I saw a vast difference in my child once he started at soar - he became a much more outgoing child and his grades skyrocketed. My youngest has been at soar since kindergarten and is now in 8th grade, his grades are awesome and he never wants to miss school (he's really hoping for perfect attendance this year). I have referred friends, coworkers and family to soar. My co-worker moved her daughter to soar for her 7th grade year this year and said that she has also seen such a dramatic difference in her daughter's grades as well as her attitude. Since then, I've toured many school campuses to enroll her, and I can confidently say that VPS offers an exceptional academic program along with outstanding after-school options. One thing that really stood out to me was the weekly presentations my daughter did. I believe they were based on alphabet items, though I may be mistaken. Regardless, these presentations were wonderful for building confidence and public-speaking skills at an early age. The homework reinforced what the children learned in class, and the at-home projects helped them feel proud and capable just like the "big kids." The after-school programs are excellent. My daughter did imagination station, sprout and blossom, violin lessons, and homework club. It provides strong academic structure while also teaching manners, confidence, and responsibility. The staff is wonderful and truly knows every child. The only downside I experienced was when I requested a transcript for my child while applying to a new schools. I was told that transcripts were not available for those grades. I had asked if they could write a letter indicating they don't have transcripts or to create in for me but neither was done. After that, communication seemed to drop off, and it felt as though we were no longer a priority once we had left the school. Overall, I would still recommend VPS without hesitation. The tuition is also very reasonable for an IB and private school. I truly wish we could return to VPS or find another school just like it.

However, I do have issues with one of the teachers there Mr Morrison. I haVe a child who is ADHD & has always needed a little more extra time finishing and concentrating. Well knowing online schooling hasn't been easy for any child now that my child is forced to sit for hours on his computer makes it that much worse. Mr. Morrison knowing my child has ADHD has had no patience not only for my child but for many other students in his class and I am able to say this because I have witnessed him myself yelling and being extremely rude to the other children with no remorse!!!!! He's even went to the extent of making one of the little girls in his class cry. It has made me so angry with many attempts to give him chances but I've gotten to the point where I am now obligated to change my child's school where they will give him respect and the extra attention for his needs. Second field trip with our high school seniors…read more A new Applied Technology building is under construction which will house their automotive and aeronautics classes. For the second time I missed the Culinary Arts dining. Hopefully I get to experience this ! Campus grounds are kept clean. Cafeteria serves decent menu choice of hot sandwiches snd snacks. I ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich... I was so famished from the tour that I was able to finish the whole sandwich with a side of fries. I also had the chance to visit the campus store and purchased a college shirt. We visited the Art Gallery and HighTech Center providing student accessibility services. Students got brochures on the field of their interest. We were toured at the automotive and aeronautics shops. They are waiting for you! Yes you.

They had a summer Coyote Blue program which our daughter got to go to. It's to introduce high-school students to University life! Such a wonderful program! She took Kine2050 and the professor of this course was awesome! She was super friendly and very informative. Our daughter received 4 college units for this course. She was also able to live on campus in the dorms for a week. She had such a great time! I'd most definitely recommend this University!

I have come back twice for POW WOW's and it felt great to not only be back at the campus but to celebrate my culture with my family. Though it was a very hot day, there was a filtered water station, as you walked in, where you could get water/refill your bottle, and many porta potty's available throughout the area. Everything was organized and, of course there were rules, but security let you enjoy your views and weren't overly overbearing. Plenty of vendors, food and drink places. It was a wonderful day and I look forward to coming back!

Graduated from here yesterday and they made it really nice for us graduates. They had food, water,…read moretons of supplies even down to curling irons and makeup for us. Saw a few staff members helping curl hair and even helping with putting hats on. My experience here was nothing short of amazing. It was a bitter sweet moment leaving. I highly recommend starting your schooling journey here. I loved the diversity. Loved all the people I met here from all different ages and backgrounds. The campus is clean and beautiful. I will be sure to start my kids off here at Crafton when their time comes. I'm going to miss all the amazing professors especially Dr. Brink and Dr. Pfahler.
