It started malfunctioning in the early part of the winter during that super cold stretch. On off - on off... I sure didn't want it to die during the night. I panicked and called a different company out to ck the heater over. Whoever Mike's Mechanical sent out forgot to clean some basic little temperature probe. The new service guy hooked up a meter, up came a code and it ID'd the problem instantly. The new guy cleaned the probe and the furnace has been functioning fine ever since.

He shared they likely would not charge the full amount, as they could not sweep. But, that was not the case. We were charged the same amount quoted for a chimney sweep, though they only gave an assessment. I am disappointed and will not be referring them to others.
