Wilmer and his crew at Power Home Contractors were absolutely phenomenal! We've always wanted our…read morebasement finished, but always thought the cost would be too high so we never pursued it further. However, once the pandemic hit and we found ourselves spending so much more time inside, we decided to test the waters and get a few estimates so that our family of five could potentially enjoy more indoor space. We had about 5 different companies come out and give us estimates, and Wilmer's was by far the most detail oriented and reasonably priced. We signed on the dotted line, and almost immediately Wilmer and his guys started the job. They worked tirelessly every day (Saturdays included) for 4 weeks straight and transformed our 1200 square foot dark, drab basement to a bright, fun, and elegant space. Even better, they completed the job in record time, exceeding our wildest expectations. My wife and I are so incredibly happy with how everything turned out and our 3 kids absolutely love all the extra room they now have to play . That said, I can't recommend Power Home Contractors highly enough--they've truly made our basement finishing dreams come true!

Mike, Joe, Charlie, and their whole crew renovated both bathrooms and converted our sunroom into a space we now can't imagine living without. From the very first estimate to the final walk-through, communication was outstanding. Any question we had (no matter how small), Mike, Joe, or Charlie answered immediately and patiently--always with a smile and total reassurance. They take immense pride in their work, caught details we never would have considered, and offered suggestions that took everything to the next level. They started right on time and finished in under 6 weeks (would've been even quicker if our windows and vanities hadn't been delayed by the suppliers). The craftsmanship is flawless--every time I walk by the sunroom or step into one of the bathrooms I'm still in awe. It's honestly a work of art. By the end we were genuinely sad to see them leave. They'd become part of our daily routine, and saying goodbye felt like saying goodbye to family. We miss having them around! If you want contractors who treat your home and your family like their own, hire ProBros LLC without hesitation. Mike, Joe, Charlie--you guys are the best. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I recently hired J.C. Brothers Construction for a very small office renovation project. It was a…read morevery simple job, but ended up being a horrible experience working with this company: The work was poor quality--many new walls were not built correctly, or flush/plumb. They installed some tile which cracked both at the grout lines and in the tile itself. They accidentally drilled many holes into a finished wood floor. There were many mistakes reading and understanding the drawings I issued, which led to more mistakes that needed to be fixed, sometimes multiple times. They also do not understand or follow building codes. There is almost no supervision of the workers, which also led to many preventable mistakes. They will say they can complete work by a certain day, but then no one shows up for days at a time and the work does not get completed by deadline. They will propose a price for work and then immediately increase the price, or say that the price they proposed did not include many obvious things that were clearly in the scope of work. They said they would include debris removal in their proposal, but then demanded I secure and pay for repeated dumpster deliveries. As an architect and consumer, I would never work with J.C. Brothers Construction again, and would never recommend them to a client or other architect.
