We hired Nikia for my friends birthday party and she was phenomenal!!! Initial consults were super easy and information was clear. The payment process was easy...she just made everything effortless. We were late arriving, but she called and got everything set up with the other vendors that were there. Her area was super cute and she was very nice and attentive. She was fun and fast. This review is long overdue but I had to make sure that I inform you of the wonderful service we received! Nikia Woods Bartending serviced my friends an I for one of our annual Christmas parties in Dallas, last December. When she arrived, she immediately started setting up her area and then insisted on assisting me in the kitchen. She was so helpful and honestly, if she didn't lead a helping hand, our party would have started a little later than expected. We created our own bar menu for her to follow and the drinks we're AMAZING! She kept everyone smiling, and kept our cups full. She even made our annual toast very special by adding her own twist to the champagne being served. Everyone loved her so it was confirmed that night that we're going to book with her company every year for our celebration. I will not look any other way when searching for a bartender. Also, when you book, don't be afraid to ask for purchasing tips because we definitely had a lot of mixers (juice) left over, lol! We booked Nikia for our salon grand opening event! She was actually a referral from another friend of mine. Communication was excellent and very helpful as we were not sure of the turn out. We were able to plan accordingly and not go over our budget for alcohol and still had plenty for our guests. Nikia was professional, punctual and flexible. If I could give a 10 star rating I would definitely do it. At 60 years old my mom had her first birthday party and was anxious about the outcome. Initial consultation and email exchanges between Nikia were good and I thought she would have been a great vendor. She seemed professional and was relatively cheaper than other bartenders we looked at. However at our wedding she was another story. We had hired her for 6-11 including cocktail hour, but during cocktail hour she didn't serve alcohol. We asked our coordinator and she said Nikia said that since we only hired 1 bartender, she wasn't going to do the cocktail hour. We hired her to be a bartender at our wedding, but it seemed that was she also acting as a guest participant as well. We saw her pictures in our photo booth and she went to catch my bouquet that I was tossing and she actually caught it! She jumped in front of my best friend who I was aiming for. Everyone was like if your bartender hadn't jumped in front of her she would have gotten it. Everyone was confused why the bartender was even a part of the bouquet toss. One of my guest told me that they were trying to get a drink and she told them to "Hold on, I'm going to go catch the bouquet." so my guest just went to pour his drink since she was busy having fun. I also specifically told her I would pay her the tip after the event and one of the guest tipped her because he wasn't sure how tip worked and she told him she wasn't allowed to leave out a tip jar. She instead should have told my guest that we were paying her tip after the event and not to worry and enjoy the night. That was only one guest that I heard about through my sister so I'm not sure how many other guests tipped her on the side. Which is extra upsetting since she does not deserve any tip. She was really nice during consultation and I really wanted to like her so I could recommend her to my friends who are getting married or other events that I have, but her actions at my wedding was really disappointing and not professional. I would not recommend her to people who actually want a real bartender at their event. read more

I would hire Nikia and staff again. She went above and beyond at my birthday party. Not only did she do what she was suppose to do as a bartender but she offered to do extras to make sure everyone was happy and that I got to visit with my guests. She helped wherever she could when she had the time. From slicing the cake to refilling dip. She did not have to do that but she wanted to help and keep the flow of the party superb. And I really appreciated that. She also made specifically requested margaritas by me and they were mixed perfectly. And were the hit of the party. Thank you Nikia! read more

We booked this company for an Open House at our building on Turtle Creek Blvd. Nikia personally came and did the set up and then we had the super fun and friendly Tamika bartend throughout the event. They definitely added to the good vibes and atmosphere throughout the party. We will definitely use them again. read more

Nikia's Bartending service was above and beyond my expectation. From the professional set up, custom menu and specialty drinks. She has many different options from, open bar to cash bar. I did not have a pleasant experience with this bartender. She seemed nice and professional before the event and we got her because her price was relatively cheap. The one star itself signifies that she at least showed up to the event. We hired her for our wedding and we later found out from the wedding coordinator that she did not serve cocktail hour because she did not want to relocate for cocktail hour and then to the reception area, even though we paid her for her time there. She kept leaving her bar services to participate in the reception party at the expense of waiting guest. She photo bomb a guest during their photo booth pictures. She left her station to catch my wife's bouquet toss which was upsetting for her. She was paid to work there, she was not a guest that was invited. She was even dishonest in accepting tips. We agreed to pay her tips afterwords and she told guest "she is not allowed to have a tip jar" rather than telling them the tips are covered. read more
