The lighting package is worth it (chandlier, uplights, overhead string lights)- really, it's all you need to highlight the gorgeous brick interior. Photo package- our engagement pictures were excellent. Neither my husband or I would be considered "photogenic" but he really captured some great shots. Alex started taking pictures of us at 9:30 AM during the Vietnamese tea ceremony and again as we got started getting ready at 34 events around 1 and through the wedding until it ended. He had 2 other assistant photographers there capturing the party. Alex's style is photojournalistic and he is a ninja at getting shots without you knowing. The photo booth was a big hit and they let it run an additional hour or so. We did not go with the caterer through the venue, we needed a very specific ethnic multi-course meal that Alex allowed us to bring our caterer of choice which a lot of other venues do not allow. We also got the beer/wine package and our guests took full advantage. Alex was really easy to work with and always responded promptly. Our wedding was stunning and we had a good experience with 34 events.

We hosted both our ceremony and reception there for 150 guests, and it couldn't have worked out better. One of the biggest advantages of 34 Events is how much is handled in-house. From linens and flatware to special lighting, catering, and the bar, so much was coordinated through the venue, which made the planning process incredibly easy and stress-free. The food was prepared on-site and was delicious. We received numerous compliments from our guests. We also utilized Hope's Day-of Coordination services, and it was worth every penny. Hope is simply amazing. She made the entire day feel calm and effortless, allowing us to truly enjoy every moment. We are so grateful for her care, organization, and attention to detail. Both Hope and Alex were incredibly responsive throughout the process, and we genuinely enjoyed working with them. Whether it was meeting in person, texting, or chatting over the phone, David was always there to answer the many questions that arose during our extensive wedding planning. Additionally, Irene's Bakery--the bakery the venue partners with--was fantastic! The cake was delicious and delivered right on time. We also worked with DJ Ivan, who did an amazing job! He executed our timeline perfectly and played exactly the songs I had requested. On the day of the wedding, our reception went incredibly smoothly. The room was set up exactly according to the floor plan we had discussed. There was plenty of staff on hand, ensuring that both the head table and every guest table were well taken care of. Everyone was attentive and brought a wonderful, positive energy to the evening. As both the bride and the planner of my own wedding, I intentionally tried to keep things relatively simple--and even so, everything turned out absolutely beautifully. David worked with the schedule of other parties, as well as our availability, and made it possible for us to setup before the wedding rehearsal. The newly married couple arrived from the UK a few days in advance of the party, but both of them came down with Covid. Needless to say, we had to cancel the party, and all of us were devastated! But Vaibhav from the Glitz was great and gave us a credit for the full amount that could be used if we rebooked the party within a year. Nearly a year later, we finally pulled off the event. We had to wait for him to set up tables so we could start decorating. Some of the tablecloths had stains on them, probably from night before. The chargers they used were dirty, we had to wash food off several of them. To top it off, he was rude. Not apologizing or trying to make things right. He was supposed to come back and mop before guests showed up cause the floors were disgusting and decided to show up Late when our guests were there and tried to mop....we told him to forget it... He isn't moping around guest. Not one time Did he apologize or make things right. He would be mad or fling his hands. He even showed the venue to 2 or 3 People while we were trying to decorate. Making them promises of stuff he would do, that he did not do for us. When you rent a venue, you expect to walk in and it be clean and ready for you to use. That was definitely not the case!

I found One Love Events on Yelp while searching for wedding coordinators. And, let me just say, if you are getting married you NEED a "day of" wedding coordinator. My husband was skeptical about hiring a wedding coordinator, but even he was completely onboard after meeting with Delina and Whitney. Who's going to put out your decorations while you're getting your hair/makeup done with bridal party? Who is going to queue the music or musicians? Who is going to sit at the venue for hours and receive all the vendors, because someone has to be there (flowers, caterers, cake, etc)? If you're like me, your family and friends are going to be in your wedding and logistically you need them in other places. Also, who is going to pack up all of your gifts, decorations, food/cake at the end of the night and put it in someone's car for you? Believe me, you don't want your friends and family stuck with these tasks when they could be enjoying your wedding with you. One Love Event staff handled all of this us! I admit I was a little nervous contacting One Love Events at first because they did not have any "Yelp recommended" reviews. But, let me just say, they were completely legit and professional. Delina and Whitney have been doing this for years. We hired them just for "day of" wedding coordinator services, but we got more than just "day of" services. We had pre-wedding meetings, calls/texts, and just a lot of communication before the wedding. I think they sent us vendor recommendations and a checklist too. Plus, Delina helped run the rehearsal the night before the wedding and collected all the wedding decorations. Also, if you're worried a wedding coordinator will cost a fortune, you're not alone. My husband and I paid for everything ourselves and wanted the most for our money. I called another 5 Star rated wedding coordinator company here on Yelp and I think they quoted like $3,000-$5,000 for only one staff member. Crazy. One Love showed up with at least 3 people that I saw and One Love was way, way, way more affordable than $3,000 for one coordinator. They also let you pay in installments and I was able to pay everything online. To sum it up, be a wise bride or groom and book them immediately!
