I only post reviews for really good, or really bad service. These guys are in the really GOOD category. The original sliding screen door to my patio needed to be replaced. I had some very specific requirements. I needed to have a grate on one side to protect it from my dogs jumping on the screen, and I need to be able to latch/unlatch it from either side, and I needed it to slide easily even when people were rough with it. They came to my home, measured, ordered the door with my specs. They rejected the first door because the manufacturer didn't meet all of my specs. They reordered, and once received, Tom and Jesse installed it. During a weekend party the door came off its track (rough treatment). I called and reported the issue, expecting an argument. I didn't get one. Rosa and Esther work the front desk ... great customer service. They reordered the door again, adjusting their specs slightly and a few days later, came back to install the upgraded door, which is now perfect. Their persistence to make the job perfect has earned all my future business. I got an outstanding product and service, at a reasonable price. read more

I contacted Redlands Glass to reinstall an almost new glass door in my super. The previous installers installed it PER MY INSTRUCTIONS on the wrong side of the shower opening, making getting in to the shower an obstacle course. I contacted the original installer but they refused to change it. Also contacted another glass company and they too refused too f correct someone else's work. Received a text at 3:15pm from my rental tenant notifying me that a bedroom window had spontaneously broken. The photos showed a big chunk gone. I don't live in the area and being so late in the day there wasn't much time to figure something out for my tenants before nightfall when the cold and rain would arrive. I took a chance and called Redlands Glass and within one hour they went to the home and installed a temporary patch-sheet of glass to normalize things until the permanent replacement arrives in about a week. Customer service rep Esther was fantastic-- she was friendly, knowledgeable, and explained everything in detail. Horrible customer service. I had a double glass layer sliding door that needed to be repaired. Only the outter layer glass was damaged and needed to be fixed. The inner layer which had grids on it was fine. The repair man came, assessed and measured everything prior to the repair. The repair man asked if I wanted to order new grids. From my understanding at the time, I didnt need new grids because the grids on the inner layer glass was just fine. I pay a deposit and a few days later, the repair man comes to do the work and replaces BOTH layers of glass... leaving no grids at all. I questioned the man and he explained to me that I did not order new grids. I agreed and told him that I thought that he was only going to fix the outter layer of glass. He explained to me that wasn't the way insulation works and that both layers of glass had to be changed... I did not know that prior to the repair nor did the company explain that to me. The vibe of the repair man felt like he was rushing to get the job done, left glass everywhere (from the backyard leading all the way to the front driveway.. I have dogs that could have stepped on it). He didnt even notify me that he was leaving after the job was finished! He just left! I called and left the owner a voicemail... get a rude call back threatening me to pay for the job done. He kept on trying to talk over me as I tried to explain the misunderstanding. Walked in to request a quote, and setup an measurement appointment. The appointment went well; however, when the mirror was delivered 1.5 week later. The center cut for the light fixture was off by 3.5 inches. A week later the second mirror was cut shorter lengthwise (probably to adjust for the cut), but the mirror cracked during the installation. The office called to offer me a 3rd mirror (without a price reduction) to be installed 4 or 5 days later, or get a refund of my deposit. I would have taken the 3rd mirror; however, they left shards of broken glass on the counter and floor. Didn't offer to clean it up, ripped drywall paper, nicked the ceiling, nicked the floor tile grout, and didn't scrape off the glue entirely off the wall. Leaving an uneven wall, and cut my foot with a piece of glass. read more

Prices are very affordable and I was able to put my glass window order on April 10 and by April 12 my glass window was installed. We had a double pane patio glass door that shattered. The external facing glass needed to be replaced. They sent someone to measure the glass, provide a reasonable estimate, ordered the glass, and installed within a couple of days. Redlands glass is great! The first time I went in I just needed a mirror cut down. Simple, easy peasy. Second time I went in was for a mirror I had purchased at World Market that had broken during shipping. It was in the shape of a chevron. Got it back and it was as good as new. The next time I went in I wanted a mirror cut in a Hexagon shape. I had a basic size but no angles or anything. The girls were super helpful in getting me exactly the shape I wanted. Even drew on the mirror to exact specs so I could see and approve before the cuts were made. This mirror is gorgeous! And the pricing to cut the glass was super inexpensive! Called Redlands Glass around 9:24am they arrrived at 10:36am with a glass to replace our broken sliding glass window. Glass was a casualty of my husband, the weed trimmer and a rock. We had a great experience with Redlands Glass at our business. They are knowledgeable and true to their word. The owner of the property called them to service our commercial door. They told us the day (two days later and they were willing to come the very next day but worked with our schedule) they would be back and at about what time after inspecting the problem. They showed up right on time, worked and problem solved to finish and fix the issues we were having. After the tech worked and fixed our problem, then the owner came back and looked over the work. THUMBS DOWN! These people sent a guy out to do a simple screen door repair. The screen had come loose at the top and the door itself, which needed a new air pump, did not open and close properly. Assuming that he had made the necessary repairs, we paid the contractor $75.00 and he as on his way after about half an hour. After he left, we understood the reason for his quick departure. He had inserted two screws in the screen that were so long they came out on the other side of the door, creating a dangerous condition; and the door itself still would not close properly since he had failed to replace the air pump. We had to pay another company to remove and replace the faulty screws and do the job properly. Total waste of our money. read more

I've come in a panic to Redlands Glass on a few occasions that I can think of and each time, they have put my glass orders together in a jiffy! Everyone at Redlands Glass was really helpful. Even though they were busy, they were patient with us while we decided what would look best for a piece of old furniture we were refurbishing. They had a lot of samples for us to choose from and we decided on a Gold Vein mirror. Apparently he rescued the mirror from a very old home in Redlands- even better! He took the measurements to cut the mirror into the correct sizes, they were ready to pick up later that day, and the pieces fit in perfectly.
