DO NOT GO TO THIS Gastroenterologist. Albeit Dr. Singh is a good doctor, but his office staff is awful. I was referred to them by my primary office to obtain a biologic treatment for having Crohn's disease. I had a colonoscopy and then waited over 6 months for them to issue the medication. They first put me on Entyvio, which didn't work, and it took me crying my eyes out one morning, for them to take me seriously that the medicine wasn't working. So then, they switched me to Remicade. When calling the office, you do not talk to a living human being. You are directed to a voice mail. If you are not stern in the voice mail with the message that you are leaving, they will not call you back. Well, I have reached the point of my good patience. I was supposed to receive my dose of Remicade this month, however the order was expired. After calling the office 3 days in a row, I lost my temper. I know I was upset, but no person should have to call an office 3 days in a row, just to get a renewal order for the medication they need to be well. When I finally was able to speak to the office staff, they said that they sent over the renewal order at the beginning of the month, and that they called me the day prior and that my voice mailbox was full. Mind you, I went back into my call log and there was no missed calls from their office. Secondly, there was only 4 messages in my voice mailbox, so my voicemail box was not full. That was lie number one. Then I called the infusion center to schedule my Remicade infusion and they informed me that they had just received the order the day prior (12/16) not at the beginning of the month. Lie number 2. Here it is the end of December and I am scheduled to receive my Remicade, before the deductible resets at the beginning of the year and I receive a phone call from the infusion center saying that although they have the medication and I am ok to come in, there is still no authorization for me to actually be treated because Dr. Singh's office did not do their part in obtaining the authorization. I understand that their is a lot of red tape when it comes to insurance, but I am the patient. I have good medical insurance and that is what it pays for. In the end, their incompetency affects me and me only. It affects my well being. If you do not have to come here, DO NOT! It will only result in a bunch of frustration, tears, and stress. Maybe an honest opinion, will result in Dr. Singh evaluating his office setup and he will take action to change it. read more
