was contacted by a collections agency regarding the balance. I was furious, to say the least, and threatened legal action. Finally after a couple more calls I got through to a supervisor, and they seemed to handle the situation, as I finally have no balance at the agency either. I've also asked them to cancel my subscription, as I'm outside of the US this year. Apparently it has been, yet the paper still arrives, so I'm reasonably skeptical. The absolute incompetence of every single customer service representative I've spoken to is astounding. Don't get mixed up with these clowns. If you really love getting the paper, just pick it up at a gas station. If you have a subscription and run into the same situation as me, I wouldn't be as patient as I was with this. Go straight to the supervisor. They might be your only hope.

the courant digital and customer service is absolutely the worst.First complaint was both times I…read morecontacted customer service,I could barely understand the person at the other end, and I am sure a great deal was lost in translation.I was unable to access the digital edition for 2 months but was charged every month for it, was never given an adjustment.I cancelled my account, and then shortly afterward jumped on a deal for the next year when they tried to get me back as a customer. The price is right, but I still have the same problem accessing the digital edition, although I gain access half the time, the other half of the time I am denied access. Their customer service is a joke and so is this newspaper. If they offer you a special introductory rate, cancel after the period expires.

I asked them to design the writing based on my inputs and their designer knocked it out of the park! When my team saw them they said they were really cool, high praise from teenagers. Fair pricing and great customer service, I'll definitely be using them again! Update- used them again this year and still a 5 star business! Quick turn around, great communication. I'll see you next season!

Brace yourself: wedding reviews of coming…read more For the skimmers: Pros 1. Prices extremely reasonable 2. Advice is sound; you can trust their judgment 3. Product and commitment to a solid product is top shelf. 4. tons of stock examples for people to peruse; good if you want to choose from standard invites Con 1. Not ideal for "tactile" shoppers who have their own vision of what they want. They rely a lot on books of "examples" for customers to make selections; it's great for people who are ok with standard invites. I came in with a proof from a designer and wanted to select stationary. All the stock is kept in the back. This con is only a slight issue for my specific situation and luckily, the staff made really good suggestions and brought out a stationary I liked. I am a very tactile shopper, I like to touch and hold up colors next to each other. Budget Printers handled the printing of nearly all of my wedding stationary. They began with turning a digital proof from a local artist into my lovely invitations and RSVP cards. They came out AMAZING. I delegated my Wedding Advice Mad Lib card to them, they checked the internet and found all the specs to finish the job. They came out great. They altered a free "guest book" with digital imaging. I found a great option for a "coloring book" style guestbook. Guests color themselves in and sign. The image was free and only had 100 tiny people to color in. I had 115 guests coming, Budget seamlessly altered the image to add more people. Overall, I could not have asked for more.
