I don't know what's happened but, they are no longer the company they used to be. I recently hired Wilbers to repair a loose newel post at the bottom of my stairs. When Danny the estimator came he explained that it might be an easy fix or more involved if they needed to install a new 4X4 interior post. Though I requested that he provide estimates for both scenarios he only sent the estimate for the worst case scenario. I let that go because I trusted that they would do the right thing should it prove to be an easy fix. When they arrived it turned out that all that was needed was to replace the wooden board in the basement with a 2 ft. 2x4 and tighten the bolt that runs inside the post. The workers were here for 1 hour and for this Wilber's decided that a fair price was $820. It seemed absolutely outrageous to me that they would charge me $820 to tighten a bolt so I tried reaching out to Wilber 3 times and asked that he call me back to discuss. Well he never called me back. I can only assume that he knows full well that he did is wrong and is unable to justify his outrageous pricing. It's sad that Wilber thinks this is how you should treat a loyal customer and it's certainly disappointing to discover what an unprofessional and unethical person he is. I certainly will never utilize the services of Wilbers ever again and I would caution anyone thinking of hiring them to think twice. Wilber is a man that lacks integrity and therefore someone you cannot trust to do business with.

I connected with Andre from Three Oranges in July/August, 2023 with our interest in hiring them to do our upstairs bathroom. I knew Santiago through mutual friends for several years now, and knew Andre as well. I had expectations high, or at least wanted the job to be done correctly. After conversations with Andre, we picked out the tile for the walls, the floor, discussed the shower setup (had a tub and we wanted a stand-up shower instead), decided on the vanity, hardware, mirrors, and anything else that will be installed. We went ahead and ordered everything and loaded up half the garage so they wouldn't have to go buy them. They did, however, need to pick up consumables as well as the items that go with the heated floor. By the time they were ready to start, we were ready and had everything on hand. Well, things did not go at all as I'd expected. I returned home from work several days in a row to the heavy smell of pot smoke in the bathroom where they were working as well as in my garage. I left it alone for a few days in case it was just a 1 time thing, but it wasn't. It was daily and so much so that when I mentioned it to Andre they sent the guy home that was smoking it which left them with Andre and 2 crew members to complete the work. I was assured that it would be fine and things will move along as expected. As they got further into the project, I (as every other homeowner spending money on work like this), kept up with photos of my own and a daily walk-through and review to see how things were going. A few things left me wondering (things like 4-6" of cement in the walls? Why?), but I thought ok I am not a pro and these guys are so I'll keep checking in and trust they know what they are doing. During the entire time they worked, Andre was barely there. He would arrive in the morning, say hello, and then leave for the day. Occasionally he would return at the end of the day, but usually did not unless there were questions about the work. As they got closer to the end, Andre would arrive to do the electrical work and provide some info on how things were moving along. The end of the work came and at first glance we were very excited for what we saw. The colours and style were exactly what we were expecting. Then we did a final walk-through with Andre and began a closer look at everything and that's when the issues started to pop up. From grout that didn't match, to door and window frames that were not completed on top (including paint), to our brand new vanity and more. The vanity drawers had been cut up to make space for the drains for the sinks but they were cut in a way that was much larger than they needed to be. The drawers are built in so re-cutting them was not an option otherwise we would have to replace the entire vanity. I asked when they could paint match and replace the drawers that they cut wrong and I was told they'll be back next week to do it. Next week came and went and nothing. Santiago came for a walk-through himself and I showed him everything that we noticed that was not done well, incorrectly, or just ruined by their installation. I was told they would be back asap to fix these issues and would need to get the paint matched for the drawers to get new ones. Again, nobody came back. Several follow up requests for ETA on redoing their damage and silence. A whole year has passed and nothing has been corrected. If I knew then what I know now, I never would have hired them and looked for someone more professional. Ignoring clients after you damage their brand new things, not returning, not fixing the issues, and not caring at all is absolutely unprofessional and not something I would ever expect, especially from people I had been acquainted with previously. If you think of hiring them, keep looking. Ask people you know for recommendations. Ask for detailed information, ask for photos, videos, and any other way to verify the quality of work. I'm SOL thanks to these hacks but you don't have to be.

Mike, Joe, Charlie, and their whole crew renovated both bathrooms and converted our sunroom into a space we now can't imagine living without. From the very first estimate to the final walk-through, communication was outstanding. Any question we had (no matter how small), Mike, Joe, or Charlie answered immediately and patiently--always with a smile and total reassurance. They take immense pride in their work, caught details we never would have considered, and offered suggestions that took everything to the next level. They started right on time and finished in under 6 weeks (would've been even quicker if our windows and vanities hadn't been delayed by the suppliers). The craftsmanship is flawless--every time I walk by the sunroom or step into one of the bathrooms I'm still in awe. It's honestly a work of art. By the end we were genuinely sad to see them leave. They'd become part of our daily routine, and saying goodbye felt like saying goodbye to family. We miss having them around! If you want contractors who treat your home and your family like their own, hire ProBros LLC without hesitation. Mike, Joe, Charlie--you guys are the best. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
