We hired cornerstone fence to do both projects and we are extremely pleased with the results. The owner (Jason) bid the job and was very Helpful explaining all the available options, and in designing and building the deck and the fence that would match what we had in mind. He made suggestions to improve durability and aesthetics which we incorporated, and it turned out far better than we expected. We went with a composite deck and a Cedar fence. The transformation took approximately 4 weeks to complete, we watched every day as they deconstructed the old and then built the new. They cut no corners and everything was done to ensure a long life for the deck and fence. Cornerstone's attention to quality and to detail was impressive to watch. from the footing system they used to anchor the deck, to the postmaster fence posts and horizontal cedar planking, they build their projects to last. They did a terrific job, the crew was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Jason was on site everyday and communicated with us daily to see if we had questions or concerns. If you need a new deck or new fence call Cornerstone Fence, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Cornerstone, we love our new deck and fence.

They were very professional and very nice. The communication process was excellent. They answered ALL the questions we had and brought issues they came across to us immediately. They had to replace a lot of the wood boards and even noticed that our bathroom fan exhaust wasn't hooked up in the attic. They showed me everything so I could see what was wrong. Especially since I was bed ridden from a surgery. So seeing the pictures was fantastic! They asked if I would like them to resolve the issue with all the wood and the vent. Asked if would I like the vent vented properly out the roof. Of course I said YES PLEASE! That is above and beyond their duties but they are so nice and thorough that they didn't want my wood ruined again. They cleaned up everything like they were never there! Absolutely will be recommending them to everyone! Thank you to everyone that worked with us!

He and his crew came in and did a fantastic job removing the tree and cleaning up afterward. Then just this last weekend amidst all the straight line winds and micro bursts that plagued Rockford last weekend I had a very large pine tree blow down on my garage. I called late on a Saturday leaving a message not expecting to hear from anyone until Monday. Tony called me back Saturday night to touch base. He came out on Sunday and gave me an estimate the same day. We had to wait to move a dumpster out of my driveway so his equipment could get in to do the job. As soon as it was moved he was there the next day with his crew. He gave me an estimate and went over what I wanted and what the estimate covered. He told me what additional he could do and how much extra it would cost if I wanted it. (IE Stump grinding vs bare minimal tree removal) They were fast. They were professional. I was so happy when they put my fence in one day. It's beautiful and every time I look out the window and see my dogs playing safely, I smile. The fence is sturdy, beautiful and secure. I absolutely love it. They even came back and replaced the gate latches when there was a bit of a problem. It works perfectly now and I am totally happy with the work. I am absolutely certain this fence will last many years. It is so strong and sturdy. Made the proper way, not like the cheap junk that is sold pre-made. They saved me money by joining up with my neighbor's fence, and they did it in such an ingenious way. In addition, they were able to make me a drive through gate for the parking pad, which I so nice. I love the look of my new fence and also the sturdiness. This fence isn't going anywhere.
