If I could give Shasta Fencing more than five stars, I absolutely would! Carl, the owner, runs his…read morecompany the right way and takes tremendous pride in both the quality of the work and his customers' satisfaction. Carl, Floyd, Brandon, and Jeff built approximately 200 feet of fencing across extremely rocky terrain on a steep hillside leading down to a river. This was not an easy or ordinary fence installation. When solid rock made it impossible to install some of the posts conventionally, they didn't cut corners--they problem-solved and fabricated custom-welded plates and anchors that could be secured directly into the rock. They then wrapped the posts in pressure-treated wood, giving the fence a beautiful, natural appearance that blends perfectly with the surroundings. The finished product is both incredibly solid and great-looking. The entire crew deserves recognition for its professionalism, skill, and extraordinary work ethic, but I especially want to recognize Carl and Floyd. Carl's experience, ingenuity, and commitment to getting everything right were apparent throughout the project. Floyd worked unbelievably hard in extremely challenging conditions and consistently went above and beyond. Brandon and Jeff were also excellent and made an important contribution to a difficult job. This project required real craftsmanship, physical effort, creativity, and persistence, and Shasta Fencing delivered on every level. The final result exceeded our expectations. If you need a fence--especially one involving difficult terrain or unusual challenges--I cannot recommend Carl and the Shasta Fencing team highly enough. Absolutely exceptional work from beginning to end!

It's incredibly difficult to find someone in Redding who specializes in this type of door work, and…read morewe couldn't be happier with the service we received. He initially came to our home for a free consultation, spent nearly an hour carefully measuring everything, and provided a detailed shopping list. He even continued helping by text when I became overwhelmed by all the options and confused about the measurements. When it was time for the installation, he spent nearly half the day replacing and properly aligning our very heavy door--all on his own and without interrupting us while we worked. Our door and frame had never fully recovered after firefighters had to break through it during a fire, and it had become extremely difficult to open and close. It now works beautifully. He was knowledgeable, personable, funny, patient, and incredibly hardworking. On top of all that, he was extremely reasonable, which felt exceptionally fair considering the consultation, ongoing guidance, and amount of labor involved. We are so grateful to have found him and would highly recommend his services to anyone needing specialized door work.

I can't say enough good things about our recent experience with Hugo and his team at Romero Quality…read moreFencing. I'd requested a quote for perimeter fencing at our house, including several gates. I then sort of put Hugo through the ringer by asking for several variations on the quote, trying to fit our budget and aesthetic preferences. Then, due to financial and health reasons, we had to delay the project several months. Hugo was always gracious and responsive, and did just the right amount of follow up -- enough to keep in touch, but never coming close to being pushy. When we finally did move ahead with the work, he and his crew were prompt, did the work in a very reasonable time frame, and most importantly, they did great work. Several neighbors have commented on how good it all looks, and one who is in the building trades commented that he had watched as the project went along and was impressed by the quality of their work, and I agree! When we got to the end of the project and Hugo came for the final walk through, there were a few minor details to be resolved, but he stayed for a couple hours that day and finished everything off himself. As others have noted, there may be other less expensive options, but in my experience they weren't much less, and we definitely got what we paid for and more. In summary, the quality is great, the look is exactly what we wanted, the job was completed on time, and the customer service couldn't have been much better. We're looking forward to having them back out in the next year for some additional work in our back yard, and I enthusiastically recommend them.

All we can say is wow! And that's what everyone else says when they see what Bryce has created…read more first of all, Bryce is an amazingly kind and diligent person to work with. I felt that he listened to my ideas and was able to dovetail with some great ideas of his own, making the finished project amazing. We had Bryce enclose a 70 X 60' area for a huge vegetable garden that needed to be safe from deer and other animals as much as possible. The design included two gates, a 4 foot gate and a 6 foot gate, and a bump out that would create an entrance into the garden. My original idea was to make my garden fence out of pressure-treated wood, but after talking with Bryce and finding out that his specialty is welding and working with oil pipe, which is a look I love but thought it was unattainable, I quickly switched ideas to what Bryce was offering and it turned out beautifully. Next, we had Bryce work on an arbor for our front walk that bakes in the afternoon sun. I had an idea that I wasn't sure could work, but Bryce made it work and made it look really cool. The pictures do not show the finished product yet, because the posts will be clad 3 foot up in River rock to match the front of the house. We loved working with Bryce and look forward to having him do more oil pipe magic for our landscape. Bryce always dealt with us honestly and very reasonably. We couldn't be happier with the result.
